Get Windows 2000 CRL on a router

I'm setting up devices with VPN site-to-site using Microsoft Windows 2000 Certificate Services to provide the certificates.

I had connections to the top and running successfully; However, when you download the CRL, I find that it does not contain certificates revoked - where the VPN remain active.

If someone has encountered similar problems, or have suggestions for a solution?

Thank you, Matt

What version of the code you run? You must run 12.2 T code for this. I got this job in 12.2.8T. Does not work in 12.0 and 12.1. Also, have you tried the new certificates revoked on your Publisher. The default value of microsoft is one week. This means that, even if you have revoked certs, the crl list wont be automatically updated, as simple as it sounds. So until the new CRL is published on the server, you will get a new crl list updated on the router. You can change the default on the server, or you can manually publish a new crl on the server list. Publishing manually the new CRL, from your Certificate Manager select revoked certificates, and right-click on it. Should be able to select Publish. Not to have sitting here in front of me but I'm sure it's his property.

  • Tecra M9 - Windows 2000 ACPI

I am trying to install Windows 2000 on a Tecra M9 (model PTM90).

I slipstreamed successfully Intel Matrix Storage Controller drivers in my Windows 2000 installation disc, but the Installer Blue-screens in trying to detect the ACPI BIOS. At this point, the stop message tells me I can start Windows installation and press F7 to avoid the ACPI control. I tried and managed to get Windows 2000 is installed, but power management has failed. The laptop detects even when he was running on battery - not very helpful!

I tried updating to the latest version of the BIOS (1.60), but Windows 2000 install always fails.

Moreover, most of the hardware works under Windows 2000, even if installers on the Toshiba site claim to be for XP.

Is anyone know how make ACPI work properly on this laptop under Windows 2000?

    Cheers, Giles.

    Hello

Uh, you're trying to install what? Why?

Why are you trying to install an NT-based OS that is as old as your machine, what is VISTA compatible (which doesn't mean you should install Vista :)))
Gets an old, incompatible and not supported operating system which makes the machine slow (because the socket driver is really not good) and does not work properly.

If you need advice: remove it and work with a newer operating system. And if you need the computer as a SERVER, use Linux. But avoid the Win2000. :)

  • Installation of the windows 2000 satellite M40X chipset

I currently own a M40X which has been pre-installed with Windows XP Home Edition, but due to the nature of our business, I now need to install Windows 2000 on the machine. Drivers XP for audio, video and wireless network etc all work fine on 2000, but unfortunately the chipset drivers na? t seem to work at all.
I was wondering if there is anywhere I could get Windows 2000 compatible drivers like the USB ports and some other components are now rendered useless.

Any comments or help is greatly appreciated
    Thanking you in advance

    Hello

The chipset driver utility made by Intel, and I guess that chipset from the Intel Web site for W2k driver should also work on the Satellite M40X.

    I recommend this site:
    http://downloadfinder.Intel.com/scripts-DF-external/Support_Intel.aspx#

You should check what chipset you have and then to install the right software.

PS: I'm not 100% sure but I guess there must be chipset type 'Mobile Intel 910GML Express Chipset with CeleronM or Mobile Intel Express Chipset 915GM' Mobile Intel 915 PM Express Chipset

  • I am YOA 70 and have used windows 2000 XP Prof. from the arch, too late to change. Not worried about support, this is the best OS ever. I have a copy of old 180-day evaluation. Can I use it or get another copy.

What I can tell, the problem is simple... The solution cannot be more simple!

"Can I use it or get another copy."

After the expiry of 180 days would be illegal to continue using it without a valid license, even using worarounds or reinstalling the operating system.

The windows 2000 and Windows XP are different products, but the answer is the same, they are abandoned products would be very difficult to buy a license. You can search the remaining stocks, would be not easy but possible to buy it.

  • RVL200 and Windows 2000 Server - can not access network resources via VPN

I am new to the VPN, and I feel I'm missing something very basic in my configuration. I just installed a RVL200 as the gateway for my corporate network router.  The network includes a Windows 2000 Server that acts as server DHCP and several PC and a printer.  I was able to "establish a SSL VPN tunnel" home connection to the router, but after recording in everything I see is the screen of virtual Passage - one with lock icons - otherwise I am inside the router.  The statement shows that I am connected.  Once the tunnel is established, what am I supposed to do to get computers to the computers on my network?  I can ping all computers on the network using their LAN address.  I'm supposed to see a choice of network resources to get to this point?  I put the router as a trusted site in the server and even tried to disable all firewalls, but I see that the VPN screen with icons.  I don't know how to proceed from here because I don't know what I'm supposed to see.  Thanks for any help that you can give to a newbie!

The SSL connection is only for the VPN router. To access the computer, you can use Windows Remote Desktop connection. So that you can access to remote computers on the network, or you could look for 3 third-party software for remote access

  • Configuration of Windows 2000 IAS RADIUS

I have a problem that I think some people have probably met. I am on Windows 2000 server and setup all my routers as customer to authenticate on my Radius server. Some trial and error, I discovered that the client IP address must be the source address of the packet. It is usually the most of our routers WAN interface.

However, we have a lot of routers with multiple links to the site that hosts the Radius server. This means that packages can come out through three interfaces of the router to get to the Radius server. Because the server is looking for the address of one of the interfaces, my authentication fails.

It is a problem because we lack OSPF and we cost equal to our Radius server location paths. Some lines are lines of failover as well. I guess my question is how can I circumvent add all IP addresses for each router that has multiple connections to the server at my client list in IAS? Or is there a way around it at all?

    In global configuration Mode, try

    radius IP source-interface command.

What driver Toshiba is this related to?

    Hello

I studied a bit and it seems that this file should be placed in the system32 folder.
In my opinion, this file is part of Toshiba common modules.
