generate a different sequence for 32 different warehouse...!

We have around 32 different warehouse where the materials are stored...

I need to design a form that I generates a different sequence number for the materials stored in 32 different articles home
ex
name:suhail
pwd:123
warehouse: America
Now after i login i want to generate a  sequene number only for america's ware house say 21001

name:ANDREAS
pwd:345
warehouse:France

for this user the sequence number generted  should be different  say some thing like 31001
can someone help me with this :)

I still prefer to use a "real" sequence Lets assume that your seuqneces are appointed as SEQUENCE_.

Create a stored procedure in the database, as

FUNCTION FK_SEQUENCE_FOR_WAREHOUSE(i_vcWarehouseCode IN VARCHAR2)
RETURN NUMBER IS
  nId NUMBER;
BEGIN
  EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'SELECT SEQUENCE_'||i_vcWarehouseCode||'.NEXTVAL FROM DUAL'
  INTO nId;
  RETURN nId;
END;

  • Generate a binary sequence with the NI USB-6008

    Hi all

    I'm new to LabView and I am trying to generate a binary sequence with a box NI USB-6008. The sequence, I'm currently generate is a counter of 5 bits, i.e. 00000 00001 00010, 00011... 11110, 11111 placing each bit in a different digital IO of the of the 6008 NOR, so that I can use the County as the bits of selection in a decoder/demux.

    I managed to simulate the binary sequence and produce a graphical interface, but I have not found how to generate the sequence of bits with the NI 6008.

    Totally, I'd appreciate any help you could provide. Thank you very much.

    Hi JosephM,

    Good Afternooon and I hope your well today.

    I just tested the code on a 6008 and also released the above code is very complex - I was for some reason any fixed on using Boolean tables.

    Please see the attached code, in LabVIEW 8.6.

    Mind you, I have configured the task as a channel for all lines. i.e. digital single I spent, is the task value should apply to all channels selected in the entry. So if you select only port0/Dev8/$line0 for example, the DAQmx driver will examine the LSB of the digital and work so $line0 must be true from the false. It will NOT update all other channels. So when I select line0:4 - it will update the first 5 lines (bits) in digital. As the code generates a number from 0-32 he emotional generates 00000 to 11111.

    I hope this finds you well and sorry for the first post!

  • generate a digital signal for 6722 or 6221

    Hello

    Thanks first for the help I'm already on this forum.

    Now, I have the following problem:

    I like to generate a digital signal: high for 300µs, low 300 µs, 300µs high, low 300µs, top for about 2 ms.

    I'm looking for a solution how to generate this numerical sequence. At the same time, I will read the information via an analog input (if all goes well, I now have a solution for this problem).

    I tried to find examples, but I failed. For the moment, I was not able to produce any numeric sequence that worked.

    My hardware is 6722 or 6221 - which should be OK with respect to the calendar.

    Thank you

  • DB sequence for the primary key

    Hello

    I have Table of key primary we use DB sequence in the database itself, for example if start a line (using sql client) DB without primary key sequence will do it for me, because of this trigger.

    (1) my doubt is if I generate A EO off this table I need to explicitly set db sequence for this attribute as this or no need to do this sequence bz DB does good for me!

    (new oracle.jbo.server.SequenceImpl("SEQ_NAME",adf.object.getDBTransaction())).getSequenceNumber()

    No, you use a db trigger all what you need to do is to define the type of the attribute DBSeqence. Then the framework will assign a negative value for the PK, which can and will be used as K until you commit the transaction. During this time the bed frame now generated correct sequence of relaxation and rights holders to PK all negative values of the line (and it's child row).

    Don't forget to check DBSequence attributes must have "Refresh on insert" together that it triggers the correct PK is read from the database after insertion.

    Do not use ' (new oracle.jbo.server.SequenceImpl ("SEQ_NAME", adf.object.getDBTransaction ()) .getSequenceNumber () ' attribute is the PK you use triggers to generate the sequence.

  • Generate a unique sequence number

    Explain what you're trying to do, and why won't a sequence.

    create table tb_test (idSeq number (5), number (5) idType, addr varchar2 (256));

    I have an ORA-00937: not an error of a single group group function,

    Right. Given that the subquery uses an aggregate function (MAX), all in the SELECT clause must be an aggregate, a group of expression, a constant, or something that is entirely up to them. In this example, the CASE expression depends on idSeq, which is not an aggregate, not a group by expression (there is no GROUP BY clause) and not a constant.

    In addition, the subquery must have a FROM clause. All queries and subqueries in Oracle require a FROM clause.

    any suggestion?

    Use a sequence. The numbers are not consecutive in each idType, but matter? Chances are, no matter what you do, you will not be able to maintain consecutive numbers within each idType anyway.

    If you do not use a sequence, then you can try:

    INSERT INTO tb_test (idSeq, idType, addr)
    SELECT  1 + NVL ( MAX (id_seq)
                  , 0
              )
    ,       3
    ,     'Main street;
    FROM     tb_test
    WHERE   idType  = 3
    ;

  • How to create a sequence for a particular item in my form of apex

    Hi friends,

    I created a database application, a form that contains a report, and it works very well...

    Among these fields in my form, I need to create a 'sequence' for my 'number' field
    So that whenever I opened the form 'number' should automatically generate as 1 for the first time, 2 for the second time and so on...

    To do this, I created a sequence

  • generate unique sequential IDS for a record to be displayed in HTML

    Hello

    How do you have

    generate unique sequential IDS for a record to be displayed in HTML

    Yes, let me correct my statement. It is not true that an error will be generated if you did not have a trigger in place. You can simply include it directly in the insert statement. Under the following assumptions that a sequence had all ready been created for this table.

    Method 1:

    First, you must create the sequence:

    create sequences emp_no_seq.

    By default, it increments of 1, starting at 0.

    Use its values when data is inserted in the table:

    insert into the emp

    (emp_id, name)

    values

    (emp_no_seq.nexval, "Bill Smith");

    Then, copy the following code works fine and your examples are correct.

    You may need to configure the triggers. Check with your Oracle DBA.

    Method 2:

    create sequence product_seq with increment of 1 1
    /
    create or replace trigger product_insert before insert to start each line
    Select productseq.nextval
    in: new.product_id
    Double;
    end;
    /

    Insert into the product

    (product_id, product_type)

    values

    (productseq.nextval, "Monitor");

    Using the trigger on the DML (data manipulation language) when the product
    table is an insert command of the trigger fires. The trigger can give you more
    rules and specificity around this action and may have so so otherwise the conditions if necessary.

  • generate the debug sequence diagrams in JDev 11.1.1.2.0

    Hi I'm new to JDeveloper.

    How can you generate diagrams of sequence of the debugger? I did some googling pointing me to "Debug with diagram" but I don't see any diagram. I looked at this demo: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/101/viewlets/101/sequencemodelerdebugging_viewlet_swf.html

    After the demo, I also created a file of sequence diagram, but I can't find an option "Connect to Debugger", and the demo used Jdeveloper 10 g. But mine is 11.1.1.2.0.

    The secrets I should know? Thank you!

    It turns out that the feature has been removed in this version of JDeveloper. (we forgot to remove the menu option well - I'm this bug).
    For the record can you tell us what exactly you were designed to do?
    Are you interested in generating a sequence for a specific method diagram? or you really interested in creating a diagram to get the procedure specific debugging?

  • sequencing for each case

    I have a two tables
    I appended a unique index on case_id and trn_id
    SQL> desc fm_move
     Name                          Null?    Type
     -----------------                -------- ------------
     CASE_ID                 NOT NULL NUMBER(9)
    TRN_ID                    NOT NULL NUMBER(9)
     SRC_EQ_NAME       NOT NULL VARCHAR2(40)
     DEST_EQ_NAME      NOT NULL VARCHAR2(40)
     STREAM_NAME                       VARCHAR2(32)
    SQL> desc pm_move
     Name                          Null?    Type
     -----------------                -------- ------------
     CASE_ID                 NOT NULL NUMBER(9)
     SRC_EQ_NAME       NOT NULL VARCHAR2(40)
     DEST_EQ_NAME      NOT NULL VARCHAR2(40)
     STREAM_NAME                       VARCHAR2(32)
    IAM need to insert data block pm_move table periodically
    for example:

    insert into fm_move(case_id,trn_id,src_eq_name,dest_eq_name,stream_name)
    Select case_id, * substitution *, src_eq_name, dest_eq_name, pm_move nom_flux;

    but I need to generate trn_id for fm_move table so that the insert operation. It should come in sequence for each case id,
    If the case_id changes then it must start from 1 and go...

    for example, the data should be like this
    case_id    trn_id
    1             1
    1             2
    1             3
    1            4
    2            1
    2            2
    2             3

    .....
    so, how can I replace this sequence for trn_id in the fm_move table.

      4  from t1;

    8 rows created.

    SQL> select * from t2;

       CASE_ID     TRN_ID
    ---------- ----------
             1          1

    Thus, it works fine here (on 10.2)...

  • Best way to generate the software clock for USB-6501 of Measurement Studio for c# VS2008

    Hi all

    I wonder if there is a better way to generate a clock software for USB-6501 of Measurement Studio for VS2008 in C Sharp?

    I have developed a clock using C Sharp "Thread.Sleep (msecPauseTime)"; and statements to switch digital output high and low. There are a few things I noticed in creating a software clock in this way:

    1. The smallest delay by the Thread.Sleep command time is 1 millisecond (which means higher clock period is 2 msec-500 Hz, not holding not ball account no. 2 below).
    2. Sometimes the delay I see on an oscilloscope is considerably longer than the delay that I specified in the sleep command.

    In my application, I create signals (a clock, a latch enable and data series) to control what an attenuator step through the USB-6501 RF connected to a USB 2.0 on my computer. This particular step RF attenuator can accept clocks with frequencies up to 10 MHz, so I would like to generate a software clock (without having to connect to an external clock to a line of input on the USB-6501) which is closest to this maximum frequency, and I think that the USB2.0 line could handle clock speeds over 500 Hz. Also, I would like to know why the delays that I see on the scope are sometimes longer than the time specified by the Thread.Sleep command. Is it caused by the suspension of the execution of my program processor for something else, as I suspect? Of course, this isn't a big deal, because it does not affect the time as my serial data and pieces change compared to my clock. However, I would like to know why it does this.

    I appreciate your help.

    Jonathan,

    Since the USB-6501 DIO is software programmed, you are at the mercy of the planning of the operating system and won't be able to work reliably with an external clock in the software.

    You can try to set the priority of your thread 'generation of clock' to improve performance, however, because Windows is not a deterministic operating system, there are still no guarantees.  Operating systems are not required to honor the priority of threads.  You can find examples and information on the definition of the priorities of the threads in c# here:
