Gel and horizontal line

Hello guys, but first forgive my English language.

Before that I don't have enough time (busy with the campsite) and strong wifi to update my ios for my iphone 5s. I use ios 8.4.1 then I've updated directly to 9.2.1 ios using itunes as I supposedly updated ios 9 first. Then, every 3 minutes scrolling my phone, he become the gel and the horizontal lines appear on my screen. Also, I restarted my phone for my time. But it remains the same. Whats happening? Help me

Hi noshsyahirah,

I don't know if the horizontal lines that you see on your iPhone are the result of the iOS 9.2.1 update but I will propose a number of things to try.  The first is to update your iPhone in order to ensure that the software is installed correctly.  If the problem persists, you will need to backup your iPhone and then restore it as a new device.  If after trying these software troubleshooting steps you still see horizontal lines, then your device will need to be inspected for a hardware problem.

  • Borders and the vertical and horizontal lines

    Hi guys,.

I'm new to InDesign and I am trying to create the below, but I'm having difficulties.

How can I create the border and vertical and horizontal lines as shown in the picture? I wan't to make a model of these so that I can easily modify the title and the text and keep the same formatting.

    Thank you!

You must learn to have a little patience. Everyone here is a volunteer, and we all work day, too.

Your outer rim could be either a stroke applied to a block of text in multiple columns, or it could be a separate framework used closely as a background. If you apply a line directly on the text block, you can add an insert to move the text of the line. Horizontal rules (that's the term for a straight line in page layout) look like they're probably paragraph nets (lines above or below a paragraph). These can be included as part of the paragraph styles applied to securities. Paragraph nets can be adjusted to the weight and position on the basis of either the first or the last line of paragraph (depending on whether the rule is above or below) and can run across the width of the column or just the width of the text, and to add dashes, positive or negative.

There is no way to automate the vertical rules, at least not with ID right out of the box. You can add a few PlaceHolder rules between columns on your master page, but you will need to override and set them on the page of the document itself. Set benchmarks of rule between columns on the master page would help, especially in a situation where the rule needs to be broken to accommodate something like the floating image.

You can see if the school library has some reference materials. A particularly good book for a beginner would be Visual Quickstart Guide of Sandee Cohen for InDesign.

  • GeForce 9800GT problems (resolution and horizontal lines) after upgrading to Windows 7

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 on my desktop HP m9350f computer.  I more a few days later my screen has finished by resolution 800 x 600 with horizontal lines on the screen, from the start.  I spent several hours with the support of Microsoft and HP by train to reload the updated drivers from the Internet HP site and Web of NVIDIA site with no improvement.  As part of the normal troubleshooting I plugged a cable and another monitor and the problem is neither the monitor nor the cable.  I removed the video card and temporarily replaced by another video card and the problem goes away, so the problem is with the graphics card (as opposed to the motherboard).  I replaced the NVIDIA card and the problem is back, essentially confirming that the problem is directly related to the graphics card.  While I found 'a lot' of discussions on the internet about similar issues with 9800GT cards, I can't find a solution to this problem. HP and MS have exhausted their resources. Any ideas or solutions?

It's time for a new video card.   Remember to match the energy needs of the new card with the power supply of your PC.

  • Computer laptop screen flickering and horizontal lines in Inspiron 15r SE 7520

I have a laptop Dell inspiron 15r is who is 1.1years old (model - 7520). It worked well up to that of a few days. Last week, he began giving a horizontal line of white point at the top of the screen (like that... in white) for the entire width of the screen. Since yesterday, or a similar line began to appear at the bottom too. Two of these online come and go every 2-3 sec. And the screen will jump a little (like 5 pixels or larger) and it will also sometimes shake which makes it difficult to read letters.

The problem exists everywhere, even in the start screen. In short, when I press power button / stop and screen start showing something problem also begins.

Today, I plugged an external lcd display via a vga cable and it works fine. No line and no flickering. So I guess that the GPU is ok? What could be the problem? Would be - this contact that loose or something cable laptop computer screen?

Another question: I got the security, including the protection against accidental damage and stuff for a year. But since I was outside this period, now, what do I do?

And since I am outside the warranty period anyway is it OK if I open my laptop and try something?

    Help, please!

If you have found the solution please share with me.

  • Poor quality HP 7520 and horizontal lines

I recently bought a HP Photosmart 7520, some printed photographs and was very happy with the results.  I was already part of a series of photographs printed approximately two weeks ago and decided to print another.  The result was poor with horizontal lines, getting more lowest wide printing.   I feel like a sheet of foolscap.  I went in thinking tests align printer and print quality verification and they looked very good.  Another test print is perhaps worse.

The printer reports that my ink black print, not the photo, became weak.  All the other inks were very good.

I checked your question and answers and therefore decided to uninstall and reinstall the printer I have this week had an upgrade to broadband and thought that there is a problem.  This task achieved I did the self test as requested and the result was first class, but it was of course on the smaller size paper.

An impression more away from the same photograph was worse before she looked like a negative, but in color and with only skin correct tones.

I would appreciate your help as I just upgraded to print photographs as old man... was excellent for doing everything else.

    Hi Salty39,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the print quality of your print output.  I see that you said that you have recently purchased this unit. I was wondering if you are still using the configuration supplied with the printer cartridges? If so, please note that these ink cartridges are designed only for a limited number of printing just to set up the printer and if you do photo printing, photo, use a good amount of ink. Please also note that HP printers have built in surge protector and if you have the printer connected to a power strip/bar, the printer will not get all the power it needs to function properly and cela could be another reason why you are having quality problems. Here is a document that explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

Please respond with an operating system that you run and I'll be happy to find more resources about it if the steps that I have outlined have not solved the problem.

  • The film shared iMovie displays noise and horizontal lines where I have added a few pictures

I've added a few photos at the end of my film (about 7 min long, 4 k, but to 1020), but at the beginning a few black and white lines appear instead of the photo and this also happens with another photo.

Are you by chance using iMovie 11 (version 9)?  This does not work with still photos under El Capitan, only the last version, 10.1.2.

  • Green and blue flickering thick vertical and horizontal line with windows media player

Original title: green and blue flashing

    Windows Vista

    Windows Media Player
I have a problem with windows media player. I have a green and a blue flashing thick vertical line. And also a green line below horizontal. Why?
    Help!

    Hi bjorn81,

    1. when exactly you get these lines?

    2. This occurs when you try to play videos?

    3. If so, what is the type of file you are trying to play in Windows Media Player?

    4. What is happening with all the video files or a particular video file?

If the problem affects all or most of the video files you play (as opposed to a few specific files), the software of the driver for your video card (also known as a graphics card, video, graphics card or graphics card) may be outdated.

Play an audio or video file: frequently asked questions - what can I do about video problems, such as green or pink lines appearing in the flickering or choppy video, the player will stop responding during video playback and so on?

If this is not... just prepared about $200 for reballing the chipset vga (price in my country) or more for replacing logicboard.

  • Screen flashing horizontal lines after replacing the RAM

    Hello world

Today, I replaced the original 2 2 GB RAM each with 2 other 4 GB each (Kingston) for better performance.

    I have a Macbook Pro end 2011 15 ", IOS 9.3.1.

I opened the computer it vacuum cleaner very carefully, with the lowest power and then I removed the two RAM.

I'm not new, the machine worked perfectly for 20 minutes, then the screen went black (electricity was running in it, I could see some lights on the bottom), I did close it with the button, turn it on and horizontal lines appeared.

I turn again and nothing has changed. I replaced the new memory with the 'old' and I still have horizontal lines that cross the monitor (white, grey, black).

Any idea of what is happening and how to fix it?

    Thank you in advance!

  • C7T77AA: Pavilion 23fi horizontal lines

Hi, I have a 23 inch HP monitor. Was working fine until I noticed blurred and horizontal lines to the left of the screen.

About 6 inches from left to right. Center and to the right of the screen is still very clear.

Please help, how can I fix it? Thank you.

If the unit is out of warranty, it is out of warranty.

Very few electronic devices is delivered with more than a one year warranty. Some high-end portable computers they included with the purchase of the guarantee two years. It is the de facto standard in the electronics industry.

It is regrettable, but there is nothing that we in the support forum can do to help you with this. This isn't a business unit of HP, we are employees. We are volunteers.

You can contact HP directly and inquire about all the support of the warranty for your screen.

  • Pen tool - blurry no vertical/horizontal lines

Im a noob, a big one at that. I found how to make straight lines, which was not easy but now when I try to make straight lines diagonal it runs always fuzzy. I have a logo that I made with the same result. The two vertical lines are straight and clean, while those who are blurred. Please halp.

Vertical and horizontal lines follow a line of pixels, diagonal lines only and are often anti-aliasing, they appear jagged. It is the nature of pixel imagery based, unlike such vector used in Illustrator.

  • 15 "MacBook Pro early 2011 screen and use failure, horizontal lines, edges off the coast of the center of the screen

    Hi there-

recently worked when all of a sudden my screen turned to a variety of 'snow '. After about 2 seconds, he stopped, but the screen was seriously messed up. Horizontal lines apart a few millimeters, but the lines look as if they were moving a little. In addition, the edge of the screen is now near the Center, rather than on the edge of the physical screen. So, there is a black bar halfway in the screen which cut into 2.

It froze the computer as well, if I pressed the power to restart. It loaded very well through the screen of apple, but as soon as he hit the login screen, he returned to no usable lines. Cannot get back in.

Anyone that prior experience, or know what I can do to get out of trouble? Looks different from most other 'horizontal' issues I found in searching.

    Photo attached.

    Thanks and best,

    Curt

  • Horizontal lines and more

I have a Mac OS X 10.7.5 who suddenly developed a problem with horizontal lines covering the screen and a strong vertical line on the right side (see pix). Sound will always continue if a video is playing, mouse and Tracker will answer but not affect anything (not open, close or move anything). The only thing that solves the problem is to power down. When I turn on the rear, there is a party in question. This has, however, happened twice in the last week... a little concerning that I use my computer in my lectures. I looked at different positions, but none seem to match up with this type of horizontal issue. All the ideas that do not involve me go to the Apple Store? (pathetic bank account)

If someone answers, please use simple as much as possible terms, as I am just an archaeologist. I enter data, download and upload pix and videos, get the computer skills needed... not one of extremely competent computer people.

Yes, you will need it dumb down for me.

    Thank you.

What year/model of Macbook. This happens no matter if you are using an external monitor when there lines? If so, it could be your graphics card.

  • Firefox installed on Windows 7 but the menu bar and icons is filled with small horizontal lines on the icons and the menu bar...

I installed Firefox 21 on a new Windows 7 operating system. The menu bar and the toolbar at the top of the windows is full small horizontal lines. Sometimes, there are more lines and sometimes less. It makes the icons and menu items almost impossible to see. So far, is that the Firefox screen that made it. Other programs I have installed so far doesn't do this.

    Any ideas?

Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.
