Get JAAS using SQL authentication information.

Hi all

I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.3. I was wondering if there is a way to retrieve certain information JAAS to my application using a SQL query. For example, if I had multiple users and each user has permission to add a new line in the database through my application. Is there a way as the concept of a TIMESTAMP to know which user has inserted a certain rank at a date accurate?

Thank you

Mohamed.

Mohammed,

You can look in the columns of history. Example http://adftraining.com/how-to-use-history-columns-in-oracle-adf-for-mini-auditing

    I would use SQL Developer (v1.5) to connect to an instance of SQL Server 2005 uses windows authentication. I downloaded jtdw - 1.2.jar and set its e path as a preference in the TOOLS\Preferences Database\Third Party JDBC Driver dialog box.

    I was able to connect to SQL Server 2005 successfully if I use SQL authentication and provide a user_id and password.

    It is my preference to use windows for connection authentication. However, when I try to connect, I get the following error:

  • Developer SQL 4.1.2 uses Windows authentication to connect to SQL Server

    I'm using SQL Developer 4.1.2 and tries to connect to SQL Server through Windows authentication.  If I use SQL Server authentication, everything works so the jTDS driver appears to be installed and working properly (I use jTDS 1.2).  When I switch to Windows authentication, I get the error

    Status: Failure-Test failed: IO error: failure of the SSO: library Native SSPI has not loaded. Check the system java.library.path property.

    Of course, I googled the error and came up with dozens of people asking the same question and is told to move the ntlmauth.dll from the \SSO directory to the jTDS directory in various other directories.  That seems to work for others so for the last few hours, I was copying the DLL in each directory that I can find someone on the internet suggesting without success (I do restart SQL Developer each time).  In the Directory SQL Developer, I tried

    Developer c:\Oracle SQL 4.1.2.20.64\sqldeveloper

    Developer c:\Oracle SQL 4.1.2.20.64\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin

    Developer c:\Oracle SQL 4.1.2.20.64\sqldeveloper\jdk\jre\bin

    On the off chance that something was still making reference to a directory of a SQL Developer previous install, I put it in the same directories in the front THAT SQL Developer installed on this machine.  On the theory that she was using the FMV of the machine rather than that I downloaded and installed with SQL Developer, I advanced and dropped the DLL in the directory \bin for each installation of Java, that I could find on the system.

    c:\Program Files\Java\jrd1.8.0_45\bin

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_45\bin

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_60\bin

    Still no luck.  SQL Developer, I went to help. Everything | Properties and checked that the first way to java.library.path is what I expected and where I dropped the ntlmauth.dll first.  I even put it in c:\windows and c:\windows\system32 just to be sure.

    Java.Library.PathC:\Oracle SQL Developer 4.1.2.20.64\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin. C:\WINDOWS\Sun\Java\bin; C:\Windows\System32; C:\WINDOWS;

    Despite the DLL just about everywhere that I guess I would need to have it, I still get the same error.  I must be missing something obvious.  But at this point I was looking at it so long that I just can't see it.

    I use SQL Developer 4.1.2 and tries to connect to SQL Server through Windows authentication using jTDS 1.2

    Not sure if this has anything to do with your problem, but according to jTDS - SQL Server and Sybase JDBC driver / newsand since SQL Developer 4.1.x requires Java 8, '' you should stick only to jTDS 1.2 If you need to use a version of Java before Java 7 '' . Perhaps using a version 1.3.x jTDS driver might help.

    Gateway for ODBC 10 g or 11g is supported only with SQL Server, not Windows authentication authentication.

    If your SQL Server is configured only for authentication on Windows, you have no other way to change the configuration of the SQL Server to support mixed Mode (Windows authentication and SQL Server authentication).

    Of course, you'll want to change the types of data, etc. as needed.

    I assumed that the XML can contain several "" sections and that each section can contain several entries.

    Thus the XMLTABLE aliasing as 'x' gives information of XML, and supplies the data associated with the XMLTABLE with alias 'y' which gets the multiple authors, which itself section of the XMLTABLE with alias 'z' for each of the article_item.

    CDATA stuff are handled automatically by SQLX (XML functionality integrated into Oracle's SQL)

  • Question to load data using sql loader in staging table, and then in the main tables!

    If the problem I encounter is here for loading data in the link table that I check if DHCP is present in the subntwk table, then continue to another mistake of the newspaper. If CMTS then left create link to another error in the newspaper.

    Now that we can here multiple CMTS are associated with unique DHCP.

    So here in the table links to create the link, but for the last iteration of the loop, where I get separated by commas separate CMTS table stg_link_data it gives me log as not found CMTS.

    for example

    DHCP-1-1-1. WNLB-CMTS-01-1,WNLB-CMTS-02-2

    Here, I guess to link the dhcp-1-1-1 with balancing-CMTS-01-1 and wnlb-CMTS-02-2

    Theses all the data present in the subntwk table, but still it gives me journal wnlb-CMTS-02-2 could not be FOUND, but we have already loaded into the subntwk table.

    same thing is happening with all the CMTS table stg_link_data who are in the last (I think here you got what I'm trying to explain).

    But when I run the SQL scripts in the SQL Developer separately then it inserts all valid links in the table of links.

    Here, she should create 9 lines in the table of links, whereas now he creates only 5 rows.

    I use COMMIT in my script also but it only does not help me.

    Run these scripts in your machine let me know if you also get the same behavior I get.

    and please give me a solution I tried many thing from yesterday, but it's always the same.

    It is the table of link log

    link is already present: dhcp-1-1-1_TO_wnlb-cmts-01-1

    NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-02-2

    link is already present: dhcp-1-1-2_TO_wnlb-cmts-03-3
    link is already present: dhcp-1-1-2_TO_wnlb-cmts-04-4

    NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-5

    NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-01-1

    NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-8
    NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-6
    NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-0

    NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-03-3

    link is already present: dhcp-1-1-5_TO_wnlb-cmts-02-2
    link is already present: dhcp-1-1-5_TO_wnlb-cmts-04-4

    NOT FOUND CMTS for device to create the link: wnlb-CMTS-05-7

    Device not found: wnlb-dhcp-1-13

    IF NEED MORE INFORMATION PLEASE LET ME KNOW

    Thank you

    I felt later in the night that during the loading in the staging table using UNIX machine he created the new line for each line. That is why the last CMTS is not found, for this I use the UNIX 2 BACK conversion and it starts to work perfectly.

    It was the dos2unix error!

    Thank you all for your interest and I may learn new things, as I have almost 10 months of experience in (PLSQL, SQL)

  • ADF security with SQL authentication

    Hello

    I'm new in the adf and weblogic. I use weblogic built-in jdev 12 c 12.1.2.

    I set up the security in my weblogic using this blog.

    http://adfgouravtkiet.blogspot.com/2012/07/Configuring-ADF-security-using-database.html

    It is configured successfully. But after you configure when I restart my weblogic server, it will fail to start. This is stack strace.

  • DATA_TYPE Oracle (using SQL) questions

    I have a Client Server application that I created using a server for MS - SQL (MS - SQL Server 2008 R2 Express) database.

    Since MS - SQL Server has wide range and number of DATA_TYPEs, I chose to devote some of these DATA_TYPEs to the application-specific processing (mainly MONEY and DATA_TYPES BOOLEAN).

    In addition, I decided that in the Client Application that the general treatment of a particular field would be determined by the corresponding DATA_TYPE stored in the database.

    The value of the DATA_TYPE for a particular field within the SQL Server database and can be determined by querying:

    "select DATA_TYPE from INFORMATION_SCHEMA. Columns
    "where ((Column_name = «my_Field») and (Table_Name = 'myTable')).

    I also extract/use other DATA_TYPE information as necessary or appropriate.

    With this information the Client Application can systematically treated differently may be a MONEY (a DATA_TYPE in MS - SQL Server) a decimal or one BIGINT (two other DATA_TYPEs in MS - SQL Server). I have to create the field with the correct DATA_TYPE in the database, but after that I don't have to worry about this.
    .
    .
    .
    Now, I'm moving a database to Oracle (Oracle Database Express Edition 11 g Release 2). And I would have the same (or similar) feature, as described above.

    Oracle has less DATA_TYPES is more difficult to bind an application-specific-data type to a database-Oracle-DATA_TYPE-specific. There are simply not as many "sacrifice" to my specific processing of the application. I don't want to treat each field DIGITAL like 'le-apps-money-type.'

    With Oracle can I associate 'the-apps-money-type', let's say, a NUMERIC (9,2), then the Client Application will process all NUMERIC (9.2) as 'the-apps-money-type '.

    The Client Application queries the Oracle database for DATA_TYPE DATA_PRECISION, DATA_SCALE to make this determination.

    But this approach doesn't appeal to me, suppose I have other NUMERIC fields (9,2) who are not of the 'the-apps-money-type '. How can I set and then later determine, from the Oracle backend, if the NUMERIC field (9.2) is intended to be used as 'the-apps-money-type' or just a regular number?

    Is it possible I can create a kind of "sub DATA_TYPE" in Oracle?

    I have considered this in the COMMENT field associated with particular field. Then a query for this comment when I did DIGITAL DATA_TYPEs. But the COMMENTS field seems not to turn all_tab_columns and user_tab_columns.

    (With Oracle SQL Developer, you can create/edit/delete user created tables/fields. COMMENTS can be added to the individual fields in a table - this are the COMMENTS that I am referring above).
    .
    .
    .
    What I would do, and a more direct approach for me, would be in some way create a user defined DATA_TYPE is simply:
    (1) a user defined DATA_TYPE name (such as MY_MONEY_TYPE),
    (2) associated with a built-in Oracle data type (such as NUMERIC (9.2).)

    Then when the client application queries user_tab_columns the field may be treated appropriately. If I can't do it, maybe there is somewhere else I may be put and subsequently ask for such information.

    What are the most direct ways to implement the functionality described above?

    You can create an object type and certainly use it in your table definition

    SQL> create type my_money_type as object (
      2    val number(9,2)
      3  );
      4  /

    Type created.

    SQL> create table foo (
      2    col1 number primary key,
      3    col2 my_money_type
      4  );

    Table created.

    SQL> insert into foo values( 1, my_money_type(1.23) );

    1 row created.

    SQL> select col1, col2 from foo;

       COL1
    -------
    COL2(VAL)
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
       1.00
    MY_MONEY_TYPE(1.23)

    This usually isn't a particularly good way to design an application, however. Types of objects are very useful in the treatment of PL/SQL, but their conservation in a table is usually a pain - you must constantly to call the constructor of the object and the getter methods (I did not worth defining here) assuming that you want to return the number of 1.23 rather than an instance of MY_MONEY_TYPE.

  • SQL authentication provider - create table script

    Hi all!
    I would use the SQL provider for my Web application authentication. I can't find the script to create tables of users/roles used by the provider.
    Can you suggest me a link where I can download?
    Thank you
    Frank

    Hi Frank,.

    Configure the SQL authenticator:

    Start Oracle XE DB and open propmt SQL to run commands below:

    CREATE TABLE USERS)
    U_NAME VARCHAR (200) NOT NULL,
    U_PASSWORD VARCHAR (50) NOT NULL,
    U_DESCRIPTION VARCHAR (1000))
    ;
    ALTER TABLE USERS
    ADD CONSTRAINT PK_USERS
    PRIMARY KEY (U_NAME)
    ;
    CREATE TABLE GROUPS)
    G_NAME VARCHAR (200) NOT NULL,
    G_DESCRIPTION VARCHAR (1000) NULL)
    ;
    ALTER TABLE GROUPS
    ADD CONSTRAINT PK_GROUPS
    PRIMARY KEY (G_NAME)
    ;
    CREATE TABLE GROUPMEMBERS)
    G_NAME VARCHAR (200) NOT NULL,
    G_MEMBER VARCHAR (200) NOT NULL)
    ;
    ALTER TABLE GROUPMEMBERS
    ADD CONSTRAINT PK_GROUPMEMS
    (PRIMARY KEY)
    G_NAME,
    G_MEMBER
    )
    ;
    ALTER TABLE GROUPMEMBERS
    ADD CONSTRAINT FK1_GROUPMEMBERS
    FOREIGN KEY (G_NAME)
    REFERENCE (G_NAME) GROUPS
    ON DELETE CASCADE

    Generally, customers can add users directly in DB with help commands below:

    insert into USERS (U_NAME, U_PASSWORD, U_DESCRIPTION) values ('system', 'weblogic', 'user admin');
    insert into GROUPS (G_NAME, G_DESCRIPTION) values ('Administrators', 'Administrators');
    insert into values('Administrators','system') GROUPMEMBERS (G_NAME, G_MEMBER);

    But in this case is not encrypted password then, either you can add users via the console or WLST script to be stored in encrypted form.

    We had performed above commands just to check that the user that is stored directly in the DB gets properly authenticated or not configured SQL authenticator as below

    Now start weblogic admin server and console access to create the data source by the navigation Services-> JDBC-> data sources

    Create the data source named SqlDS

    JNDI: SqlDS

    Type of DB: Oracle

    : DB driver Oracle Thin XA

    Name of the data base: XE

    DB host:

    Port: 1521

    DB user:

    DB password:

    Even the rest of the configuration and click test Configuration. If its success click on next and it targets to "AdminServer.

    Click Finish and activate chnages

    Now navigate to the areas of security-> myrealm-> suppliers

    Click new and supply the names of SqlAuthenticator and select Type of SQLAuthenticator

    Now click on newly created provider and make the indicator of control as "sufficient".

    Go to the specific page of provider:

    1. check on cleartext passwords enabled.

    2. provide a data name source: SqlDS

    Keep the rest of the parameters it is and save this configuration. It will ask you to restart the management server.

    Now, again navigate areas of security-myrealm-> users & groups >

    User created directly in the DB control is listed in the table with SqlAuthenticator, once its list, go ahead and add users as below

    B. Cretae users using the administration console:

    Sign in to the administration console

    Access areas of security-myrealm-> users & groups >

    Click the users tab and try to create the new user

    User name:

    Select authentication provider: SqlAuthenticator

    User password:

    Once the table DB check creating user, this user added with password encypted musted

    C. create multiple users using WLST script:

    File Navigave of $DOMAIN_HOME/bin and run the file setDomainEnv as below:

    UNIX:. ./setDomainEnv.sh (don't forget to put two points before /)

    Windows: setDomainEnv.cmd

    Now, change script depending on your environment below and run as suggested in step 3:

    Connect('weblogic','weblogic123','t3://localhost:7001')
    Edit()
    startEdit(-1,-1,'false')
    serverConfig()
    CD('/SecurityConfiguration/base_domain/Realms/MYREALM/AuthenticationProviders')
    ls()
    CD ('SqlAuthenticator')
    cmo.createUser ('vaishali', 'weblogic123', 'SQLuser')

    cmo.createUser ('pavashe', 'weblogic123', 'SQLuser')
    Edit()
    stopEdit('y')

    NOTE: Change username, password, and ADMIN_URL in 1st line.

    Replace the domain name "base_domain" by your domain online no.: 5

    Authenticator name change SQL online no: 6 by your authenticator name

    Next lines create users. You need to add however to users, you need to create programmatically.

    Syntax: cmo.createUser ('user_name', 'user_password', 'user_description')

    Now, to save these commands in a file with the extension .py and run as below:

    # java weblogic. WLST create_user.py

    If your script does not have to try running each command separately. For this session WLST beginning as below:

    # java weblogic. WLST

    Now run above commands in the script. You will be able to debug if something went wrong during execution of script.

  • CRM using SQL database in an environment of small business often inaccessible with the following error message

    Hello

    This is my first time on this forum so bear with my ignorance!  I'll expose the background of my setup and then explain the error.

    We have a small business with a server running SBS2011 and PC running Windows 8 and 8.1 connected to the server in a domain environment.

    We use a CRM product called Emu Tall that uses SQL Server 2008 R2 on the server for the database and the PC run a local application that connects to this database.

    On a daily basis, but completely randomly and sometimes several times a day, a user will try and open the application on a PC and get the following error message.

    Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.SqlEnum, Version = 10.0.0.0, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = 89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the specified file.

    At first, I thought it must be a matter of waiting time as it seemed to happen every morning, but I've proved since that it occurs at any time of the day and is apparently unrelated to amount of users or idle time or something like that.

    Here's another oddity that hopefully sheds some light on it. If I go to the server and open the CRM application on the server, it works very well since it is only the PC that have the connection problem.  In addition, as soon as I connected to the server of any PC can connect immediately (until it happens again later in the day).  I don't need to stay connected to the server, connect one time and close the session and he "fixed" it for a few hours for all PC users.

    I contacted the CRM vendor, and they are completely confused and have no idea what to do.

    We are trolling along at the moment with me opening a session on the server for launch launch whenever a user receives the error message but it is far from satisfactory.

    A final observation is that it does not always.  It used to work fine.  The problem began just two months ago and seems to coincide with the increase in our user from 5 to 12 users license even if the CRM provider swear that it is nothing to do with the license.  They may agree; I don't know enough to argue the point.

    Any help will be appreciated! I'm sure it will be a simple solution and someone there will know why and the answer immediately but is elusive at this time.

  • Local use and authentication AD with ACS 5.6

    I have an ACS 5.6 unit configured to use AD authentication for my default network access and rules. It works very well.

    I tried to implement some features, put them in a group and give only locally defined ACS to users access to these devices.

    Problem, after you have created the local accounts on ACS creates a group of local identity, and trying to authenticate with a camera, I always get "object not found in the identity store.

    Is there a way to have the hybrid authentication like that? How do we?

    Hi Colin,

    One thing that comes to mind is "sequence of identity store. Ensure that you have "internal users" listed in there otherwise that demand would never be mapped against the internal users.

    I also want to double check the source of identity under default device admin or any service that you created. Ensure that internal users.

    Take a look at the document below for more details on the identity store sequence.

  • Building xml in oracle without unnecessary tags using sql

    I wanted to build XML in oracle using sql, I found a way to construction using sql functions after a little research, I am completely unaware of any XML. My query is

    SELECT XMLELEMENT("orderwave",
      XMLAGG
    (XMLELEMENT("order_header",

    -- XMLATTRIBUTES(t2.l_name AS "order_number"),
      XMLFOREST
    (
      nvl
    (t2.l_name,' ') as "order_number",

    (
      SELECT XMLAGG
    (XMLELEMENT("order_line",
      XMLFOREST
    ( nvl(t1.l_name,' ') AS "label_type",
      nvl
    (t1.l_num,0) AS "lpn",
      nvl
    (t1.l_num,0) AS "sku"

    )

    )

    )
      FROM test_table t1
      WHERE UPPER
    (t1.record_type)='D'

    ) AS sap

    )

    )

    )

    ) AS HEADER
      FROM test_table t2
      WHERE UPPER
    (t2.record_type) ='H';

    My problem is for using xmlforest, I had to use alias name 'sap' in my query to work and to get xml output. If i am using that, I am getting an unwanted tag 'SAP' around my data which I have to later cut it, which is unacceptable. Is there a way I can get rid of this extra 'SAP' tag without having to cut. The output data is
