'the Setup installs devices' worked for two days now...
recently reformat the hard drive and I'm trying to reinstall windows by using the oem disks that I created after the purchase of this pc. Installation happens to the devices screen and sits there. the system seems to work because I see the "heartbeat" on the screen. The first time that this has happened, I turn it off after two days, and after some research, I discovered that I had left my camera dock connected. The second time, I ran the installation I still have the same problem. It is on this screen yesterday at 06:00. I'm going to run until I get some kind of answer about it.
Clem:
After many frustrating attempts, I replaced my hard drive. It was defective. New hard drive and installed it the first time. Hope this helps you.

recently impossible to implement the automatic installation of updates for Windows 7
* Back in July 2015, I was able to get updates for my computer which uses Windows 7 Home Premium.
* In July 2015, in the center of the Action, that's what he said:
Windows Update On
Windows automatically installs updates as soon as they are available.
* Today, January 15, 2016, I thought that I would see if there was the necessary updates as I had not seen any activity since July. In the center of maintenance that the formulation has changed, it is said now
Currently unguarded Windows Update
Enable messages on Windows Update
* When I click 'Activate messages on Windows Update', a box appears at the top:
Windows Update was disabled by your system administrator.
Turn off the messages on Windows Update
* When I click on turn off messages on Windows Update. the box at the top goes.
* I tried all afternoon know where to go to find the place where the system administrator (that's me) disabled the update of Windows, so I can enable / turn on. NOTE: I don't know until it on computers knowingly do something like that. I removed some Trojan virus in the past.Any suggestions on what I need to do to get "Windows install updates as soon as they become available" again? Thanks for your help :)

How can I disable the automatic installation of updates for Vista?
HP Pavilion dv2 laptop... Vista
I use my phone sparingly & almost exclusively in public presentations. I have recently (in response to a popup) changed the setting so that Windows updates are installed automatically. Since then I have had 2 thoughts, because I don't want that Windows updates (reboots, etc.) could interfere with some presentation planned (or current).
Where can I change this setting?
Thank you

I already did your post, but I cant stand dvd always turn to windows xp? and my driver working I just installed win xp months ago
Hi the prey,
· What is the brand and model of the computer?
You should check the settings of the computer BIOS (Basic Input\Output System) to boot from the CD/DVD. Check the manual or the support of the computer Web site for the same.
Note: Be careful when you change the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it is possible to change a setting that can prevent your computer from starting properly.
Run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to see if your computer is compatible to install Windows 7.

Why is my computer running constantly indexing
When I try to close it keeps giving me the message: installation of updates 1 of 2. I left this race for twenty four hours and he never finished. I have to cut the power to shut down. When I turn it back on, it is constantly indexing.
Hi Gary,.
· Have you checked if there is updates failed?
Check to see if the following is useful.
Step 1: search for the installation error code.
To do this, follow these steps:
a. click Start, click all programsand then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.
b. on the Windows Update Web site or on the Microsoft Update Web site, click view update history. A window opens that displays the updates that have been installed or that have failed to install on the computer.
(c) in the State of this window column, find the update failed to install and then click on the red X. A new window opens that displays the installation error code.
d. Note the error number. You will have to type or paste the error number in a search box to the next step.
Step 2: Run the next Fixit tool and then install updates.

Downloaded the update for Firefox, and now I can't get rid of AOL.
Downloaded the update for Firefox, and now I can't get rid of AOL. I tried to remove anything that is related to AOL and when restart Firefox... There are once again AOL. I even reinstalled Firefox... He was there again.
Where AOL is displayed - homepage?
I think the first thing to check is if you have any modules related to AOL. These can replace your regular settings. You can view and disable all extensions essential or unknown here:
Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category
Note that in most cases, you should use the link to restart Firefox to actually disable the extension that you have chosen to disable.
Then, to fix your homepage, try the procedure described in this article: How to set the home page.
If there is a problem with your suppliers of research from Google for AOL, try this extension:

Any improvement?
