Gif help

Hello

I'm doing a very large gif consisting of a mixture of photos, drawings and typography. All drawings and the type of leave to find and very smooth, but the photos are extremely low in quality. I understand that this is due to having fewer available colors gifs, but I was wondering if there is any way I could improve the quality of the pictures in the final gif?

Here is an example of the gif that I am developing. Please pay attention there is offensive language involved.

    It's strange. Did you go to that location on your computer to see if there is a video there.

    Also, can you export your HTML pages and see if there is something in the code that references the videos?

  • FM2015 - suddenly, FM will display all .png, jpg or gif images! Help?

    Ran v13.0.1.385 when it arrived today and have loaded updated to 13.0.4.532 where it still happens.

    (NOTE: what happens on my main PC (Windows 7).) I have a laptop (Windows 8) that is also running 13.0.1.385 and the problem is * not * be there.)

    Worked on a few pounds, when suddenly, one of the documents shows the dialog box "can not display imported graphics" and showed a gray box. Usually, this happens when too much is running (in the past, at least) and FM would get cranky.

    Closed everything, rebooted, started to frame, open book, same problem - some images were the gray boxes (size of the anchored frame), some are black rectangles (size of the original image in the frame), and some have shown that the upper part of the image and the rest was black.

    Has taken a screenshot of the sample, stored in different formats, then imported the images into my doc to see what will happen:

    • .gif - displays the top of page 1/5 of the image, then the rest is pink
    • .jpg - shows the top of page 1/10 of the image, and then the rest is black
    • .PNG - displays the top of page 1/20 on image, then the rest is black
    • .bmp - shows very well
    • .PDF - shows very well
    • . TIF - poster very well
    • .PSD - shows very well
    • . VSD - poster very well

    The properties of the object for each image are correct (they are all in the same folder).

    If I double-click the offensive images, they appear well in Viewer photos Windows (.jpg/.png) or IE (.gif).

    If I change with an application (for example, Photoshop), they open fine for publishing.

    If I print the document in pdf format, the images will be displayed as indicated above (gif/jpg/png appear as boxes of pink/black), all others appear very well.

    Help? PLEASE?

    :-)

    Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    Sidenote: Since these are the only types of image using the default Windows Photo Viewer watch a program, I thought I'd pass the default settings of Photoshop, to keep everything "in family". Cannot change the default, stays in the Windows Photo Viewer.

    OTHER STUPID SOFTWARE!

    I downloaded a software yesterday that I needed for the work, do not remember what it was. He installed an application (without telling me) who was supposed to be a malware scanner. (Just saw him in "Uninstall or change a program").

    Uninstalled. (Don't remember the name, sorry.)

    In the framework, and display images fine now. PDF generates very well now.

    Sorry for the grief.

    SOLUTION to THE PROBLEM: what frame suddenly begins to * not * do what he did very well, check if new applications have been installed and remove them to see if they are the cause of the problem.

  • NEED HELP - use in Animate gif files

    NEED HELP

    Reduce the Flash to animated GiF file file - reduce 65 KB without any loss of quality? How can I reduce a flash file for this standard of the industry?

    If you make an animated gif which must be less than 65 k, you need to use Photoshop, not animate and keep it under 5 total frames.  It won't be a complex animation with transitions and tweens; It would be fair to turn several different images/pictures.  Take a look at this tutorial I posted above to get an idea of the kind of thing you could do in a few images.

    For HTML5 Canvas in CC host, the source file is still a Fla, but published files will be HTML, Javascript, and images.  Do not build a HTML5 banner unless the plan of the record/media for what you work on him to permit.

    If HTML5 is allowed, you should know how ads are served (through Sizmek, DCM, Adwords, Flashtalking, etc.).  Each adserving company has slightly different requirements in terms of how files should be put in place and how clickTags should be implemented, so I can not give you any other advice, unless you know how your ads are served.

  • I need help resizing gifs in CC?

    good so I normally make gifs for tumblr and tumblr dimensions are 245px (large), so I want to do my gifs square, 245 x 245 px would be my size gif resized. I don't know if this has to do with the fact that my gifs are originally rectangular, but when I try to make the length and the width times 245 px, photoshop becomes length 121 px. so I can't do them same. I checked it to "adjust to custom", but she always does. Help, please!

    For square image reduce the short side to the value you need. Then with the crop tool to crop the image for both sides are equal.

    In the image size dialog box, you can unlock the link between the width and height and force the square, however. This will stretch or a direction that distorts the image of squash. However if you create a new image, so would be nice.

  • SWF to gif issues... URGENT, PLEASE HELP!

    Hey guys!

    Well, I have this problem and I can't find a solution and a client is eager this back now...

    So I provided a html wrapper and .swf file. With the demand that he could get a gif to put on the site. So I have no thought, no problem! I tried:

    stick to a scene in flash... It wouldn't recognize/open the file.

    And using a few different types of converters 'swf into gif. They also seem to recognize/open the file.

    So I tried using a different .swf file that I have. But all the same issues that happened.

    Can anyone suggest why this is happening, and if there is a solution?

    I am running flash cc. I can't tell you what version the .swf is made in I'm afraid

    Thanks for your help!

    Google around a SWF to video (MOV / AVI / etc) converter. Take the film he creates in any video software you have and you export a GIF animation sequence.

  • Problems/help with animated GIF export

    I am an experienced user of Photoshop.  I've recently upgraded to CS5 (Windows) and have sought to produce animated GIFS.

    After reading some tutorials on the subject, I was able to:

    Create a PSD with some images of jpg in the form of layers;

    Move the layers in the animation window;

    The cycle time and optimize the animation window. and,

    The levels of peripheral dialogue Web backup to create the GIF file.

    Everything seems to be normal throughout this process.  However, the exported GIF file appears as a grey frame dark when I open it in Internet Explorer, or download it on my site of images.

    Does anyone else know this type of problem?

    Thank you

    On 5K bytes, I'd say you're full, nothing there.

    I can't help thinking that there could be problems with the settings that you selected in the dialog box peripheral & Web...  Could you capture your screen in this dialog box and show what you got there?

    You see a blank image like the one you posted above in the optimized tab?

  • help please: Transparent Gif and Png

    I have my name written in black text on a transparent background.  I tried to save it as a transparent gif or png using Save for devices and Matt: No.  But no matter what I try, it seems that good on a white background.  Otherwise, it has the effect of halo rough around the black letters.  There must be something that I miss, and I would greatly appreciate some advice.  It can't be that hard to have just a word appears as black text no matter what color it is.  Can anyone help?

    On the other hand, I see similar questions responded a lot with advice as "just change the matte color to match the background color," Yes, I know it works.  But which defeats the purpose of transparency.  If I need my name appear on 10 different pages with 10 different horizons, so I shouldn't need to create 10 different images.  That's what transparency is supposed to relieve, Yes?

    You save it as a PNG 24 bit?

    A layer of black or dark with the signature as a transparency mask should work.  Assuming you have the dark signature on a white background.

    1. use the rectangle and copy the signature.

    2 - new file to create a new image to the size of the copied signature (default Clipboard).

    3. layer - new fill layer - solid, color make it black.

    4. the layer will give a default layer mask.

    5. in the palette layers, the color channel fill 1 current mask.

    6. paste in your signature.

    7 image - Adjustments - invert the colors (so black is white and white is black).

    8 remove the background layer.

    9 save as a 24-bit PNG.

    You should be able to come up with something like this partially transparent PNG:

  • Help to create a gif animated for a navigation bar!

    Hey guys, I'm very new to Fireworks and dreamweave and I encounter a problem that makes my head spin! I need to create a simple animated .gif to a navigation bar (which will be published in dreamweaver). The navigation bar are as follows: http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~baronson/ITI320/Exercise2/functionality.html. Essentially, all that happens is I create this animated picture and in dreamweaver, when I create the navigation bar of AP, I updated the mouseover this image. My problem is that, compared to the image mouseover of the website ( http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~baronson/ITI320/Exercise2/images/navi/audience_OVER.gif ) animated my gif has several layers and States, where, as its only has a single layer. I can't seem to find a way to include both text and gif image and incorporate them into the same layer.

    A follow-up to the issue after finding the way to integrate them both in the same State, I should catch every piece of my animated gif for the individual State, that I want it be applied?

    Any help/pointer to where the information would be greatly appreciated. I have read through the manuals and watched a lot of videos of Babbage, but were not able to understand this. Thank you!

    Your gif didn't need to have several layers, but he needs to have several States. To save you a lot of confusion, first create animated gifs, and then export them. Create your navigation bar in the usual way, with simple images, rolloveres or swap. The navigation bar on export. Rename the gifs animated with the names of most of the State of the navigation bar images and then remove (or mone to another folder) more images of the State navigation bar. Move the gif animations in the navigation bar image file. Preview in the browser. The animated gifs should have replaced the original state of the buttons.

  • Help: Table of contradictory Tween with clip background (.gif)

    First of all, I'm new (within 2 months) to the programming of OOC. I am developing a flash game pretty basic class objective style space shooter in AS3, which started as a hobby and progresses quickly in a piece for my portfolio. It initially contained only 1 layer with 6 keyframes for each step in the swf (loading screen, main menu, game controls, etc.), but my friend encouraged me to add a background layer to make it more presentable.

    That's when I fell on my current number. I finished these steps, adding my background:

    New background layer

    Drag below game layer in the timeline panel

    Insert the new symbol, to movieclip

    Import in the library

    Bitmap .gif slide layer

    Symbol of drag on the background layer

    The background layer appears behind all my objects, buttons and symbols on each key frame, but when I test my swf, the background is black (solid I put for my game layer).

    I tweeked the script in the first frame of my layer game by "Noting" on the tweenIn(); and stop(); orders and surprisingly the .gif background appears, but it is not animate through the following frames of the .gif. If I unnote stop(); I get the same results. However, if I only unnote tweenIn(); then again the question and the background layer is invisible. I don't get errors or warnings in compiler or output errors.

    These results of my troubleshooting led me to believe that my tweenIn function is not written correctly or does not play very well with other layers on the chassis. Here's my current script. I took the liberty, noting each line, so there is no confusion in the understanding of my logic.

                     private function tweenIn() {
                               // make tweens a new array
                               tweens = new Array();
                               // loop through all on screen content
                               for (var i=0; i<numChildren; i++) {
                                         // make a reference to the current object
                                         var ob = getChildAt(i);
                                         // make a tween for the current object
                                         var tw:Tween = new Tween(ob,                     // the object to tween
                                                                                      "x",                                  // the property to tween
                                                                                      Regular.easeInOut,                    // the easing function to use
                                                                                      ob.x - stage.stageWidth*2,            // starting value
                                                                                      ob.x,                                 // end value
                                                                                      15+(i*30))                            // the time to take
                                         // add the tween to the list of tweens
                                         tweens.push(tw);
                               }
                     }

    My friend told me it might be the table, but I couldn't find another way to use my Tween without using a table.

    I would really appreciate anyone could offer their expertice, advice or words of encouragement.

    Thank you kindly,

    Alex

    This isn't the implication of your first message.  That is to say, if you put in comment

    /*

      var tw:Tween = new Tween(ob,                     // the object to tween
                                                                                      "x",                                  // the property to tween
                                                                                      Regular.easeInOut,                    // the easing function to use
                                                                                      ob.x - stage.stageWidth*2,            // starting value
                                                                                      ob.x,                                 // end value
                                                                                      15+(i*30))                            // the time to take
                                         // add the tween to the list of tweens
                                         tweens.push(tw);

    */

    and your background, this interpolation IS the question.

  • Help with animated gif background when opened in Photoshop Extended c33

    I often work with Animated Gif

    the addition of doggies etc. to the top layer.

    I'm having a problem with an Animated Gif (the transparent) background when registering on the web and open in Photoshop cs3 extended it change the white background automatically?  (which is not what I want)  I would like to know how to keep the same format with transparency or change to black because it is the background on my site... don't know why it is converted to white in photoshop or how to change... Thank you advance!

    While white is not used for another part of your chart, it will work fine. When you save the file as a gif file, it will allow you to specify the color that should be transparent.
