  I got it to work by putting a few markup in report attributes > column attributes > section.

  The problem is that the markup of exports with the title through the upload function.

  I also tried to do with java by setting the width small enough that encapsulates the header. However, java is ignored because soon the user interacts with the report (for example to add a filter).

• Oracle Apex Interactive report missing filter column header information?

  I use Oracle Apex 4.2, on Internet Explorer 9. I created an interactive report based on the views created in the database (11 g, version 11.2.0.1.0) oracle (workspace = database schema) I use the value of rownum to act as a key to identify the different lines.

  Whenever I try to find the information of one of the column headers for the interactive report (number), I'm not able to find the line, but when I try the same search for "action bar" at the top I am able to see the desired results. That is true of the SQL Developer so know if enter the same information in the filter of the columns, I see the corresponding lines.

  Y at - it an explanation for this behavior?

  This is a limitation of APEX. Column header filters in IR displayed first 999 distinct values in the ascending (after the application of all the IR filters). For example, you can filter 2310 using 'menu action filter' (as you specify) and then try clicking on the topic 'the number '. Then you must see 2310 here.

  fac586 of course it is a bug in the documentation, but 1 million limit is neither practical nor a way to go.

• Column header in the interactive report with special characters

  Interactive column heading in the report sorting and filtering is broken when I used special characters in it.

  Column sorting options appear in the wrong place and the page becomes unresponsive.

  Cause: I use a slash "/" in my query and who broke it. I tried ampersand and the same problem exists.

  This problem does not exist in the classical report, but only in interactive report

  I guess simple fix is that not not to use the query column aliases where is /.

  But you can use ' Open/closed' as an attribute of the column header.

• Interactive report - search column header list does not display all the

  Hey everybody,

  I'm under 4.2 APEX.  On a page, we have a configuration of interactive report.  Assume that the table has several lines (> 50 000).  If I click on the header of any column, it gives me the normal capacity of IR integrated sorting ascending or descending.  It also lists what I think distinct values in this column are (don't know if it's really separate or not, I'm just guessing here).  And it has a search/filter box which allows you to search these values "distinct."

  My problem is, this list is not complete.  It seems that it is limited to a number that is hardcoded somewhere (somewhere between 500 and 1000).  I don't see all the settings that allow me to configure this behavior.

  Of course, we can use the 'main' search bar and have it search for all lines, however there is a particular requirement for this filtering feature to work with the full list as well.

  If you change the column definition for the coumn under set the Filter Type of column to one of the other options like 'User defined list of values to exact match filter' from the list of values.  You can then specify the query used to generate this list.  You could use something like that I have listed below to grab the first 20000 records.

  If the requirement is to prevent a return to the line in the cells of the specific column, add the following style sheet in the header HTML page:

  Ensure that db_CUSTOMER_NAME used exactly in the selector matches the attribute id of the column header.

  This is the definition of fair report > report attributes.

  At the top of the page will be the column attributes section that has a checkbox to activate sort each column and a sort sequence to specify the order of default sort (as using ORDER BY in the query).

  I guess that the report should appear even when it is the first. A user of sorting of the report should not effect when it is run by another user. I have the clear browser cache before the race page.

  Yes, the sort order is stored as the user preferences - see: need to do the SORTING of columns only when I click on the column header

  Because your test application does not require the user to login, all users as being actually given to the same user, PUBLIC_USER, so all will see the same preferences. Your current application require authentication?

  We are in the process of transition of 8 LabVIEW and TestStand 3.5 to 2009 LabVIEW and TestStand 4.2.  We use Microsoft Office Toolkit a little in our work to manipulate Excel and have problems with it.  For example, if I try to use the new Report.vi to open an Excel file, it will open the file successfully, but the 'report' that we would normally have the reference number for the workbook is grayed out with an unknown type.  VI of the sample and the screenshot attached.  All the ideas that we have put in place bad?

  Between 8,0 LabVIEW and LabVIEW 2009 (I think that the change was with the version of LabVIEW 8.5), the report generation tool has been updated to use the LabVIEW Classes.  This means that the report on the outputs output parameter a LabVIEW class, which can be used by another generation of report live to refresh the report.  Unfortunately, LabVIEW classes are not currently supported in TestStand.  The only solution is to create wrapper screws that take the exit and flatten it into a string so it can be stored in TestStand.  Then, for any VI that he would use, you would need a wrapper VI to take the string entry and convert into a class of LabVIEW (nireport.lvclass) so it can be used in the generation of reports other screws more information in this regard lie in this post on the forum: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=330&message.id=14786&requireLogin=False .  The forum post is a few years ago, but the information is still valid.

  I don't know there is probably a way to do this.  But I have not yet found.

  I am building an application that will act as a sort of "universal" reports generator for a MySQL database tables.

  At startup, a drop-down list box is filled with the names of tables in the database.  When the user selects one of these tables, the column names are taken from the base and used to fill the column headers for the table of LabVIEW.

  The idea is that the user can select this column and enter the constraints of filter in a text box.  These constraints will then be added to the WHERE statement for this column.

  So far I've been able to find a way to return the Active cell or a selection of cells, when the user clicks on the actual data of the table.

  Is there a direct way to retrun a selected in LabVIEW column header value?

  I am dreaming that there may be some sort of workaround using transparent controls over the headers.  But because different tables will have a different number of columns that the user defines the width, I'm not really sure that it will work more.

  If you the editable headers, this allows Active cells specify that your column is - 1 column selected active line is the selected column. You may need to use the mouse down? to filter the possibility for the user to change the right column headings.
