  You do not use the graduated filter to adjust the entire image, you use the BASE Panel.  Now, I noticed in your clip to screen your BASE Panel is missing, as the TONE CURVE Panel is the first listed.  To get your BASE right click on back panel header of the TONE CURVE and the menu drop down next appears, so that you can re - turn on the BASE Panel.  This is another long term glitch/bug in Lightroom that is probably hard to track down anyone found a repetitive sequence why signs accidentally goes off.

  You seem to ask for different things.  You want all the lines AB when

  1. The parameter ("2sample' in the example) is NULL, or when
  2. There is no corresponding row in the 2 tables (which could happen even if the parameter is not NULL)

  ?

  Assuming you want the option 2, here's one way:

  Using Mac OS X 10.6.8 with LR 3.4.1

  When you use the graduated filter, that I used to see a place in the Center and lines that indicate that I had covered by the filter. Now, I see only a small mire, no place in centre, no lines. Is this correct? There was an update that removed the stain and lines? I find it difficult to judge what is covered by the filter now.

• Problem with the graduated filter

  When I create a graduated filter I can't drag the filter PIN to change the center point, when I ride my pointer over the PIN that turns into a hand tool that drags the whole filter instead, if I approach one of the lines which is transformed in a rotation tool. Also the graduated filter tool is extremely slow and boring, it's slow it's hard to position accurately.

  You are right. The central axis move move the entire filter. In my view, that it is supposed to do.

  When you approach a line, you should get a + cursor which makes rotation. But when your cursor is on a line, it should change to a hand cursor that comes of moves in a straight line and not running. It seems that you do not get the hand cursor? With the hand cursor, it should be more accurate.

  A few suggestions

  Try to disable the GPU in preferences > performance.

  For filters, try to press O to see if it's the mask you are viewing rather than adjustments.
