• Portege M400 battery does not show the true situation

  I had a M400 for quite awhile. It was working fine when I got it. At that point, I was running Vista RC1. After Vista RTM was released I was however not very good battery life (40-50 minutes at 100% load).

  At first, I thought that the battery had gone back, but I have a few other batteries and an another Toshiba. When I brought a 100% charged battery showing nearly 4 hours of battery life on my M200, he showed 50minutes in my M400.

  I installed the latest version of the BIOS but no change. Is there any utility calibration of battery or other things I could try. One thing I noticed is that the fan is running most of the time at full speed.

  Please don t compare the Portege M200 with M400. Battery life is not the same on different laptops!
  Additional there know that the battery performance are much weaker with Vista and laptop running Vista waste far more energy than the laptop even under XP.

• Google showing my site as the "index."

  Hello

  I transferred my Web site that appears in a search on google as "index".

  I went to the page properties, metadata and noticed filename is grayed out and called 'index'.html.

  This is why my site is displayed in the form 'index' in the google search?

  If so, how can I change that so it will be displayed as "zero" in Communications Inc.

  You can set the title of the page in your properties of the page.

  

  If you want a different page title (which appears in Google) just uncheck the "Same page" and then put what you like here in there.

  This font is listed as new in El Capitan. It is not in my book of police but I don't like the look of it. Where would download it please?

  As far as I know, you can not download anywhere.  The reason is, designers/developers of the police don't want it available for commercial use.  If you download it, you can use it for documents or something else that can be printed.
