  Can someone please tell me, how to register several different files with the same name with the revision number using the RIDC API.
  
  For example:
  First of all I will be saved in a file (TestFile.txt) in a content server with revision number 1 using the RIDC API in application of the ADF. Then after awhile, will change the same line (TestFile.txt) check-in and once again. I tried to check the same file several times, however first Check-in correctly in server showing revision 1, so that Check-in same file again, her gives no error message, and also its not reflecting only not to the server. Single file (TestFile.txt) reflecting on the server.

  Yes, use the bridge to rename lots. I would recommend using the text that you want (add a _ at the end) and then add a number to four digits of the sequence.

  I don't think its possible directly with utl_file. But you could use th ejava-class form tom kyte http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:1761435541976545:P11_QUESTION_ID:439619916584 for a list of the files and then treat one after the other with utl_file.

  I use a Mac OS 10.9.5 version and CC Adobe InDesign 10.1.0.71

  I have an InDesign file that I used it to generate a fixed format EPUB. Generally, it was working fine and I was just fixing some strange pieces of type (followed and horizontal scaling seemed to be throwing) and optimize the images to get the best size of file.

  However, with the last update of Indesign, does not seem the same file to generate the Epub files that are the least bit similar to my InDesign files! The text flows everywhere and this is another font, characters run into each other, text boxes are ignored etc.

  I took an old file on my archives, just to make sure that this is nothing that I did. However this file too generates properly - it must be that something caused by the update InDesign last right?

  The document is in small chapters but in its entirety, it's 300 pages, so I really need your help to find out why it works now - I can't just quickly re-make. I have a few pictures, we show the crazy formatting (which is supposed to be of fixed format) the other shows how it looks in InDesign.

  If anyone can help that would be really appreciated!

  I couldn't come up with something that might help. If I find a way I will let you know. Maybe others here may give it a shot.

  Edit: I finally could get just with a few changes. Get rid of the character applied to Text Styles (use None). Use the paragraph Styles rather changing universal Adobe paragraph composer Adobe paragraph composer. I think that the application of character to the whole text styles was the main problem. Also when you export the general/Options choose Convert across the landscape Page. Make a copy of your file and make your changes and see if it improves. This is what it looks like on iBooks.

  We have a requirement of survey and treat multiple files from a FTP location (either treat all or refuse-reject if there is no failure in one of the files).
  Functioning of the FTP Get File (Opaque schema) adapter, we are able to read three different file formats and can get the name of the file (FileName variable use of header).
  
  And we hope to process the contents of the file based on the name of the file we get from the above step.
  
  (1) how to convert the contents of the Opaque file to the specific schema (ex: file1.csv file2.csv and file3.csv with different formats)?
  (2) given that the requirement must treat all files at the same time, can we use correlation in the poller process to route to the simple controller process (an instance of the process controller for all files)?

  If you choose that one branch will be triggered at any time... to process all files in a single instance of u may have to use sync operation in the file adapter for the rest of 2 files of reading and the instance will be triggered by the adpater file first read operation.

  I have a book with thirty chapters, for a total of something like 1100 pages.

  I updated the book, generated table of contents and Index files and need to print in a set of files PDF, a single PDF by chapter.

  But when I do that, all PDFs are badly named. Instead of being named Chapter_1.pdf, Chapter_2.pdf, etc., that they are named BookTitle (Chapter_1.pdf, BookTitle (Chapter_2.pdf, etc.))

  I know that I managed to generate files with the correct names in the past, and I tried all afternoon to figure out how I did it. Nothing in the dialog boxes appears to control this behavior of appellation... What is it? And more importantly, how can I solve this?

  The ' * ' technique is the old, standard way to do it. Note that in FM8, the print dialog contains an additional line that asks you if you want to print the book as separate files or a single file. It is a new feature introduced with FM8 and unfortunately, uses the name of the book as part of the naming convention.

  The JPEG file format is not compatible HP MultiPage, whatever or any other software used to create the file.

  PDF or TIF files are supported by this feature, I'm afraid that you will not be able to perform this function in the form of JPEG file.

  If I understand, you have a list of files that you want to print automatically. Well, for this, you must create a script. Below I show you a simple script.

  Now, assume that you have a d:\print.txt file that contains the names of the files in the folder in c:\users\public\pictures\sample pictures\ with a file name on each line, for example:

  Then you have a file named print.vbs that contains the following script code:

  If you want to print all the files that you specified in your d:\print.txt file, you simply run the print.vbs file.

  Note:
  1. the strFile = "C:\\Users\\Public\\Pictures\\Sample Pictures\\" & strLine line contains the path to your images folder - if you need browse another folder, just edit this string (note that you must keep the double-bar reverse oblique to the reverse slash single-bar place that you normally use!).
  2. the Set objFile = objFS.OpenTextFile ("d:\\print.txt", 1) line contains the path to the file where you list the images to print. Change the path to reflect the actual path of the file.

  Sorry, I don't understand.

  If you do not want commas, then do not add commas.

  You will probably not want quotes, either, in this case, do not add them either.  (If you do not want the quotes, you can concatenate them before calling RPAD.)  In this case, you won't need to NVL, but you must add 2 to the 2nd argument of RPAD, because the quotes will be an extra character 2.)

  What do you want in the header file?  Do you really want a separate header file, rather than a header row (or two) in the same file?

  Post a small example of data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements), and the (formatted) exact result you want from these data.

• Trying to save the file in pdf format and instead its projection upward as we just drop. Half of my files are beautiful and half are not. Why!

  I am trying to save a file in pdf format. It appears in my folder as a file. I have a little need to do so. Registration of the same file with different names. Some work and some aren't.

  All registration documents are called files. What determines its type is the file extension. If it goes to something else especially an extension that the file viewer does not recognize he can just say instead of his type of format file.

  First thing to try is to verify that pdf is the extension (the characters after the last period) if there is no or an extension that you recognize, rename the file, and add the .pdf at the end of the name.

  If the file is a true pdf file it will load now.

  If she does not then of two things is true. The file is corrupted sense that it must be recreated. Or the file belongs to another application that is more installed on your computer.

  Once Finally, scenario, the extension is correct and does not rename but still it says file instead of pdf.

  In this case, like acrobat or Adobe reader software was uninstalled and deleted the associated file.

  Even if the association can manually be fixed which is totally dependent on having a Mac or Windows computer, and you have not mentioned it or I forgot. You can just reinstall the program that you want the associated file. The installer will fix it for you.

  On Windows computers, the file extension may be hidden. If you have a Windows system and don't know how to change extensions to the visible, let us know. I don't know if the Mac have a similar feature.

• Bug when dealing with multiple file input elements?

  I use Apex 4.2 and I have a strange problem.

  Back story:

  I created a page on a standard web server (Apache) that allows a user to select multiple images in there local machine. The form reads a file both a preview of the image and read the exif data for the file.  We enter additional data about each image in a form.  So the flow of the page is: user selects images-> first image appears and the user enters data-> submit data via ajax-> user hits button and following image happens.  The user repeats until all images are made.  I did not the ajax part, but all the other parts work fine on the Apache server.

  The problem:

  I need to recreate this kind of form at the Apex.   If I create an element of the queue multiple entry on a page all the tabs stop working.  They take you to an error page 404 with the message "the requested URL /apex/wwv_flow.accept is not found on this server."  I followed it to whatever this either by calling the apex.submit () javascript function.

  Literally if I do a region of html and the place '< id of entry = "uploadInput" type = "file" name = 'myFiles' multiple >' in the source of the region, the apex.submit () function doesn't work.

  Any thoughts?

  In this case, however, apex does not have a multiple file select option and I don't actually submit the file to the apex for any treatment. The element to browse file apex also appears to force you to store the file which I don't want.

  Control creation (however do you) inside the form element generated by APEX and submit the page (however do you) submit the result of APEX session state changes and page if you plan to do after submit treatment or not.

  In addition, if the use of javascript to generate the element for me after the page load I have no problem. So, how is implemented""in a different part of html to let the js to be placed in the same region?

  Where in the DOM to create control with JavaScript? If it is created within the form element generated by the APEX while happen the 404 error on submit. Is it is created outside the shape, then there is no error. In most cases an HTML region and its content will be inside the APEX form element.

  Either way, I'm also curious why the tabs are calling the apex.submit () function and not using a standard binding as the objects of the navigation and navigation bar.

  Pick me up. This (and the inconsistencies in the standard tabs, calling apex.submit () while level 2 tabs are links) is one of several reasons why I gave up years ago tabs and recommend lists or other options for navigation.
