  • Site that opens fine chromium does not open Firefox

I have a site that opens fine with IE, Chrome, Safari, Opera browser, but does not open with FF. Initially FF (and other browsers) application for certificate of security I have add and save the exception. After that the redirect should be done and it is done in other browsers. But in Firefox, all I see is a blank white page.

Verified with the developers of the Web site, here's the answer:
FF16.0.2 really does not have to run a script from the unreliable node, even if one adds the certificate exceptions. Obviously, a feature of the FF. Other browsers running the script very well

So, the problem will be resolved if we add (one day) a certificate appropriate to this Web site.

    The issue can be closed.

  • Guest account does not work

I support a PC in our local library running Win XP Pro.  It worked very well - except yesterday a problem started with newspaper comments on.  We use an Admin account and only one account asked for volunteers from the library.  When you open a session using the Admin account, no problem - the screen is as it should be.  However, when the person of the library to log on using the guest account, the screen is blurred.  The only way I can explain it - appears as a small white box.  I think that the guest account is corrupted somehow.

I removed the guest account, rebooted the PC and then reinstalled the guest account - the problem remains.  We did no change in software to the computer.  The only use for the PC is to archive and retrieve books using Internet-based software.

Is there a program of repair, under XP I could use to solve the problem?  Or do you have another suggestion?

    Hello

Guest account is included in the Windows XP operating system. You will not get an option to remove and create the account in Windows XP. The only option you will get is to turn account or disable the guest user.

Therefore, I suggest to create a standard user account and check if it helps to solve the problem.

If you think that your Firefox window can be "off-screen" somewhere, what happens sometimes to certain users, this discussion has a few things to heal that: when I go to open firefox it appears on my toolbar, but not on my screen where it is?

  • E-mail accounts does not open

I use e-mail to Windows 8 for over a year. All of a sudden, one morning, none of my email accounts open. The e-mail client opens, and the points turn in a circle without end. None of my emails has. I have four different e-mail - 2 on Google accounts, 2 on other ISPS. I can open each of them through the Internet ISP sites without problem.

One of my Google accounts says "Needs attention."  When I click on it it asks me to connect. I do and I see "Your Gmail account update" and "preparing your email', and the ubiquitous circle of points that never ends.

I don't even know what else to try at this point. I did not the latest changes to my computer.

The top toolbar on Windows Live mail must be a Sign In button (to the right).  There the connection with the same email and password allows you to connect to your PC and your Live Mail program should show the same contacts you have in the people application.

  • By clicking on the external links (e.g. in Thunderbird) does not open Firefox

The same goes for other programs, such as Word. The development of the program (Thunderbird, Word...) is lost after clicking, but Firefox doesn't do not one thing. (Firefox is configured as my standard browser). What can I do?

    Thanks in advance!

Nevermind, I just installed v.41, that solves the problem.

  • I try to use my school online applications using citrix. I have the plugin installed on my machine, but it does not open firefox 4 beta 11. He will be in the future support?

I have the plugin from citrix installed on my machine and it runs and starts well in firefox 3.16. Can I find support for it now or should I wait the final Firefox 4?

Compatibility with Firefox 4.0 is the responsibility of Citrix. You can check their website for a plugin for Firefox 4.0beta update versions. There again, perhaps they expect the actual release of the Firefox 4.0 before they update their plugin. many programs do not support versions beta from other programs.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones email accounts does not open

I've updated the email accounts and since then I can't open it from the menu setup. I changed the password of my email to work, so I need to change my it in the connection information. Can someone help me?

This is known/hot and was back on BOARD.

In the meantime here is a work-around to edit your accounts:

From your browser, go to mobile.blackberry.com.

Select the country of your choice, then click Communicate > Email.  Scroll to other personal e-mails and click on join now, then start the configuration of e-mail.

You will be able to integrate/modify your e-mail accounts in this way until the RIM has solved the problem.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that your iPhone cannot connect to a Wi - Fi network.  Since you've already restarted your iOS device, the next step is to reset your network settings.  See step 6 in the article of support linked to below.

  • If I try to open a session my account Hotmail in Firefox, Hotmail says that my Hotmail account does not exist, so that I can connect problemlessly in other browsers

When I open Hotmail in Firefox and try to connect, Hotmail says my account does not exist. But I can problemlessly connect in other browsers, so I don't know that there is no problem with my account. In addition, I am absolutely sure I didn't misspell anything. Until this problem occurred, I was always able to connect to my Hotmail account in Firefox. I tried to clear my cookies and history, but it still does not work.

Do you have stored passwords or form fill data for live.login.com?

Follow these steps to delete the recorded data (form) in a drop-down list:

    1. Click on the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
    2. Select an entry in the drop-down list
    3. Press the DELETE key (on a Mac: shift + delete) to remove it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.
