• Google translate opens with a previous translation

  When I open Google Translate in Firefox, by default to a page I have translated 2 years ago. It is a personal health problem, so that every person pensionable translate on this computer can see. No other translation before or since have been saved in this way. Delete cookies etc does not help. Translate opening in Chrome or IE does not have this problem. I'd rather not delete Firefox and change browser, but will have to do if I can't sort for some people using this computer. Anyone got a fix?

• Sound missing icons of Google Translate

  When I go to Google Translate, the audio button icons are missing. I don't know why that should be, because the icons are well in other browsers. My installation of Firefox is new, is there a setting I'm missing?

  When I visit Google Translate, the Shockwave Flash plugin is used for sounds. I don't see on your list of plugin. Could it be disabled (set to 'never activate')? You can check that on the page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. No matter which cluster disabled plugins at the bottom of the list.

  If your version of Flash is old, you may need to update before it can be activated. I'm sure you know the drill: uncheck all the unwanted extras before you download: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

  Firefox is still having a problem displaying the languages in the drop-down control to Google Translate. This issue has been addressed in another thread, (now archived) here:

  I still encounter the problem, and I created a SIMPLER example to illustrate the problem, here:

  What we have tried so far to solve:

  1. we tried the reset Firefox option, which did not solve the problem
  2 uninstall, reinstall, which did not solve the problem

  The strange thing is that it works very well on a system running Windows 7, and it worked for two Firefox, 23, 24 and 25, which were upgraded to the order. But it does not work on an another high-end system nine also runs Windows 7 and 25 of Firefox.

  It works very well on Google Chrome. Internet Explorer does not yet display control to translate! Something changed recently potentially with Google translation which is the cause of break. I'm not the first to report, although he seemed to have resolved for other people in some cases, without an explantation.

  A customer has reported this problem and we can reproduce it on a Windows 7 system, but also is not another system running Windows 7.

  Any help that you can offer to fix it for Firefox users would be much appreciated.

  Note that Google translation element requires Flash work, so if it does not work so make sure you who have installed the Flash plugin and you also authorize this plugin.

  You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

  • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
  • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)

  Firefox on Windows is now after display, scaling options that can make the biggest text on screens at high resolution. There are several ways to solve this problem.   I'm not sure.  I'll give you my suggestion, followed by the justification.

  First of all, try to restart the device and then try to paste again.  If this solves the problem, read more.

  You should be able to touch the screen inside a text field and then release and the device then displays a small icon which users click to paste.  One of the reasons for which the icon does not appear is because there is nothing to paste.  First make sure that you cut something first and if you think you have done, double check.  Also, try to paste into an email to project or a note in do not forget to check that you can paste it into a different text entry field.

  Paste the icon may not appear because the site does not allow to stick inside the field.  This can be found in the case of a password entry field sometimes.  But I wasn't expecting for a case as in your example.

  So, if you have restarted and also makes sure stick work in other applications, try the following.  1 type something in the text field.  For example, type xxx.  2. touch and hold on until xxxxxx xxxxxx is highlighted and the small window with the dough as one of the actions is displayed.  3. tap paste.  This will replace xxxxx with the content you are pasting.

  Some password fields, you cannot paste.  For example, if you copy a password or code officer password or another source and try to paste into one of these areas, the icon stick will not appear.   However, something striking in the field and select and paste above are a way around.  Your situation is not exactly the same, but perhaps the proposed trick work.

  If you paste wrong in any field, and restarting the device does not solve the problem, then we expect more deep.

  A jpeg file is an image, Google can't translate an image.  You must register as a document.

I created a site in Muse and when I add the Google Translate widget, it shows a lot about the site of temp catalyst business, but when I export to HTML it disappears completely. They plan on using their own servers to host the site, so using HTML is a must. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  If you do this on the spot, how do you think Google can access the local site and translate it? The thing is, it can not, then you will need to download the code on a web server, and then I'm sure the translation tool works.

  I have a 64-bit Windows 8.1 PC and use Internet Explorer 11 or Windows Chrome. Can someone talk to me through selection, copy and paste a PDF document in general? As well as my occasional to translate Spanish Pdf document need, I also like to know how to select, copy and paste into Notepad or WordPad, an e-mail or a document. I tried everything I can think but cannot make it work.

  Just FYI: If you have PDF documents online (which contain 'real text' of course), you can also use Google Translate to translate the entire document.  Click 'translate a document' under the entry field.
