  I have developed several plug-ins for Photoshop CC 2014 and that I was developing them I've just add them in the CEP folder to test and update the manifest file and they would appear on Photoshop.

  But I updated to 2015 CC and now, I did the same process, but the extensions do not appear in Photoshop. Am I missing something?

• Brand new Photoshop... help please

  I am a student using the free trial software. My first goal is to transform the docments in pages of resume construction. Quite all right to come I think, but I run into a few glitches at first.

  First of all, when I open the files things are a bit blurry. Zoom is terrible. Not at all like the look, I'm on the school computer.  I get a message to "uncheck the box use the graphics processor in the Panel of the preferences dialog performance" which is the preoblem? Where the Preferences dialogue? I guess that my cell phone is missing, but the graphic ability I have works perfectly with other programs such as Revit and AutoCAd

  Also, when I try to drag a file open to the blank canvas, I get a message says "the depth of the target document does not match the source document", it's that the bitrate?

  I'll put the new page, resolution 300 Pixels/inch. Who is the target?

  And if I could, one last question. Working with 11 x 17 my files drag over the Web without problems on 8 x 11, they used to hang on. Weird.

  If you get a messgae which you should deselect the graphics processor, then you should do it. Some of the features of photoshop uses the graphics card to process instead of using the CPU. Off the coast of loading is supposed to speed up the amount of time it takes to do something.

  If your graphics card does not have power or doesn't have the ability to process, the CPU has to do it and, therefore, the reason to uncheck the option.

  Like to know where to find the preferences, it depends on if you have a mac or windows computer. It is located in a structure of menu of difference for each system. It is always important to specify what operating system you have when the publication of an application.

  Under Windows you will find at the bottom of the Edit menu. On Mac, I think that there is a menu option just before the file. Click on who can go down to preferences. {ctrl-k on windows, command-k on mac}

  When the Preferences dialog box opens there are a list of options sup on the right side to find the one performance. Click, and then on the right side, uncheck the graphics processor, and finally click OK.

  Regarding the ppi, 300 is or has been the recommended value for printing. Some recommend less now. It's a personal preference for a balance between quality and file size. I always use 300ppi because that's what I learned years ago.

  Regarding the physical size it does not matter what size it is when you drag a file, he should go to the canvas of the document. It might be possible that either you do not see the image because it is too large or too small. Or you see an effect of the graphics card.

I decided to uninstall Ps, and then reinstall it. But now it's gone, CC doesn't let me download and reinstall. He always wants me to upgrade what he thinks it's on my computer. So, I tried the upgrade, and that did not need to reinstall the PS.

  Is someone can you please tell me what I need to do to reinstall Ps CS6 on my computer?

  Too bad!!!

  I've searched and searched. Finally understood that I needed to disconnect from CC completely, then sign. Once I did, CC has seen that I had Ps on my computer, and I was able to reinstall.

• Photoshop behave strangely (help please!)

  Photoshop noob here!  Any help would be appreciated.  More I use Photoshop cs6 (64-bit) on my computer the strange behavior starts to happen.  The first time, he started very well, I installed as usual.  Then opacity out of the blue started to behave strangely.  Even when I turned a color to 100% opacity and buried it on top of another color in the same layer would not completely opaque.  I could still see the shapes/lines through the so-called 100% opaque.  I searched the internet and cannot find a solution.  I continued to come following the suggestion to reset all the tools that did not work.  When told to erase my photoshop preferences (the psp file) manually and by using the shortcut CTRL-SHIFT-ALT at photoshop startup the first launched photoshop and then gave rise to an error "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document.".  I could only click ok and continue to work on my messed version of photoshop.  Second, the ctrl-shift-alt shortcut did not work at all.  Fed up, I disabled and uninstalled, then reinstalled Photoshop.

  It worked perfectly fine for awhile and then different strange behavior began don't reproduce.  First of all, the gum has behaved like a blue brush in the background layer.  Instead of erasing of white and see the checkerboard pattern, as I always used to it would be just blue color instead.  I could do it so different opacities.  On the background layer, it is essentially a blue brush.  It was not super boring I could add another layer, but then my desiree pressure has stopped working on my Tablet too.  I downloaded all the latest drivers for the Tablet without result.  Yet once told me to try to remove my preferences that once again resluted in the error "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document.".  Also the shortcut ctrl-shift-alt still does not work.

  I looked everywhere for a solution and still can't understand why Photoshop continues on this self-destructive path.  Any help would be appreciated. Again, I'm new to photoshop so if the answer is very obvious then sorry!

  Reset preferences is first aid for PS uninstall and reinstall will not fix an error in this file.

  You must start PS immediately hold down the ctrl alt shift keys (assuming that the Windows operating system) and you will get a window to reset.  If you're not fast enough, you will see the splash screen.  Some find help by pressing and now the 2 keys, start PS and immediately holding down 3.

• Cannot modify Lightroom 2 photo in photoshop elements 9, help please.

  I use OS 10.6.5. I have Lightroom 2.7 installed, and I purchased Photoshop Elements 9. I'm trying to change my Lightroom photos in elements by going to the Menu, select Photos, then select them change in, but I'm not able to select one of the options to change in as they appear in gray. I uninstalled and re-installed both programs and that did not help. Any suggestions?   Let me know if you need more information.

  Make sure that you have properly implemented PSE9 as external editor.

  In the Lightroom library module, click Edit > Preferences

  Then click the external publishing tab in the Preferences dialog box.

  Click on the button choose (to half way down) in additional external editor

  Then go to the PhotoshopElementsEditor app and select it.

  Yes, right click on the .exe file (it's Setup) and choose Run as administrator. But since you've already tried that... I wanted to just make sure that you don't have that it was not clear to me.

  PS CS5 is out of a disc? The disk may be damaged (not the first time that's happened). Try to download the trial version to see if it will work. All you have to do is to put in the serial number to install.

  Download the trial version in a folder on your desktop. There are 2 files in this folder. Right click on the .exe file in this folder. One will be with extracted files. Open this repetoire and right click on the .exe file and choose Run as administrator. PS will start to install.

  Or: if it is a download try re - down loading. There has been a lot of times where the download is corrupted for some reason any.

  You can try a reset preference:

  I'm on my Imac G4 with mac os x 10.4.11. I know it isn't my printer which poses problem. I was told that I should switch to 10.5.x, I also bought a new CS3 because I don't have the original so I can't reinstall it. The trouble I'm having, is that when I try to print custom formats, the default values for the printer to 8.5x11. Only in photoshop that it.   Unfortunately the GUI for setting this place has been withdrawn, "from the version 2015 Photoshop CC, extracted active feature is is no longer available.

  .. but the good news are, you can always configure the active generation manually.

  You can check some old settings to export manually here:
  Using Photoshop | Generate the layers image assets

  But here's a quick reminder on how to get there:

  Name the layers/groups you want exported with an extension.

  "Select - use .png '.

  'Group.png '.

  Create a new empty layer to set your options. Depending on how you name the layers, you can change the size, add names to files, set the jpg quality, all sorts of settings for various extensions. The example below will display them 100% and a second series to 200% with a @2 annex x.

  Then you just turn it on
  File > generate > Image assets

  It will create a folder in the location of the DSP with the property that you specified.
