• How can I open the end point of a letter/police?

  I try to open the end point of a letter using Illustrator. The attached image shows what I'm trying to achieve. I did it by putting a white shape on top of it, but it will not work for a logo to be used on a coloured background, for example. What I need is to be able to open the end without having to add forms, or to be able to merge these forms to the letter, it becomes a path or shape (but I had no chance of being able to find a way to do it).

  Forms of letters assuming paths as usual vector illustrations (Type > vectorize or similar) with black outlines, you can:

  (1) select the paths of the letter and the object > path > Outline Stroke.

  (2) ShiftClickDrag with the line tool Segment each location where you want to cut paths/forms (horizontal lines), then object > path > divide objects below, then select the unwanted bits and press DELETE.

  I'm building a sensitive site with lots of photos and I have a very frustrating problem.

  When I'm at the weight 550px I view photos on a single column and adapt their weight and size, so they don't get cut. Nice pictures across, but the bottom of the browser does not follow! So it leaves a terrible "white" after the footer space.

  I tried with and without feet, but when I display as 20 images or more (especially if they are horizontal) in a single column, it's as if the browser does not follow and leaves a blank space with nothing.

  And the solution of adding break points, he is not a good thing because I would need a break point each 100px or less! Because the 'white space' in the lower part develops very quickly!

  I found the solution! It was just to add an att of low minimum height of the breakpoint, in the current page and the page master. As 300px worked well. It was difficult because I was dragging down the end of the page manually, so the minimum height was also changing.

  Hi, I paint a card using white on the black lines representing roads - this usually works well, except when I want to join one 'road' to each other as shown below (I left paths highlighted).

  I also need a scalable solution that might work if the thickness of the black and white lines has been modified subsequently.

  What I would do, is to create a graphic Style of the appearance of the line that you use. Then draw your routes using a very basic feature. All group traits, then apply the graphic style of the group. This way you do not have to worry about intersections, the graphic Style for you. See the screenshots below.

• DVD burn the EMPTY SPACE at the end of the video. Why?

  I'm creating short videos for the signage and need the content of the LOOP by using the option repeat on my player. When I burn it to disc, there is a LONG appended to the end that I can't seem to keep the white space. Tried to add some MARKERS of TITLE to get to the end and it did not help. I think this should be obvious, so I'm frustrated. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

  You have some parasitic mounts floating out there beyond the end of your movie and make the program think that your project is longer than what it is.

  Press the-key on your keyboard (above the enter/return key). This will show you your project on the timeline - which in your case is probably a little beyond the end of your movie.

  Click and drag your mouse around this area beyond the end of your movie and press the delete key. This must cling and remove these parasites images. Press the-button, your project should appear to the right length and you can release a new record to the right length.
