Google Chrome Print - Save as PDF Glitch

Hello

Since all July 2015, I noticed all the PDF I printed on Google Chrome the button print and selecting Save as PDF are unfathomable on my PC.

PDF documents I look just fine, but if you place the cursor on a line of text, then click on copy and past the text Google search or in a word doc then all I get is square box symbols and text.

I tried this on all 3 of my PC, Adobe running a Pro X and others running the standard version and the same failure is on the whole using Google Chrome.

Can the community do me a favor and see if I'm doing something wrong or if Google is curropting these files.

Try with this Article http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/34956022

Print, save to PDF and once registered, copy a section of text and then paste you see if its readable.

In Firefox, print, save as PDF function works very well and you can copy and paste the text from the PDF file.

Thanks for your help

Gareth

Print > save as PDF - use an excerpt (part of Mac OS X), so Adobe Reader should have no effect on that at all.

As for the error "file corrupted", simply uninstall the Reader app will not affect it. Follow these steps:

    Mac/HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins

Trash the files AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

    Mac HD/Applications

    Trash the application Adobe Reader

    [user] / Library/Preferences

    Trash the com.adobe.Reader.plist file

To access the [user] / Library, hold down the 'Option' and click on 'Go' in the FInder menu.

    Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe

    Trash the drive (full record)

    Empty the trash.

Download the installer FULL here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Quit your browser, and then reinstall the drive.

Run it from the Applications folder and agree to the license agreement.

You should have no problem with Safari PDF files download.

Unfortunately, ANY PDF file that says it is damaged.... You will need their trash.

  • Google Chrome printer settings

Does anyone know how to adjust the printer settings for a HP Photosmart C4780 with MAC OSX 10.6 via Google Chrome permanently?  Whenever I have print a doc, there is no option to change the color black and white, and I prefer that it is my fault.  I searched on the net and I can not find any help.

I tried using Terminal but when he asked for my user/pass, I had no idea what user/pass, is it refers to.

    Thank you!

    Hi gatorphan,

You cannot create a custom preset, such as printing in black and white in Google Chrome. However, you can create a and access it in the browser.

An example, you can use is to create a black and white preset TextEdit. To do this:

    1.) open TextEdit

2.) "123" in the white box type

3.) click file in the upper left corner of the computer screen and then click print

(4.) if the triangle in the upper right corner is facing down, click on it to expand your predefined options

4.), you should see the print menu open

5.) click TextEdit below the orientation options

6.) select paper type / quality you need

7.) to the left of the paper and quality settings, you will see the Color Options

8.) click The color Options and change "ColorSmart / sRGB" of "grey".

9.), click Presets (the second option from the top)

10.) click on record underand you can name this universal preset 'black and white'.

    11.) launch Google Chrome

12.), click the icon to the top right corner (with three horizontal lines)

    13.) click print

14.) in the left corner all the way down the menu print (once the printer is selected)

Click on the illuminated option that says print using Dialogue system

15.) select your black and white presets, and then click print. The Black preset will remain the default whenever you print from Google Chrome

I hope this additional information helps!

  • Illustrator CS4 "Save as PDF" Glitch

I use illustrator adobe CS4 on mac OS X 10.6.5 snow lepord

Whenever I have a file I or any type of file and want to use the option "save under", when I select illustrator PDF completely freezes. I have to force quit and then restart to resume work.

My work around was to save as a file, open the file in adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and "save under" PDF through this program. It works every time. But the option "save under" PDF in illustrator crashes whenever I use it.

Does anyone else have this problem?

What model Mac? How much RAM? How much free space on your drive to work?

    You can also try this

    1. quit Illustrator.
    2. go to user/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe illustrator CS4 Settings and parameters, the entire record of the trash not only the contents of the folder...
    3. launch Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.

  • Save as PDF/Google Cloud Print

I have 2 shelves Samsung Galaxy (tab 2 and tab 4), 4.1.2 Android running one, and 4.4.2 running.  Both have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 16.2. Both are signed to the same Google account.

On the most recent tablet, select print gives me a dialog box with the option to save in PDF format.

On the older tablet, selecting printing takes me to a login page for Google Cloud Print.

I can't figure how to get rid of the Google Cloud Print option. Google Cloud Print (the application) is not installed on the tablet. I re-installed Adobe and is about to format the tablet to see if that changes.

I want to just save as PDF locally on the two tablets.

    Hello

Registration as a PDF for Google Cloud Print option is only available for Android versions 4.4 and above. Layout of the tablet or reinstall the application would not help and you will lose important data. I would advise against it. All annotated with Adobe Acrobat files are saved in their original location. You try to save in a different location using 'Save As PDF '?

  • Not "Save as pdf" option for web printing "Smart Print" with IE9

Just updated IE9 browser and noticed that there is no option 'Save as pdf' Smart for IE9 catalog as it was in older versions of smart Web printing for the IE8 and other earlier versions?

Are there ' work around ' way, apart from the "Print Screen" heavier and HP approach will add back this feature is very handy in the future upgrades?

I honestly always preferred Google Chrome IE, just for compatibility and ease of use of the browser.

Just to tell you, SWP is a program that was written for IE8, but has been made compatible with IE9 which led some of the lost features crash. The feature can be added in the future, but I can't put a time table on when this feature will be added. Is there a specific task you want to accomplish that I might be able to give a more appropriate work around?

Let me know and I'll get back to you!

  • LaserJet Pro 400 MFP: LaserJet Pro 400 prints not Google Chrome

Sorry, please answer my question in the forum somewhere but I can't find.

Since I got my new LaserJet Pro 400 MFP I can print is no longer things such as my weekly payroll tax receipts.  I use Google Chrome.  When I try to print, I get only the options to 'Save' or 'Cancel' so I have to save it, then go to My Documents, find it and print it out.  I would really like to continue to use Google Chrome, so it's an another printer driver that I need to use?  Thank you!

    Hello

You need not of any other driver, just point Google chrome to the right pair...

Google chrome opens the print dialog box, and then press the button change.
Select your printer from the list instead of the default save as PDF option and try to print again.

  • Envy7645 HP: printing of my book on my envy 7645 printer google chrome

IM pretty frustrated with my repeated attempts to print from my new book of chrome on my printer wireless hp 7645 envy. Y at - there anyone out there that has a solution for me? Thank you

Please see the document which contains the instructions for use of HP on a Chromebook print.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04683559

Download the application of 'HP Print' on the Chrome Web Store, then run it.  Add your printer by typing the IP address on your network.  (You can find it in the Configuration section of the network on the control panel of the printer.)

Now, try to print something, either by pressing Ctrl-P, or by using the menu option 'Print' in Chrome.  A window opens showing the 'Destination' of the file.  The first time he usually shows 'Save as PDF' as the default.  Click on the button 'Change of Destination' and select your printer.

This app works fine for me!

  • A PDF file do not Google Cloud Print on OfficeJet Pro 8600 print N911a

I mainly use Chrome OS, but it seems to have the same problem on a PC running Cloud Print via a browser. If I connect to the applications on the 8600 eStorage feature and go to display and print, then I can access Google Drive files and order a print of a PDF file through this interface and that they print correctly.  I had deleted the former use of the Cloud Print queue and queue ePrintCenter, but still no a PDF is via CloudPrint impression.

I can't thank you enough for this explanation. I didn't know that there is a correlation between the error 'unknown' with the printer on the ePrint and Google Chrome website.  I have worked with greed to try to determine the causes of this error to www.hpconnected.com and so far everyone has said that it does not affect their impression.

You see the error in the hpconnected or the eprintcenter.com?

I now have a few steps for you and please let me know the result. I want you to set a static IP address on the printer.  I have created a comprehensive document which includes all the steps to solve a similar problem (maybe even the same problem).  Do not hesitate to try any suggestion in this link and let me know if any help really.

-Printer will not respond to touch and Communication Network is lost-I am a link you directly how to set a static IP address, but just know that I will be having try you a number of relevant suggestions if it does not work.

All I ask is patience with me while I do some tests to see if your error on the ePrint site has something to do with Google Chrome.  In fact, thank you for giving me something more to test.

Finally, if the static IP address is not help, just turn on the printer, and then try to print the PDF, because so far, it's what makes the error on the Web site to go.  Keep me posted.

  • Cannot create PDFs in Google Chrome

Whenever I try to create a PDF file of the Acrobat plugin in the browser Chrome, after selecting the save location, it will get stuck at "download for Conversion...". "on the first try after turning on my computer.

It just hangs there, and then I have to put an end to the Acrobat plugin in the Task Manager to get it to stop listening.  Yet another attempt will not work, and I have to finish the plugin in force once again.

The plugin will start to work if I use the option 'Print' normal in Chrome and select Adobe PDF printer once.  Then when I try the plugin Acrobat in Chrome, it will start to work.

Is there a way to prevent this, so that the plugin Acrobat in Chrome works every time after start/restart of the computer so I can't go through the extra steps?

    Hi Thomas

It is a known issue and we are investigating it.

To work around the problem, you can create a PDF of some Office file or web page of Acrobat via file > create > PDF of the file before you start the conversion of Chrome or print to the Adobe PDF printer.

This is required only once after system reboot.

    Thank you

  • Download of PDF attachments to the e-mail message by using Google Chrome

Recently (within the last few days), I have all a sudden, not been able to open or save all attachments PDF to my emails when I access my email through Google Chrome.

I have AOL as my email provider and the question that I have (now) I have experience both on my laptop than my PC. I started having this problem in recent days, before that, I was able to download attachments without a problem. Also I am currently not having this problem if I have access to my email/AOL using Internet Explorer or Firefox.

If I receive a message with an attachment in PDF, when I click on the attachment, it does nothing (previously it would open a box and ask me where I wanted to save the download to). If the attachment is something else that a PDF I have no problem downloading attachments, but in Chrome, nothing when I select it (I'll see a circle of spinning next to the name in the tab ' ' for a second or two, but then nothing..).

Please note that I tried many things including by selecting "reset" on Google Chrome, I uninstalled and reinstalled google Chrome, I unselected the plugin chrome Google for PDF reader and selected the Acrobat in the drive plug, I turned my computer off and on, I signed on and in Google Chrome, I've updated both Acrobat X Google Chrome.Nothing I did made a difference.

Thank you very much for any help, it's driving crazy me...

I had the same problem, but that said juliand invited to me to realize that

all punctuation in the name other that underscore does not work in version online.

Have the files to send as only letters or numbers.

When I got the customer remove, (in this case a comma) in the name so it would download on any device.

I suspect when the name was changed by Juliand he eliminated the punctuation.
