Is there a way to retrieve all email addresses of all the accounts that are configured on the device?

    I have actually 3 addresses of e-mail on the go in Mail:

    -New address iCloud (that I can send and receive mail, but I can't find any info account for it after it is created).

    -Old address hotmail.co.uk (which I use daily).

    -For my Apple ID I use outlook.com. This e-mail address appears in my account, but I use it for mail. The confusing is that my new address iCloud does not appear like this outlook.com you do.

    I have been using my hotmail address to send/receive messages, but I want to get rid of it and use my new address to iCloud.

    I click on the following: Preferences > account information > Alias > This shows my address hotmail.co.uk (not the new iCloud email address), and clicking on modify the Alias takes me to account, then + and - an email address, then I add the new address to iCloud and then it freezes!  When my wife does it to see how it should work, by clicking on edit aliases, it is automatically taken on its iCloud site where she can change all his own.

    In the accounts, I have 2 boxes to the left.  One for "hotmail.co.uk" and one for "iCloud", but iCloud show my e-mail address Apple ID that ends in: outlook.com

    Only POP email accounts can use a global Inbox.

    Quit Thunderbird to access the server mode "offline."
    Click the blue screen two located lower left status bar.
    It will be two black screen offline icon.

    All files out of all email pop email accounts and put them in folders in the "local folders".
    Delete the emails you want.
    Empty Junk and deleted mail folders (for example: right click on the junk mail folder - chute)
    Right-click on each folder and select 'Compact' or ' file > Compact folders

    When pop email account files are completely empty and compact
    "Tools" > "Account settings" > "Server settings" for the pop email account
    Click on the button "Advanced".
    Select: "Inbox for the account of different" and "global Inbox (local folders).
    Click on 'OK '.

    Now, you must check all of the following points to ensure they point to the correct location. Choose so 'Copies and files '.
    "Tools" > "Account settings" > "Copies & folders" for pop e-mail account
    Look at the records of destination for 'Envoy', 'Projects' and 'Templates '.
    Make sure that the messages of each will be stored in your "Local folders" folder locations

    then check Junk - click on "Parameters of Junk" check that the folder selected for junk e-mail messages is the one you want to use in the "local folders".

    Do the same for other POP email accounts

    Do not go back online - you don't need to download anything.
    Restart Thunderbird immediately.

    When it restarts, it should restart in mode online or maybe ask you.
    If you restart offline, it is not important, just trade back after reboot:
    Click on the screen icon black two located lower left status bar.
    It will be two icon blue screen when it is online.

    This should remove the e-mail account in the left pane of the folder and redirect the mail on behalf of local folders.

    Later, you can go via file | New | Existing account Mail and add another.

    Or, you have an e-mail with "Mozella" or Mozilla. Mozilla is not an e-mail provider.
    You do not have an account with your e-mail provider, and you access this account via Mozilla Thunderbird.

    Move all the messages you want to keep your local folders account. You can create subfolders under "Local folders" to replicate a folder hierarchy, you can have for the account to be deleted.

    Manually create folders, do not try to move entire folders.
    Then copy the messages in a folder at a time.
    Do this by selecting the messages can be completely copied to the source folder. Then a selected message - copy, right-click and choose the destination folder.
    Once the messages have been copied successfully, you can delete them in the source folder.
    Once all messages to be kept have been copied to local folders, safely, you can delete the account.

    I tried to write a procedure to http://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com.au/2013/03/importing-csv-files.html some time ago here. but the thing is if you change the columns in the CSV file in a spreadsheet, first match that Thunderbird expected (both in name and order), then you don't need to play with this terrible UI that aligns with the name of the field name of the field.

    It is in this dialogue if you have the family name next to the e-mail address of the family name is considered to be the email address.

    The file that stores the parameters of your filter is called «msgFilterRules.dat» Each account has its own "msgFilterRules.dat" file, which is stored in the 'Local' directory for the account in your profile. The Local Directory is specified at the bottom of the tools-> account settings-> settings of the server, just by the Browse button. Filters for local folders are stored in the directory Mail\Local folders in the profile.

    I doubt that something has been hacked. In all probability, a spammer got your email address and use it as a fake from: address and a bit silly can also use it as a To: address.

    Displaying the source code of the message (using ctrl + u) can reveal something about the real origin of the message. While he won't say who sent him (and the real sender can be some innocent users that the machine has been compromised), it may be reassuring that the message is from a foreign location, and not an account or that you are responsible for the machine.
