• Editing GoPro footage in Final cut pro 7

  Hello

  I shot a lot of footage recently on my new GoPro (30 p) 2704 × 1520, (.h264) and I need to convert for editing with Final Cut Pro 7, so that my system can handle it.   My question is: what is the large size of the Final Cut 7 format can manage to edit a GoPro high resolution files (or other camera such as 2.7 k, 4 k formats?)  I'll assume that I need to convert down to Apple Pro Res in 1440 x 1080? Correct size and codec?

• GoPro on a Workflow FCPX

  Hello - I found a lot of conflicting answers about this so was hoping I could get this confirmed: is imported directly from GoPro FCPX is going to give you the same quality as in GoPro studio first, import export until. MOV and then use it in FCPX?

  Some answers that I say because of the conversion will be GoPro Studio will result in a higher quality file but other answers I've seen suggest import images directly from GoPro and selecting "Optimized" is just as good.

  I would be interested to know what everyone uses to achieve the best video quality GoPro and FCPX.

• iPad plays more video Gopro for 1 year!

  Any pro videos go 4 hero cash in July 2015 on my ipad, and they played then.

  Now, trying to read on the same device, said popup video format not supported.

  Yet they also play ok on my Imac

  IPad running 9.3.2,and don't know when this has been updated, but clearly after July 2015.

  What is going on!

  It seems that you have an iPad Air?  Should be taken in charge by go pro but there may be a problem with the software pro go.  I suggest that you email or call the consultant software pro go because they are the only ones who could help on this one.  The only other thing I could guess is that your app GoPro is not updated?

• I can't edit my Gopro videos when downloaded on my Mac

  So I bought a GoPro Hero Session and then downloaded studio gopro on my Mac. When I download my photos and videos from gopro on my Mac, if I try and and add them to the Gopro studio or change them I can't because they are greyed out. I even saved them to my office and changed file name, but still the same result. Is there a solution for this.

  Is this for Mac application photos where you posted?

  To use the Photos in other programs, or use the media browser (in the opened window on the left down under Support == > photos == > photos or the export of pictures (menu, file == > export) to a folder on the desktop and use here)

• Idle smoothly in FCPX with GoPro

  I am trying to import 60 p (59,98 fps) images of the GoPro in FCPX.  I want my project to 24 p.  But it's just not good - it is super nervous to research.  Here is what I tried:

  1 import directly from the camera.

  2 create a 24 p timeline.

  3 drag and drop the images.

  4 speed automatic (goes to 40%).

  5 images seems hectic.

  6. apply rate Conform and tried all the options.

  I also did the above, but exported GoPro studio first.  Exactly the same result.

  How do I leave my GoPro smooth slow motion?

• Fact film GoPro 17sec and now cannot delete 2 hours cause records he says be used? I just want to keep the movie not all the extras.

  I want to know how to remove all these records without value shows saved on my macbook and just keep the 17sec movie I recorded on my computer I made in the studios of the GoPro. Trash can said that I can't cause its used. So I have to save the record with my phone and then erase everything? Seems silly and wouldn't look professional record the computer screen, but I will if I have to, so I fill my computer with video of pure filler.

  Leave the Photos, if the items from the trash are no longer used.

  To empty the Recycle Bin, and then try again.  If the items are still in use, restart the Mac, then try again.

  That have you tried exactly to remove? Only video clips?

• U410 touch GoPro video problems

  I'm looking for help videos how GoPro works fine on my computer. Currently they are very restless.

  My system spec is:

  i7-3537U 2.00 GHz (quad core)

  -NVIDIA GeForce 710M

  -8 GB ram

  After reviewing the GoPros site, they offer 3 to 3.7 GHz cpu which I account I'm short on. I however had limited, success when you change the video settings in VLC to the video output directX (directdraw).

  Since a recent update of VLC this change settings does not work and results in a pink screen where as before I had a smooth video playback.

  I noticed that the CPU drivers are old enough (21/04/2009, 6.3.9600.16384) and those on the lenovo support site are much more recent. I installed it but there was no change in Device Manager.

  It is true that this otherwise fast computer is not able to read the GoPro videos?

  I've never used a GoPro camera or tried to play videos of one on my touch U410, but here are some things you might want to try:

  1. Check that the computer is configured to use the GPU nVidia and Intel not an edge (which is less power hungry, but also not as powerful as the one nVidia).
  
  
  2. Run Windows Update (file name: WUAPP.) (EXE) and make sure you have all the updates for Windows installed on the U410.
  
  
  3. Try to download and install the latest video driver for the 710M from nVidia chip (currently version 337.88 WHQL, at http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/75992).

  If all goes well, one who will not solve the problem.

Can someone tell me if this PC will allow me to start the video editing software provided by GoPro for their cameras? The minimum requirements that they list on their website are CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo; Graphics card supporting OpenGL 1.2 or higher; 4 GB RAM or more; Internal drive hard disk 5400 RPM; Quick Time 7.6 or higher.   The Dual core Celeron is not as good as the chip Core 2 Duo - everything will be OK.

  In theory - the answer is "maybe", but this isn't the ideal machine for your software, unless you can find another sequel that will work with the Celeron to video editing.

  The machine will run slowly, while using, even stop if HD video processing, and that it provides will allow you to install it in the first place.

  The AT3-600-UR33 is not a bad machine, it's just for everyday use.

  normal Windows do not read exFAT format which comes with the 64 GB, so you will need to update the system files on the windows site Formate and it will work without even formating your card.

• Installation of Gopro studios

  I have installed gopro studios four times now, and whenever I try to open the link it says it's not compatible with my computer. I watched the gopro site and my computer is listed as one that should be compatible... any ideas?

  Your best bet is to contact the GoPro.  We have no knowledge of their software.  Are you sure that you have installed the correct version and latest?

• 6 hours of export for 8 min GoPro video? Help, please!

  I'm mostly new to first and just start to try and ramp upward on the simpler editing and export process. I'm trying to make a GoPro video, 1080 p @ 60 fps. I started yesterday evening, turned up at 05:00 to see it is 54% of the second pass - had to stop him. I am rendering/export H.264 YouTube 1080HD preset. The video has minor changes, color Cine25 FX and FX, correction of the lens correction. I have two internal HDs. My system is a 850pro 1 TB SSD and second disc is the former system of 750Go player that a disk HARD is quick and dedicated JUST to video files. I tried rendering the material of origin since the HARD disk exported to the HARD drive first. It took too long. I moved the source for the SSD (system disk) and exporting at the disk - it still says that it will be made an hour 6, but until now this number only sank 20 minutes in the last 2 hours.

  Of course, I'm doing something wrong. I was hoping that I had set up my computer for faster makes light of the SSD and two internal drives to remove bottlenecks. Any ideas where is the hang up? Once again, I'm just using the preset in first for YouTube 1080HD, did not have one of these parameters. Thoughts? I beg you, please help!

  Effects... some effects last longer than others, and several effects can take MUCH longer

  ... Test export WITHOUT effects and then add one of the effects at once
