Get my F4580 to connect to my network that is not broadcasting its SSID
I am a user of Apple's Mac, I try to connect my Deskjet F4580 to connect to my wireless network.
I use a Belkin Pre N1 Wireless router, which is configured to not broadcast the SSID is.
I tried to enter the SSID manually on the Setup for the F4580, but he can't see it. I don't want to start broadcasting the SSID because of security concerns.
How do both speaking to another.
Thanks in advance
Arbroathsmokie
Broadcast your SSID. Not to broadcast is not a security measure. Not at all. It is free on the internet that can read your SSID that you stream or not. Read more here.
Use WPA or WPA2 (not WEP, which can also be broken with freeware) encryption with a password strong and enjoy more security and less hassle you have now.

Original title: Internet wireless connection
I use a PC & a cable modem wireless to connect to the Internet. When I start the computer, sometimes the icon in the taskbar indicates that it is connected to a network that is not identified. I wait a few minutes until what he says at last he is identified & seems to work very well. The only other issue I see is once in a while after it is connected, I noticed that it is to identify the network connection, but I see no problem to surf the web. This could be a looming problem with the modem, or is it something else? Should I consider it as my modem is still under warranty? ARRIS / Motorola wants to charge a diagnostic fee is why I write on this forum first.
Thank you

Just sync or backup and they will go to the iTunes library.

How can I restart my iPhone 5 c? I tried to connect to iTunes and that has not worked. Then I tried now the home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously, but that no longer works. My charger works. What should I do now?
Looks like a hardware problem (with your home button). You should probably make an appointment with the genius of Apple on an Apple store near you. This link can help:

Original title: trayapp
When I open the computer message appears, the component you are trying to use is on a network that is not available. Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder that contains the installation packagr 'TrayApp.msi' in the box below.
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS5216\setup\TrayApp\
When I click ok the message this way that c:\users\user\appdata\local\temp\7zs5216\setup\trayapp\ is not found. Verfy that you have access to this location and try again or try to find the 'TrayApp.msi' in installing a package file from which you can install the product'TrayApp.
When I try to cancel the warning message, is that an installation package for the TrayApp product is not found. Again the installation again using a valid copy of the 'TrayApp of installation' package. I already uninstalled all HP products, but this message is still bothering me, how to solve this problem?Hey Tama,

Can not get Macbook pro to connect to my network
I was unable to get a macbook pro to connect to my network. I am running a router with SRX400 G wireless broadband. I have 5 pc access without problem; However the macbook will not. I use WEP 128bits encryption, and while the mac detects the network, when I type the password, it is still not valid (the same password used on the pc without any problem).
Since you are using WEP you enter the password. You must enter the key 1 of the router in your wireless settings.

PS I uninstalled free config
Hello
As much as I know ConfigFree has no influence on the WLAN functionality because this utility is created for monitoring and not for configuration. When you want to use the WLAN connection do not forget that the wireless network adapter is correctly activated. If the connection is untied time trying to WLAN driver update.

A computer on the network that is not seen by the other
I have a fairly standard home network: the 'main' computer, Vista, has the router connected to it; the second computer is a laptop, connected via the wireless network and running Windows 7. a printer that prints the laptop directly on the network (that is, do not use file & sharing from the main computer through a printer USB connection).
The problem is this: when I look at the main computer network, he does not see the laptop (he does not see the printer, either). Conversely, when I look at the network of the laptop, he sees everything. So if I want to copy a file to the master computer to Notepad, for example, I have to put the file in the Public of the main computer directory, go to Notepad and pull it. I can't write on directory Public of the laptop. Small problem, easily bypassed, but a problem however - especially when the main computer used to see the laptop, and I don't remember anything I've done.
When I looked at the properties of the C: drive of the computer laptop last night, he said "not shared" (how did that happen?), so I turned on sharing and takes the default value - which was the network path, \c \\Ernie-PC [computer name] [colon No.]. I was expecting the colon.
And time under "Network and sharing files folder" is said C:\ is shared, after "network path: \\Ernie-pc\c, ' the 'Share' button is grayed.
What are the things I need to check?
The steps described in these articles should help:
Sharing files and printers with different versions of Windows
Networking of computers running different Windows versions Boulder computer Maven

WRT54G will connect to the network but will not connect to internet
Guys, I installed an older Linksys CM100 cable modem and when I did I lost the connection to the internet using the WRT54G Router. I can connect fine net when I go to right fromt the modem cable to the pc. I can use my home network very well. I did a firmware upgrade, does not. I'm losing my mind. It worked fine before the new cable modem. Does make sense to anyone? BTW, I can't connect to the internet via wired or wireless connections and ping www.google.com gives 100% packet loss. Ditto for a ping to 192.168.1.100 (cable modem) when the router is connected.
Dear God please help me
-Jacob
Thus, because no one here was able to offer all the help, I called tech support and was very surprised. I was able to get a tech immediately and without going through the 1 million on the phone buttons. The service is in India, but I could communicate well enough with him, even though I usually have people of understanding of handful who speak English as a second language. The issue that I had was that the default IP of the modem cable (192.168.1.100) and ip address of the router (192.168.1.1) were too similar. Apparently, the fact that the 3rd number 1 for both series was the cause of the problem. We changed the IP address of the router to 192.168.5.1, power cycling it and unfortunately it worked.

Restarted my WRT160N, now my laptop connects to my network but will not connect to internet
I forgot my password to the original network so I restarted my WiFi router, now my computer reconizes my home wireless network and connects (accepted the new password and all), but when I open my browser, it cannot connect to the internet. My internet connection still works when I plug my laptop directly into my cable modem, and my laptop says that I'm connected to my wireless network, so I don't know what the problem is here.
I was pulling out my hair for the last few hours trying to find a way to solve this problem, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

OfficeJet j6480 all-in-one Windows 8
My printer configuration report show that the printer is connected to my home network. My Control Center shows that my HP printe (my only printer) is listed as the default printer. When I open it, it shows a document in the queue, and offline. When I click on 'offline' the document in queue is considered and when I click on "Printer" in this window, the drop-down list displays the default printer, but 'use printer offline' isn't not verified. Bottom line, it's that I can't print. Help much appreciated woutd.
I found someone with a similar problem and a simple solution. I deleted my printer in the "devices" list and reinstalled
It worked. I suspect that your suggestion about the IP was probably on the brand, it had not occurred to me.
Thanks for the quick response.

How can I get Firefox to allow connections secured with sites that I trust?
I've just updated to the latest version of Firefox (18.0.1) and I find that I can access is no longer at least half of the sites that I have used, such as Gmail and Facebook. Most of the sites I'll now do not even look right, they just display text, no user interface. Even as I type this upward, there are only text. I tried to use the clean tool from Firefox to find what plugins I had installed, and he gave me the same message "this connection is not approved. Most of the sites I have to allow me to make an exception, but Gmail is not, any more than the Firefox plugin page. I have used Firefox for years, but this is the first time I've ever had a problem like that.
Make sure that you are not Firefox running in (permanent) private browsing mode.
- Tools > Options > Privacy: use the custom settings for history
- Uncheck the box: [] "always use the navigation mode private.
Check also through the context menu that you are not opening the pages in a frame.
