  Solution: I've worked with Oracle's Support team, and they were able to identify the node that should be removed from the register. Workspace then started and I am able to connect using the connection shared in SmartView... But there seems to be a problem with the rendering of web application in the browser (I still see JS errors); don't know if this is a related question...

• Workspace does not open after successful EMP 11.1.2.3 configuration

  Hello Experts!

  I have successfully deployed EMP 11.1.2.3 on VMware Workstation 10 with Windows Server 2008 R2 and configured the latter also without warnings or error messages.

  My VMware Workstation has 12 GB of memory and network card (automatic) connected by a bridge with the LAN setting: "IPv4 address assigned by DHCP, IPv6 active."

  In the configuration of the EMP Web server I have "Embedded WebLogic HTTP Server" - everything is configured correctly, but when I try to open the http://localhost:19000/workspace/index.jsp of my VM workstation Internet Explorer, I get the error "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". When I click on the Diagnostics button, I get the following message: "the remote resource or device does not accept the connection" or "the remote resource or the device is not configured to accept the connection on port 19000". I checked that WebLogic Server is running, but still I can't open workspace. The Windows hosts file has record 127.0.0.1 localhost < computer name >, I also tried to use 127.0.0.1 or the name of the computer instead of "localhost" in the URL for the workspace - remains the same error.

  Help, please! Any advice will be much appreciated!

  Try to launch from start-> all programs-> Oracle EPM-> -> Foundation-> Shared Services url and check the port number.

  I added a normal text of the elements of design to a presentation. The text is normally displayed in "Preview in browser", but when I run the workspace, it does not appear the text.

  I wonder if it is related to the presentations of the purpose of BPM multilingual ability.

  You could:
  1. right mouse click on the project tab in the project browser.
  2. click on "project Preferences".
  3. click on 'languages '.

  You see several languages? Is English (or whatever language you are using inside the Studio) by default?

  When you log in the workspace, you could check the language you use (Journal of-> click on "Settings" in the upper right)-> tab 'View' is selected, is the language you have chosen by default in the selected Studio?

• Workspaces does not not in IllustratorCC

  I'm new to Illustrator (2014.1.1 - 18.1.1), signed until yesterday may 8, so please forgive any transgressions I can commit. I have an iMac running the Mavericks 10.9.5 with 32 GB of ram.

  That out of the way, I can't save my palette gradients, workspaces.

  I have implemented a range of show gradients, then I create the new workspace and name it TEST - if I switch between workspaces, my gradients appear when I select TEST as it should, but when I quit Illustrator and reboot, the TEST is still there in the workspaces, but the gradients palette , I created has disappeared - all other TEST Windows are visible, but not my window of Gradients.

  Gradients are such a pain Setup I like, I want to be able to save this palette in my workspace.

  Any ideas as to what is happening and how to fix it.

  When you add a gradient using the gradient panel menu, the gradient will be added to the swatches Panel.

  When you open the Swatch Library, the gradients will not autoamtically added to the swatches Panel.

  You must read the instructions for the handling of samples and libraries.

  If you want samples to add to your new document profile, you must add them to the Swatches palette, for example by dragging from the library to the swatches Panel.

  The name of the new document profile must describe what it does, and of course, it must contain the color space.

  If you want to automatically open a specific library, whenever you launch Illustrator, select 'Persistent' in the Panel menu.

• Workspace does not match the screen

  First is not appropriate on the monitor - the workspace is too big and the upper bar is missing. The problem is not resolved when restarting or changing the workspace templates. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  You might need a larger display.  I recommend a monitor 1080 p 24 "as a minimum.

  Using Premiere Pro on nothing less... will be frustrating.

  I have developed a BPM process in 11.1.1.5 JDev and deployed their BPM Suite 11.1.1.5 on Windows Server 2003. I found the following, and I'd like to know your opinion:
  
  1. the audit trail of the process in BPM 11 g Workspace shows the activities of the process, but the sub-process call activity appears as just a single activity and you can not see the domestic activities of the sub-process... making it impossible to follow the sub-process.
  
  2. in the path of the Instance of the EM, you can follow the activities of subprocess, but they appear wrong; different names, different types (ex: interactive activity shown as service call)... etc...
  
  
  Are these known issues? This is the expected behavior? -What are some configuration that I missed?

  1. I checked with our engineering and as the expansion team sub-process activity, it is scheduled to be released in 12 g. Right now, it's a feature of ongoing work are addressed by our developers.

• Color workspace does not

  Hello

  I have the range of creative cloud and I had some problems with the first color workspace. Every time I have to move to the color workspace, I just get a white screen.

  I have updated first, I tried to uninstall and reinstall and now I don't know what to do.

  So the problem is apparently solved itself, I guess it was just a bug or something, but I just opened first and color working space was back to normal. Thanks for the help guys!

  I'm having serious problems, get the coming newly installed v11.1.2.3.0 workspace page because it is always with a white page with no content whatsoever (see photo), regardless the following URL being launched in a MS IE or Firefox (with Remote XUL Manager) browser session:

  I did some research, and then applied a number of recommendations in various positions in this area and other forums... to no avail. The same behavior is shown as shown in the attached photo.

  
  On server side, all Services related to Oracle Windows are running without any problem. On the Oracle WebLogic Server, what follows is servers are displayed:

  -AdminServer (Admin) race and healthy listening on port 7001 with no grouping;

  -EPMServer0 healthy running and listening on port 9000 in the EPMServer cluster on machine GAZSYDHYP03;

  -FoundationServices0 race and healthy listening on port 28080 in the FoundationServices cluster on machine GAZSYDHYP03;

  -Planning0 healthy running and listening on port 7001 in the cluster of planning on the GAZSYDHYP02 machine.

  -Planning of the depenses1 healthy running and listening on port 7001 in the cluster of planning on the GAZSYDHYP03 machine.

  
  Regarding OSH, I've set up to point to a shared location that is accessible to all the servers in the //GAZSYDHYP01/SharedFiles/Data/OHS directory (see also "console ~ OHS ~ 1.log content file ' and 'mod_wl_ohs.conf' sections below).

  
  What is interesting is that the EPM System Diagnostic Utility on the server GAZSYDHYP03 running, produces inconsistent results: sometimes and no changes whatsoever, I'll have green results in all areas while other times, I'll have most of the results in the red.

  
  I thought that OHS has been crashing then restarting on its own so I followed the recommendations included in Doc-ID 1533185.1 , Doc-ID 1345355.1 ... but to no avail, even after restarting the servers.

  Support staff, so I have been happy for answers about what could be the root of the causes of this behavior of the workspace so I thought I would try my luck here in case someone has already solved this problem OR is able to come back to something special from the foregoing.

  All,

  It has been a few days since my original post and thanks to a very professional Support Oracle, it has now been resolved by using what you have me approaches\steps undocumented (see order below). I strongly recommend talking to Oracle Support before running the following steps:

  1. on 3 servers, stop all services of Windows Oracle-related;

  2. on 3 servers, open a DOS window as an administrator and remove all Oracle Windows services by using the command "sc delete "; confirm that Windows services all related to Oracle had been removed by updating the 'Services' dialog box open by clicking Start > administrative tools > Services;

  3. on 3 servers, remove the C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects directory and all subdirectories underlying;

  4 using the application of MS SQL Server Management Studio, log on to the database server then drop used databases; Re-create the databases again according to the specifications (i.e., in accordance with the section "Preparation of a database" Oracle EPM Installation & Configuration Manual);

  5. on the FNDHOST1 server, run the EPM system configurator and install groups of applications at the same time (for example, Foundation Hyperion then EPMA and then Reporting and analysis then EN WA, etc.), and then deploy.

  6. on the ESSHOST1, execution of the EPM system Configurator Server and install Essbase before you deploy and start the Essbase Windows service;

  7. on the PLANHOST1 server, run the EPM system configurator and install planning prior to deployment and the Windows schedule service startup;

  8. on the FNDHOST1 server, start all Windows services in the correct sequence when searching in relevant to each Wndows Service log files if the Windows Service in question has been started correctly. Start the service Windows in the sequence; Once all the Services Windows will have been started correctly and confirmed as such of their relevant log files, run the Oracle WebLogic Server administration console and check if all the Applications Web in Java have been started correctly;

  9. on 3 servers, launch the EPM System diagnosis application and confirm that it's all green, all areas;

  10. in a session of MS IE browser on the client computer, launch the page in the workspace by using the URL http://gazsydhyp03.mycomp.com.au:19000/workspace/index.jsp ... and voila.

  As mentioned above, the above steps are rather radical approach and it would be better to talk to a knowledgeable person to support Oracle before performing the steps listed in question.

• Workspace selection drop down box in windows does not appear on the screen

  I watched the tutorials on PS CS6 and they speak by selecting PS workspace Selection menu that appears at the top far right of the page, in the section bar tools. It has elements such as 'essentials' "new in CS 6" "Photography", "new workspace" etc. "."  I was wondering if this is a related issue of windows, or did I miss something?  How can I activate this or this does not work in windows?

  I have already reset the setting to factory several times and that didn't work.

  May depend on the width of your window of Photoshop UI.  Here I'm showing Photoshop running is two different size windows.  We have what you want in the other window close Photoshop do the poster not in Photoshop UI... Also its in the options bar tools must also be visible

  

• Color profile does not match the RGB workspace

  When I tell LightRoom to edit my photo in Photoshop CC2015 I get a message saying that the document... has an embedded color profile that does not match the current RGB workspace"

  It gives me the choice of these three options, and I usually choose the Middle "convert the colors in the document to the workspace.

  This mismatch between Lightroom and Photoshop is intentional, or y at - it an option or another that I have not set correctly?

  You must set the color management policies to keep profiles incorporated under Edit > color settings.

  Images from LR in the ProPhoto color space and must be kept that way.

  What you do now is throw information, when the large ProPhoto space is converted at least Adobe RGB or sRGB even smaller.
