Gift basket from idle. No deleted documents are in. What should I do?
Whenever I go to the trash, that nothing is in it.
Whenever I go to the trash, that nothing is in it.
If you see error messages associated with the trash, please post them completely, without paraphrasing.
First try the obvious things:
1. right click on the Recycle Bin and select Properties. Make sure that the box "do not move files to the Recycle Bin. Delete the files when they are immediately deleted"is NOT checked.
2. download, install, update and run a full scan with each of these free tools. Do not run the scans at the same time. They can take a long time, so start a scan and then go for a non computer chore for awhile.

Message from windows vista - "Firefox has stopped working", what should I do?
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but for some reason, it won't let me
Hello
You can try to download the latest version, right click on the installer and run it as an administrator. If the problem persists, then you can consider the function of Reset Firefox via help (Alt + H) > troubleshooting information.
(To return to the previous mode, you were using, close the new profile (i.e. Quit Firefox), start Firefox and choose the default user profile.) Alors_que Profile Manager is open, you can also remove the reset your profile (the one containing the random numbers) or the old profile, as appropriate). If the reset is correct, it would be a good idea to delete the old profile as otherwise it would be left intact with the previous data before deletion.

One or more PDF documents are opened in a web browser - message
Hello
I have a new laptop series L and its great. The only foible I can think is a message that I get when I try to stop. There is a message box that says: "one or more PDF documents are opened in a web browser. If you are now leaving the adobe reader software, these documents will be closed. Are you sure you want to exit? ».
The thing is I don't have any PDF or web browsers open at the time! Can you help me please?
Thank you, Mark.Hi Mark
Believe me it s no big deal the same thing happens from time to time on my laptop
Usually, PDF files can be read with the Adobe Acrobat reader software. This service application runs in the context of the BONE and this message can be displays if the Adobe Acrobat reader software can not close the background automatically processI solved that little problem by deleting the software acrobat reader from the system. After restarting again I reinstalled it again
Now, the message does not appear and everything works like a dream ;)

After Windows Recovery virus, all programs, folders, and documents are hidden
Hey there. I think I just cleaned my old machine to windows XP from a virus apparently known as Windows Recovery using software Malwarebytes' Anti Malware. I have two questions:
1. How can I be sure that I deleted everything about the virus?
2. the virus seems to have converted all my documents, files and programs to the State that is 'hidden '. Here is what happened: at his first connection after removing all the stuff found virus, all items in my office were missing from the office, and no program was included in the area of all programs on the start menu. I did a few fishermen and found that all of my programs and documents are in fact still on the computer, but they just seem to be have a "hidden" attribute So I changed my settings folder options to "show the hidden files and folders" and now I see all my old files on my desktop and files, but they are all gray. If I right click on any file or folder, then click Properties, it still shows that specific file as 'hidden '. This attribute at this level then really UN-hides compensation file. How can I apply this to all files and folders instead of each individually? In addition, I still don't see any programs in the field of all programs on the start menu. I must go to c:\Program Files and navigate so (unless I have a shortcut on the desktop or the start menu). No idea how to get my programs listed in the programs area all over again?
Hi Lea4Stas,
Try the method of register: listed @ http://www.softwaretipsandtricks.com/forum/windows-xp/37769-unable-unhide-see-hidden-folders.html
You must copy under settings (in) - in Notepad and click Save as "restore.reg" in quotes.

do not delete documents in the trash until...
do not remove documents recycle until the document library is closed. This has only recently begun to happen. It seems that I click on a document to send to the Recycle Bin (before he moved immediately to the trash) but it always comes is now in the document library. I have experimented and found that if I close the document library, the question I want to remove then shows in the trash. Before this weird ball, when I deleted a doc to the basket he settled there immediately... What's not
At least part of your problem may be a lack of understanding of what a "library". In Windows 7, there is no specific place for a library. It is a virtual collection of files from any number of locations. If you can't open or close a library, only one file that is referenced in it.
It is a common misunderstanding, so don't feel not alone.

Original title: start-up have recorded message in like profile temporay did that one account user, all my photos and documents are not here even if I ask picasa for research he finds all my photos
Windows 7 Home Edition
Hi Pete Wiz.
Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:
Method 1: This problem occurs if the current user profile has been accidentally deleted from the system.
Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information on how to back up and restore the registry
a. log in the system by using an administrative user account other than the user account that is experiencing the problem.
b. back up the data in the folder of the current user profile if the profile folder still exists and then delete the profile folder. By default, the profile is located in the following location:
%SystemDrive%\Users\UserName
c. click Start, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
d. Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
e. under the ProfileList subkey, delete the subkey named SID.bak.
Note: SID is a placeholder for the security identifier (SID) of the user account that is experiencing the problem. The SID.bak subkey must contain a ProfileImagePath registry entry that points to the folder of the original profile of the user account that is experiencing the problem.
f. exit the registry editor.
g. log off the system.
h. Journal to log on to the system again.
Here is an article:
A temporary profile is loaded after you connect to a Windows Vista-based system
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947242/en-us
Note: The article also applies to Windows 7.
Method 2: I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.
The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Important: During the scan of the hard drive if bad sectors are found, the scanner tries to repair this sector, all available on which data may be lost.
Let us know if that helps.

I have windows 8 is installed in my desktop pc
I want to move my account to GO to THE LOCAL because of user setting I m tried to synchronize my app Mail for new emails and other stuff his watch still unavailable then, opting for the account local affect current files and other documents are stored in the pc at this moment before I spend.Hello
Passage of the account Microsoft local account will not affect your personal documents saved on the computer.
Reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2782145
It would be useful that you could provide more information on the problem faced with synchronization.
-What is the exact error you get when synchronization Mail app and other apps?
-Do you use all parameters of proxy to access the internet?
-Remember to make changes before the show?
-What anti-virus software is installed on the computer?
If you encounter the problem of synchronization with all applications, then I ran the http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/4/F24D0C03-4181-4E5B-A23B-5C3A6B5974E3/apps.diagcab Apps store
Navigate through the steps mentioned in http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/what-troubleshoot-problems-app
Check if you have any proxy enabled. If so, then delete it.
a. open Internet Explorer.
b. click on tools and select Internet Options.
c. click on connections.
d. click on LAN settings.
e. remove the check mark next to proxy server.
f. click OK and check if you are able to synchronize emails.
If none of the steps work, try to remove the account from the messaging application and add it again and check.
Go through http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows-8/mail-app-faq
Hope this information is useful. Let us know if you have any questions.

permanently deleted photos are REALLY gone?
I accidentally deleted permanently 'iPhoto events' album of my iPhone > iCloud > Mac. I went from 8 000 to 2,000 photos. I've restored some of them of an old backup from time machine (March, 2013). My iCloud account clearly reflects the deletion. I was told that the hard drive data recovery options were futile, because data have been obliterated. Ditto for the Flash to the iPhone. I have renounced all forms of recovery of data a week ago, but now this question keeps nagging me: maybe I missed something? My precious photos are REALLY gone?
What do you think average them permanently deleted, do you mean you deleted and then removed again from the recently deleted album.
The iPhone path > iCloud > Mac doesn't mean anything to me, I'm afraid, but if the pictures have been synchronized on your Mac and you use time machine on the Mac, photos should be recoverable.

Have a document in the queue of the printer which is "delete", but did not finish the process. Can't print other documents thereby. How can I remove the delete document? Thank you
Hello
From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R. In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.
Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.
Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.
Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.
Kind regards

Beware of the refund policy for the electronic funding/e-gift card from HP
I recently bought a dv6t and looked forward to happen. This computer arrived damaged and I had to send it back immediately. The exchange of treatment was so painful and frustrating it is doubtful I will be never buy another product from HP. I used a combination of HP credit card ($1000 credit limit) and electronic gift card to make the purchase. The reason why I used a gift card was my total purchase exceeded the credit limit of $1000 and HP would not take a credit card (credit or debit) to complete the transaction. I was told that my ONLY recourse was to buy and ask for a gift card from HP. After arrival with the computer screen damage I decided that I wanted a full refund because the audio was also very poor and I didn't like how this computer sounded at all. I was told that I was obliged to complete the transaction with the gift voucher is NOT REFUNDABLE! I felt that I was being held hostage as my gift card was over $500. I think it's a totally fraudulent way of doing business and for my part will think very hard never to do business with HP again. It's a shame because I've always liked the HP product and I have been a loyal customer for many years, having spent thousands of dollars at HP. I was ashamed of HP for the way they dealt with my problem. I was told that I could still use the e-gift card that I was "stuck" that now for other HP products. Why would I do this after getting scammed by buying the e-gift card in the first place. I finally finished and re - placed an order for a 2nd laptop, but this will probably be my last relationship with HP. They are a great company to deal with until something is not, then the customer may be left holding the bag or in this case, the e-gift card!
My messages are in my humble opinion based on 30 years of technical industry experience.
If my opinion helped, please respond with a KUDOS. If this is not the case then please rephrase the question, my opinion could change (smiles). When the hearing hoof beats in the distance, first think horses, not zebras.HP DISCLAIMS ANY form of additional funding other than a gift card from HP when the purchase involves HP E-financing credit card. In other words, if I use my credit card of HP and I have enough line of credit for a transaction, the ONLY other form of funding that they will pay the difference is a gift card from HP. No Visa, no Master Card, not American Express, etc... Gift card ONLY. Believe me, I've exhausted this issue in detail. The only combination accepted when you use your credit card of HP is a HP combination of gift cards / credit card. You can combine nothing else than a gift card with their E-financing (credit card of HP). No more credit cards not authorized HP gift card/cheque ONLY. It was my point worldwide and is the reason why I think it's a way to get the customer to 'use' a gift card.

I deleted a large file containing about 60 gigs of my hard drive by sending to the trash and empty the collector, because the car was full. All files were gone, my computer does not recognize free space and won't let me not defragment the hard drive or save any new data on the hard drive, saying that he is too full. What should I do?
Either you have an application that saves you from yourself (Norton used to have what we call the "Norton Protected Recycle Bin" which has given a second chance to restore files) or if you have something else take place.
Did you restart after having emptied the Recycle Bin?
Have you run Disk Cleanup (start > run > cleanmgr > OK)
Assuming that the answers to the two questions above is Yes and you are still weak on the disk, download and run JDiskReport, space that will graphically show you what files are taking up space on your hard drive. For more advice, post back with the identification of the culprits.
If you do not have enough space to install JDiskReport (about 2 MB), here are some ways to save space:
- Turn off System Restore (right-click on desktop > properties > system restore > check the 'Disable the the system restore on all drives' > OK)
- Disable Hibernation (Control Panel > Power Options > Hibernate > uncheck > OK)
- Disable the Indexing Service (instructions here)
When you turn the system restore, make sure that only your system (usually C:\) partition is monitored and then click the settings button in the System Restore tab and adjust the amount of space used by restoring the system to 1 GB.

My Recycle Bin does not work. Deleted files are not stored in the Recycle Bin.
My Recycle Bin does not work. Deleted files are not stored in the Recycle Bin.
When I delete a file, none of these files are saved in the Recycle Bin.tried to restore desktop icons. no use.
Tried to change the icons as method 2. Yet, my deleted files are not saved in the trash.
My last bag of stuff.
I assume that your allotted basket size is too small or you were not "empty" the collector for a LONG time.Right click on the Recycle Bin > properties > size under Custom, how many MBs are awarded?
Mine is 1023 MB. I saw someone almost 5000 MB.Increase size, play with the numbers until the darn bac actually works the way it should be.
Please post back. I'm curious to know the result.t-4-2
