• Receive no benefit of using GPU acceleration/CUDA in After Effects CS6

  I've recently updated the graphics card in my Mac Pro 3.1 for an EVGA Nvidia GTX 680 Mac Edition and have set up so that after effects CS6 recognizes it as a compatible card as in many places, I read that it should work fine. However, I don't seem to receive all the benefits of using, rendering time a little longer, if it is not longer than before and previews just like sluggish. I've updated the graphics card and CUDA, set the preview of Ray-tracing for GPU and all the comps are set to display with the ray-tracing, but I still get no no performance gain.

  I noticed that under the information GPU in the OpenGL Shader Model information is empty and greyed out. I don't know if this is related to the problem, but I'm not sure why this is. Information under CUDA seems to be OK. I have provided the following information:

  As Mylenium says, you seem to be waiting for something which is not the case. The 3D rendering engine traced to the RADIUS does not speed up the rendering of the classic compositions from After Effects. It is rather a rendering engine to make a very limited set of manipulations in 3D (extrusion of text and shapes) and flexion of the 2D layers. Even these things are not fast with the traced the beam 3D rendering engine. they are just faster with the GPU that they would be on the CPU.

• Plugins does not work in After Effects CC15.3

  Everything worked perfectly yesterday. A project of client using some of my favorite plugins like Trapcode Form and particular.

  After update today, would continue my project where I left.

  However, the majority of my plugins disappeared, leaving me unable to progress, short on time.

  I had to completely start over, with a new idea and the standard after effects plugins.

  I tried to reinstall them, but they may not appear.

  Did anyone facing this problem too?

  Like HippieBoy, but on Windows 10, I tried to copy the plugins trapcode manually from the

  "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe after effects CC 2015\Support Files\Plug-ins\Trapcode.

  "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe after effects CC 2015.3\Support Files\Plug-ins\Trapcode."

  and my trapcode plugins where backward. The amazing thing is that I have installed the Plugin Trapcode after having updated to 2015.3 CC. The reason was probably that the Trapcode plugins trial version installed to AE CC 2015 and that the folder was still here the licensed version of Trapcode installed in the old folder.

• Stop on images will not import into After Effects

  I created a still image in Premiere Pro, I've tried to "Replace with After Effects Composition year" in order to animate a little. However, for some reason, the image does not load in After Effects. I tried it with several other images, all that worked. AFAIK nothing has changed since these instances to it (be put aside, obviously, the fact that I use a different image).

  Any idea what I can do to fix this?

  Temporal changes and frozen images of Premiere Pro are not AE. No more titles or transitions. It is a limitation, you must live with for now.

  It is possible, using this video card and GPU in after effects CC 2015?

  In my laptop DELL, 16 GB of RAM, 1 HD, 8SSD, win 10 64 bit, off AMD Radeon R7 2 GB M260 video card card is not recognized in the Pro and after.

  AE CC 2015 almost does NOT have use of the GPU.  It makes very little difference, what card you have.  Premiere Pro can use the GPU - you need to ask the people of Premiere Pro about it.

• This copy of Windows is not activated. After replacing the hard drive. The activation window is empty.

  The activation window is empty. XP Pro SP3 + System (2 updates the version) beta of SP4 added due to problems of program. Build 2600.xpsp + sp3_gdr_101209-1647(Service Pack 3). Problem started after the replacement of the boot hard drive that wasn't. New drive has been a ghost of the old boot copy and active. Having the disk key and product to install but the CD won't deal with any problems indicating that the version of the program is different, probably because of upgrades SP. The program disk is that Windows XP Professional Service pack 2 Version 2002, Ref. 0304 x 10-52217 and has passed many tests for over the years of downloads genuine microsoft software. • RED. R3D files are not supported in After Effects?

  When I try to import R3D files seem to be disabled in all supported formats.

  On your screenshot of the plug-ins folder MediaCore, the bundle Skeleton.plugin is not created here.  You say that the build succeeds, then the plug-in is built somewhere else.

  In XCode, in the project Navigator, whirlwind, the products folder, Ctrl click the Skeleton.plugin element and choose Show in Finder.  Where is it built?

  Even if you have specified the path in the preferences > locations > derived data > advanced > Custom > products, make sure the menu Custom drop-down is set to Absolute, not to...

• Synchronized typekit fonts do not appear in After Effects

  Hi, I would really appreciate some advice. I have sync had two on my Macbook Typekit fonts. I can see these fonts and use them in Photoshop and other applications such as Pages. However I don't find fonts in After Effects. I tried several times AE opening and closing, but the fonts appear not just. Any ideas please. Thank you.

  Please restart your system, then try signing out of creative cloud app and then signing back in. Subsequently open After effects and check if the problem still persists.

• Adobe Premiere CS6 does not open and After Effects crashes instantly

  I started having a problem with my Adobe package last week and I need to get it fixed as soon as possible. To start with, first will not be open to the top. I tried to open it several times and I just get a brief look at the loading screen and then nothing. After Effects have become troublesome in a similar way. I charge it and I get error messages saying the following:

  I tried to reinstall the whole from the ground upwards and rename the folder Appdata / Premiere Pro. Nothing seems to work and I need this problem quickly. Any ideas?

• NVIDIA Quadro M2000M not compatible w After Effects?

  I tried to get the best performance settings on my new laptop Lenovo P50 of workstation. Starting to wonder if this laptop is a little ahead of the curve.

  I was surprised that preferences settings show the optional/premium video card offering in this incompatible machine. I updated the driver, but that's what it shows:

  

  The other surprise is that the port of Thunderbolt3 is not in the drop-down list with the miniDP port, but rather through port USB Type C... which, at the moment there is practically no hard drives that I can connect to with Thunderbolt... and the USB Type C TB3 to TB adapters will be unavailable for at least a few weeks.

  Any advice or info on the graphics card problem would be appreciated.

  In its State current AE does not use the GPU to speed up everything except the user interface. In many systems of things were better if you disable acceleration in preferences.

  There are some plug-ins third parties who rely on the GPU to accelerate their effects, but the CUDA driver has absolutely no effect on these plug-ins. It has always been like that. NVIDIA has completely changed the direction they were going anyway so I wouldn't count on the further development exclusively made with CUDA acceleration.

  If all goes well, in the AE very close future will make better use of the GPU, but for now don't worry about this.
