  I never installed two databases on a single machine, then perhaps that I make mistake of a first - timer.
  
  Anyone know how to get this working, i.e. start and stop DB without problems?

  First of all... the Oracle Service for the instance must be started for the DB that you try to connect or start.
  Next... from the command prompt:

  Set oracle_sid =

  sqlplus sys as sysdba

  Startup pfile = 'location of the pfile respective db.

  Now, if you want to start or connect to another DB, which is on the same server (again assuming that the Service is STARTED)...

• Problem with "process Multiple Files.

  I use Photoshop Elements 7.0

  Here is a discussion about my problem and three jpg files to show the problem.

  I use quite often the function of "process multiple files. Today, he has developed an error that I can't solve. This problem is the following.

  Check the raw converter. If you have to be converted to 16-bit, you will not be able to convert to jpg. Set it to 8 bits and see what happens.

  My friend visited and she just Photoshop Elements 8 on his cell phone from Apple.

  I'm trying to help him, start with him, but there is a problem that I can not understand.

• How to choose the right version of publishing app when you choose to change the image of in InDesign?

  Hi all

  Normally when I want to edit a picture that is in a page layout in InDesign either, I press option-click on the image, or ctrl-click on the image and choose to edit using the CC of Photoshop, Illustrator CC or another app I need to use at any specific time. Well, I also have backups will only backup my entire system and so all my applications get saved as well.

  Well, what's happening now (for today) is that when I choose to edit the image, it is opening Photoshop (or Illustrator, etc) from my drive backup and not within the app on my main drive. So, even though I already have Photoshop open as I work in InDesign, when I try to edit an image it will open the copy of BACKUP of Photoshop AS well I tried to choose 'other' when ctrl-click on the image and choosing to Ed... but when I navigate to the here where Photoshop is on my main drive, I can't choose the main application because it appears to show the main application of Photoshop as a folder with the that there is content packaging.

  How the hell can I fix the path to the correct version of Photoshop, where I need to do the editing? I must now go to things a way hijacked by browsing up to where the image is in the finder (via ctrl-click on the link of the image in the LINKS Panel and choose "show in finder"), but it takes twice longer :((, it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have as many images as I work with that I'm doing now.

  Just guessing...

  The problem is if Photoshop CC on the primary drive is open? If this is not the case, consider set to open at the start of the computer. The current instance might prevail over those inactive.

  Usually, the installed in last instance of an application is the one linking operating systems (OS X & Windows) with a document file that calls for the application, for example, by double clicking in Finder/Explorer. It is common to see the new version called (say CC Photoshop rather than Photoshop CS 6) because the new version is usually the last installed. Because Adobe CS applications typically install new versions of common files, it is recommended to install releases in chronological order, if it is necessary to reinstall the applications when there are multiple instances on the same computer. For example, to install Photoshop CS4, and CS5 and CS6; If an earlier version is installed when a newer version is present, the previous common files can cause application problems. One consequence of this is normal, but sometimes annoying, behavior that at the launch of an application by throwing one of his files, the new version is open because this is the functioning of the operating system.

  In your case, it is possible that the operating system sees Photoshop of the backup drive installation the new installation and lance. Perhaps to save Photoshop CC makes this instance appear most recent for the operating system. Remember to leave Photoshop CC out of the backup operation. If it works well! If this isn't the case, you may try to start the computer from the backup disk, run Photoshop, then exit and restart the computer from the main drive. • PES 10 - problem prevents the watermark color setting when processing multiple files using

  I use the batch processing under file > processing of multiple files.  I put the watermark with my text you want, post, police, font size, opacity and color white.  However, every time I come back to deal with another batch of color goes back to the default blue color instead of white that I initially put.

  Does anyone else have this problem?  Are there patches?

  I use Photoshop Elements 10 on a Mac under Lion.

  At least on windows the color always seems to default to the color set as the foreground color in the Toolbox.

What I m trying to do is to rename these vignettes of their original name for username_0, username_1, username_2 etc. for each of the 9 inches. The user name is the registration form on the same page.   You need Adobe raw camera 8.7 version. Unfortunately your software is earlier than the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG Converter to convert your raw files to the universal Raw format files and Adobe will be open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the software of the camera factory)

  You are probably using the Quick - switch to Expert mode at the top. All the tools are only available in Expert mode.
