  I have a HP compaq dc7900 ultra-slim desktop, he was running xp so I decided to upgrade to windows 7.

  I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

  The problem with windows update, it takes too long and can't find updates.

  I did a little research and tried a few things but none of this has helped.

  I tried also auto troubleshooting difficulty of the microsoft web site, it seems to me that corrected problems, but who have not corrected the problem, but it gave me an error once (error Code 8024001).

  If anyone can help that would be nice I ' ve wasted at least 6 hours trying to fix it with no results.
