  I work for a small engineering firm. We have owned a large scale printer Postscript HP Designjet T2300 plotter for about five years. We rarely have problems with it, but a few days ago, we started to have problems with the service stations of the tracer.   Is there a sensor or something built that is supposed to stop the carrier to service station when it is moved to the front as it has supposed to go? Is my only option to replace the entire service station?

  I encountered this problem once and now I know that the solution and it happens.  When you put on new belt and give support on you right hand side pinch the big grey sheet which goes back to the emod on the other side.  It happens more often than you think.  It is very easy to fix but you must remove the right side again and this time when you put the support on the right side to make sure the flex cable has a lot of game, when the support is totally against the frame and before you start editing I think 7 screws holding it.  It will work after that that the cable is not damaged but being pinched roots of this problem.

  I'm from the Germany, but I think that I've already read messages from people of france claiming the 4.0 update is available. (Canada was the first, but (most of?)) The Europe that the France followed about a month later, so you shouldn't need to learn of Quebecers).

  It is well known that the original recovery image contains many specific Toshiba Toshiba and utility tools and also some additional applications and almost all of them starts with Windows. That is the reason why almost every new notebook Toshiba starts slowly.

  Open system configurations > startup and check if Toshiba service station is on the list.
  Control Panel > administrative tools > system configuration
  If Yes, check the checkbox in front of it. Restart your computer and check please if gas station will start again.

  Quite often messages from gas station can be confused. You have new notebook and if everything works perfectly you need not install any update, especially for the DVD player.

  AFAIK just gas station offers information on updates, but you are not required to do so.
  I use my cell phone for more than three years with the factory settings and I didn't install any update drivers or software pre-installed. Everything works well and stabile. Why change something?
