• Old Acer Aspire 5538 BIOS Flash?

  I got an Acer Aspire 5538 for quite a while, my mother got to me as a gift. Recently, however, I was playing some good old Halo: THIS when the screen went black.   -put the new BIOS files on USB, now Fn + ESC key during power (USB drive does not receive any current until Windows is upward)

  -with the help of other hard drives

  -removal of RAM, HARD drive, battery, etc. for 5 minutes, then re - insert and tries to start.

  -put the files of the BIOS on a blank CD and insert it in the computer during startup

  I did the oven on a HP G62 thing and it worked for 6 mo. If you can find a small shop who fixed game terminals, they usually have the special oven for this. I had a Board of a Playstation for $50, or you can get a new card (used) for $90.
