I brought a HP Envy 15 j133tx.
Configuration:
4702MQ i7 processor
nVidia GT 750M 4 GB graphics card
8 GB RAM
When I play games for 10-15 minutes the sound becomes lag and the games start extremely slow operation.
Even the games run slowly. I tried to update my BIOS but it did not help. Help, please!
It may be the memory problems, overheating, or even areas of defective hard drive.

Satellite L550: Civilization 3 game run slow after upgrade to Win 7
My laptop came with Vista pre-installed, and I ordered the "free" Windows 7 upgrade.
I play a game called civilization 3, which I installed with Vista and it worked fine.

As far as I know, you can find the latest graphics card driver on the European driver Toshiba page. It s the most recent which is available for this model of laptop and the graphics card.
But to be honest, the 3 civilizations is not a powerful game that would need a strong graphics card and so I doubt that this could be a graphics card problem.
What version of Windows 7 you are using? Is it a 64 bit version?
Maybe civilization 3 is not fully tested and compatible with Win 7.Looking for training in civilization 3 forums or manufacturer?

I have a vostro 1500 (as you know) with 8600M gt graphics
laptop worked fine with win 7, play a lot of games (modern warfare 3, border area 2, civ 5,...). graphical setting was low but games run almost smooth.
3 months ago a big problem happened. each associated graph things become slow. lag in all games, or even warcraft 3 (year 2003), I used to play with the highest settings, now same menu have lag.
and the problem is not there, I felt some lag in windows too. for example in the columns resize task manager return with flickering in the text of the lines and was too slow. Mid 2011 Mac Mini running slow/a lot of balloons of beach/HDD to research and writing
I have a Mid 2011 Mac Mini, which runs slower than a snail's pace. I frequently get beach balls as I type this message. Startup time is very long, and the hard drive is often written / search/access for several minutes at random throughout the day.
This seemed to start after I have updated to El Capitan 10.11.6. I decided a few weeks to reinstall OS X without doing a thorough cleaning. It did not help the situation, so I then proceeded to install the latest beta of Mac OS 10.12 to see if that helped. Nope. I don't think I have a bad hard drive, either.

running slow mac - cleanmymac and/or new battery?
My macbook (13-inch late 2009 model) works well, but is running slow. I am considering buying Cleanmymac 3 - but it made a difference? I used the demo version that has identified about 110 GB, which could be authorised only if I got the full Cleanmymac3. I have to add... the battery did 470 cycles! Would it better to replace the battery or get Cleanmymac performance? I'm not very irritable so don't really understand the impact of one. Ideally I get a new mac but will try and keep this one spends more time if possible! Thank you

I used to work only on PC, but now I have this 2009 macbook Pro. He had a record of 7200 RPM... but he died... I want to put a hybrid SSHD on it... will it run slower?
Several years ago I tested both a hybrid version Seagate 1 and later version 2 with my 13 "2009 MBP and the computer started more quickly with one of these drives with 7200 RPM drive. But that and save files were the only time where I saw an improvement of high speed. So no, not slower, but not really all that much faster. I ended up installing an SSD in the computer. Now that was an improvement.
