Gel with long strings or arrays in the sequence settings

If you create a custom edit step then why not add a variable for the type of step and save the configuration information on it?

for example Step.myArray

  • Transcode all sequences of editing in Premiere Pro for DNX175X? The sequence settings?

About 30% of my digital SLR 8 bits and AVCHD .h264 turned needs significant noise reduction. So I use Neat Video4 in After Effects to reduce noise and can export images with large bands on issues DNX175X 10 bits to help avoid gangs. Also, for sequences requiring a minor noise reduction I'm considering export as DNX36 8-bit in order to avoid the huge file sizes. Is there a reason that I shouldn't do this? Should I export all as DNX175X?

Also, I wonder should I transcode all my images on my first pro at DNX editing or is it better to let the images not requiring reduction of noise in its original format? Also, once put in the own DNX images are the parameters of my project sequence? He would remain AVCHD 1080 p or should it be changed by DNX175X?

    Thank you

    Sheree

Hard drives are fairly cheap.  I generally recommend getting more than better to worry about running out.

Export all as DXxHD 175 x.  Yes.  (In fact, I convert everything even before editing, as the handles so much better than H.264 DNx.)

The sequence settings are pretty irrelevant, as long as you have resolution rates and necessary framework.

  • Is there any predefined preset file which could be 'fit the sequence settings "?

    Hi guys,.

When you export by "match sequence settings" selected, first export clip with the current sequence settings.

If I use the controller to export to export a clip, is there any predefined predefined file that could represent these "match sequence settings"? Or there is a setting that can be serialized in preset file to "adapt the sequence settings"?

    Hi Alex,

Match sequence settings is probably not exactly what you're looking for, because who uses only the Preview predefined sequence which will usually be an I-Frame MPEG codec.

In first Pro CC, it has a new option to Match Source for some formats.  Source soccer match is not available for all formats - for example, with AVI or MOV, it is not available, but with H.264 you can use a "Preset" similar to the one here:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CC\MediaIO\systempresets\4E49434B_48323634\01 - Match Source - high bitrate.epr

For formats which is not supported for game Source, you can use the Suite of sequence information for information on the sequence, as shown in the example of export controller:

    sSequenceInfoSuitePtr-> GetFrameRect()

    sSequenceInfoSuitePtr-> GetPixelAspectRatio()

    sSequenceInfoSuitePtr-> GetFrameRate()

    etc, etc.

Then, use what you have discovered about the sequence to choose the path preset with your own code.

  • Blackmagic Decklink codecs appearing is not on the sequence settings

I am one of many failovers of the FCC who is getting used to the use of Premiere Pro.

I use a Mac Pro with Blackmagic Decklink Extreme. When I start a new project, Blackmagic codecs do not appear in the sequence settings but first saw the release of Blackmagic Audio when I check in the preferences. I downloaded the latest Blackmagic drivers and install them, but I still don't see the codecs for surveillance.

Anyone in the same boat or has any ideas?

    Thank you

How Decklink driver version are you using?

I currently use 8.0 and blackmagic presets is displayed correctly.

In 'New sequence'--> parameters--> edition mode checks to see if there is an option "Blackmagic uncompressed.

If this isn't the case, decklink plugins for first are not installed correctly.

Do not forget that decklink drivers MUST be installed after the installation of CS5.5.

    Hope to be useful.

  • QuickTime not an option on a video clip of the sequence settings

In the sequence, under video preview settings, "Quicktime" is not listed as a preview File Format.

    8.1 running 64-bit Windows

I installed the latest Quicktime, uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, nothing helps.

Also, I did the same thing with Premiere Pro, uninstall and reinstall.

Here is a screenshot of the drop-down menu that doesn't have the Quicktime option.

    Preview_noquicktime.jpg

I'm running out of ideas for how to get it to appear, so I came here :/

    Thanks in advance!

I would use MPEG I-Frame only as a preview format, but even this is not!

This seems strange to me.  Try this:

  • Can I create by default of the sequence settings?

    Hello

It is possible to create a default value established for new sequences instead of having to set up manually.

For example, I love my deadlines to be developed entirely with display set to display all the images etc.

It would be great if there was a way to always open a new sequence in this way.

    Brian

What I did, for some here, the 'standard' editing work is to create an empty project with set of sequences, with just the titles, stores, etc., I like and then save this provision as a 'model '. I have just open one of these templates and make a Save_As for the new project I'm starting immediately. I have also these PRPROJ (project) files hidden from the outside, in case I forgot the step Save_As. I just import the unique strengths, then change now. Now, not every aspect of the screen will be exactly as I could the love, but 95% of the work is done for me.

    Good luck

  • Confused about the sequence settings

I have some footage from 23.976 960 x 720 P2 in a new project PP.  I want to use my Kona convince to watch.

There is no presets sequence for this... 23.976.

But if I make a 720p25 OR a p 720 29.97 OR 720 p 59,94 sequence, I stick all my images in them and see my images through the Kona with no rendering bar at all.

I'm confused.  I thought that if does not match the sequence and the sequence, I have to make all my images to conform to sequencing.  I'm glad I don't have to make, but I wonder what can go wrong later if I continue to edit this project at the rate of 'bad '.

What happens here, and should I be worried?  Does it matter what the frame rate of the sequence?  (My deliverables are web videos.)

Coming from FCP, it sounds crazy... or the magic.

    Jim,

Do not make the foregoing; It will not create a sequence that will work with your hardware.

I'm surprised that AJA have 24 p (23.976) sequence presets, but maybe it's like that. Try to open the dialog box new sequence and select one of the presets 720 p AJA you already mentioned. Click the settings tab in the dialog box and under the drop-down list in Edit Mode to see what AJA 720 p modes of edition you have. Choose this one, if it isn't already, and then change the timebase of 23.976. You probably won't have to change anything else; If everything looks good, save a pre-selection, so you can quickly access these settings the next time that you need to create a similar sequence.

You must use the AJA editing modes to activate the output through the Kona card, and it is important to use a time base that corresponds to your images (most of the time) since that affects the way that managers are made for the exit. And don't be surprised if you do not have to go to Premiere Pro - it's the name of the game

If everything above do not, check out please let me know.

  • Get the sequence settings...

    Hello

I use LabVIEW to create my custom OI. I already managed to load and run a chosen sequence.

What I want to do now is to get and, possibly, set each parameter (name, value, type) sequence listed in: 'Sequence Manager'-> 'Variables'-> 'settings '. I want to this after the loading sequence and before we do work... but I don't know how!

    Concerning

  • Export issues of sequences with the correct settings for DVD

Hi - I'm relatively new at first, but working on a project that is very important for me - for the life of me I can't understand correctly export settings.

I have compiled from home movies of my family in a few sequences for the 60 years of my dad. I worked on these weeks now get cleaned and put all together. In total, it's about 24 hours of footage. These videos have all turned initially on a very old camera video in the 80 and 90 - the kind you actually stuck a VHS tape in. My ultimate goal is to put these or on a DVD (although I guess that's too many images for one), or a drive flash or something of all compiled in one video.

So far, I got error messages on not enough disk space - so I tried breaking the sequences and exported individually as smaller files. But now, when I export those, all videos come out tiny - the video focuses on a much larger screen, do more fit to size. I studied everything about elongation and corresponding parameters and I tried everything. Of course I do not something good, I don't know what.

I tried all different export settings, the settings of the sequence, and I thought I was following with the sequence settings, but I guess I'm not. Although I worked on it for weeks, I am out of time. His birthday was yesterday, and I wanted to give her the finished disc tomorrow. This does not seem possible as I am about to give up!

Someone please help! I would be grateful if someone could guide me through what my sequence settings should be and what my export settings should be and how to get the video output to the correct size for the screen.

    I appreciate your help,

    Danielle

Time of export will vary widely, depending on at least these factors

1 - your computer... Processor and the amount of RAM, and is this external drive, USB2 and USB3?

    2. what you change, and effects that you have applied your 718 x 480 video size... is odd, the usual when scanning a VHS tape is 720 x 480, so your video requires 'some much' extra processing

  • First bug Pro: cannot apply default transition during the sequence with keyboard navigation

Hey everybody, it seems that I stumbled upon a very strange bug/problem in first Pro CC 2015.0.2 on OS X 10.10.5.

Please check the 2 screenshots below and then please read my description of this problem down below the screenshots.

    Screen_Shot_2015-10-10_at_6_19_00_PM.png

    Screen_Shot_2015-10-10_at_6_19_19_PM.png

In TWO screenshots, my head is in the EXACT SAME PLACE on the timeline of the sequence.

But the 1st screenshot, I am UNABLE TO SELECT "apply video Transition ' or 'Apply Audio Transition', I am able to use their keyboard shortcuts. This is the bug/problem. I expected to be able to select the items and I expected to be able to use their keyboard shortcuts. But as you can see, they are completely gray.

In the 2nd screenshot, everything works normally... everything as it should. The "apply video Transition ' AND 'Apply Audio Transition' are available to me, just like usual.

So, what is the difference between the 2 screenshots?

Screenshot #1, I started to play the sequence by pressing the space bar, I went through the edit point, and then I stopped the sequence by pressing the space bar again. Then, I pressed up arrow on my keyboard to replace the playhead in the edit point that I was coming. But when I use the keyboard to navigate in the sequence of this way, 2 menu options "apply video Transition ' and 'Apply Audio Transition' are not available! For some reason when you use your keyboard to navigate in your sequence in this way, it doesn't allow you to apply default video or audio default transitions (from the menu or their keyboard shortcuts). First Pro NEED that MANUALLY drag you these transitions of the Panel "Effects".

Capture screen #2, all I did to fix this was CLICK ONCE with my my mouse ANYWHERE IN THE SEQUENCE itself. By clicking in the sequence, suddenly these 2 menu options becomes available to me. All we needed was a little tiny mouse click to fix this bug/problem. But of course, it is the problem... I'm sailing in Adobe Premiere Pro with my keyboard instead of my mouse, so it defeats the purpose of navigate the application with the keyboard if I constantly have to click in order for every single edit point.

PLEASE NOTE that my sequence was ALWAYS 'the active Committee', you can tell by the blue outline around the sequence itself. If this problem is not caused by the sequence is not not the 'active' Panel before attempting to apply these default transitions.

    Any thoughts on this topic?

    Thank you

    Scott

    Hi Scott,.

Hey everybody, it seems that I stumbled upon a very strange bug/problem in first Pro CC 2015.0.2 on OS X 10.10.5.

Please check the 2 screenshots below and then please read my description of this problem down below the screenshots.

    Any thoughts on this topic?

There are some overall unexpected behavior going on here, but I also see some of the things in OS X 10.10.5. Please file bugs here. He does not behave reliably if editing is enabled, however.

One thing you might try puts in place a shortcut to "select the closest point edition like Roll. This should you configured to add a default transition with the keyboard.

However, I found that on Mac OS X, I have to press the command twice to

    1. Place the head of the edition and
    2. to select the edition

This also seems to be a bug. It should move both the playback head and select the edit at the same time. At least it's what I expected. I'm going to give this one as well.

    Sorry for all the trouble.

  • trying to deform stabilize 4 k images and then reduce to 1080 p before exporting it but error "string stabilizer requires clip dimensions to match sequence settings try nesting.

I have a 8 min long 4 k sequence where all the video clips are the same size k 4. I can warp stabilize just fun but when I go on change settings for the sequence to 1080 p and then right click on each clip to scale to the framework I get error "string stabilizer requires clip dimensions to match sequence settings try nesting" the reason why I want to warp stabilize the 4 k images rather than 1080 p images is because with 4 k I have a budget of high culture, I can get away with before I got to the bottom of the scale, string stabilizer settings I use are in the jpg I have attached. I tried visualization of nesting videos online and I can't find what I need. As the now the only viable option I must deform stabilize 4 k and export under 4 k and then open a new project and import the stabilized 4 k images exported and reduce the sequence to 1080 p. I'll do that if I have to, but it will take a lot of time coding without a doubt. Any help is greatly appreciated.warp.jpg

If the images do not match the sequence settings and you want to use the chain, you'll nest.

  • When you create a new project, the "new sequence settings" step doe appears not automatically, what to do?

    Hello

I have a question I make videos of product for a company that they would do that to me in a 16:9 format and in HD. Because they do not know on which channels they want to publish, but it is certain that they will publish on youtube I wanted to do it in the settings HDV and DVCPRO HD 720 p 24 or even 1080 p 24. I bought the license to create online and for some reason that I don't have the option at the beginning when I create a new project to change the settings for the sequence. They do not appear, and then I can not change. Guys do you have any idea what can be done in order to access this setting before the project opens in the end?

I'd appreciate strongly any help in this matter!

    See you soon,.

    Mascha

This option is no longer available in the current versions of first. Once you click OK in the new project dialog box, you can then create some sequences that you like new sequence in the dialog box. You can also return to any order and change them through the sequence settings.
