Graphics card requirements

Could someone tell me if a named only graphics card as ' iris intel pro 1536 MB ' is good enough to run first pro?  I'm sure I'm good on everything else on my macbook pro - memory, processor, operating system...  Thank you

The Intel Iris Pro that you reference is integrated into the latest Intel integrated graphics engine. I doubt that you can use this card for acceleration, but even if you did, it would be very minimal because these integrated graphics engines are not very powerful, even compared to a $ 200 external card. A score of GTX960 about 6,000 on the PassMark at the Intel Iris Pro is about 1,000.

I understand that it is in a Mac Book pro, so an external card is not feasible.

It will work, but don't expect to see much of the line of acceleration.

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite U400, who shared with the CPU graphics, not a dedicated graphics card. The laptop will play DVD ok without interruption or gel? I guess passes with DVD playback dedicated graphics card? I realize that dedicated graphics cards are good for games and needed to run some demanding games but are shared graphics more than able to play DVD movies?

    Look forward to your reply,

    Thank you.

    Hi MARTIN & SONS,

Graphics card is required to start properly, but for this laptop and play DVD it makes no difference if you have a chip that is integrated or not. That's only important if you play 3D games because they need a lot of performance.

Anyway, you can watch DVDs ;)

, I'm looking for a new laptop and want to be sure that I buy one with the conditions required for Adobe Cloud.  Is the configuration required for Cloud based on different software (eg. All greetings from snowy Russia!

I had to install Win7 on my laptop a31p, in general, I am very pleased with the speed and new features. All the drivers are updated and even managed to get on with the job icon in the system tray
But there is a big problem: I can't find drivers for FireGL 7800 graphics card

I wrote an application for ATI (AMD, now), but or redirect me to Lenovo, referring to the fact that they do not write drivers for these cards.

I would be very grateful for help in finding the driver for Win7 or Vista la!

You can write me an email: barmaley.russia @ gmail.com

You can install driver XP Lenovo, but NOT the ATi Control Panel.

Otherwise, you can play with it:

  • Photoshop cs4 Graphic Card Requirements!

Hello Guyz!  I wanted to learn Photoshop CS4 on my Dell Precision 670 Intel Xeon 2.8 Ghz × 2.8 Ghz with 2 GB of Ram and graphics card Radeon X 300 / X 550 / X 1050 128 MB Series n, I use Windows 7 Ultimate! Now, I can not "enable OpenGL drawing" in Photoshop and I guess I have to change my graphics card to help the cause! Please suggest a graphics card that should work well all through my process of learning Photoshop! Thank you

The ATI Radeon HD 4670 works very well in a system of 470/670 and attracts little energy.  I used this same card for one year in my 470 until I moved to the top of a new workstation.  It was rock solid stable.  Your 670 has a beefier power supply, and it shouldn't be a problem to launch even more eager to be able to use a card.  Reference well Dell built these workstations.

Download 1 GB of the 4670 model.  My experience has been with this card VisionTek version, but there are other brands that have implemented the ATI reference design, and some are pretty good markets.

If you are looking for even more power GPU, ATI 5670 should be a little faster (a little less than 2 times the 4670 to about 2 x the cost performance).

  • HP 110-352na desktop PC: update my graphics card

Im trying to buy a new graphics card which is ASUS STRIX R9 380 OC Gaming graphics card for this computer: HP 110-352na desktop PC. Right now I use AMD Radeon HD 8400 / R3 series. Well, I want to know if the Asus graphics card fits, and if it's working properly.

    Greetings,

Your PC comes with a external power supply 65 watt portable. I don't think it's possible to switch to an internal power supply because of the limitations of the chassis.

THA Asus only graphics card requires up to 225 watts just to power the card.

  • Need advice for the new graphics card

I have a desktop HP Pavilion a6610t with HP w1907 monitors. Windows 7 32 bit.  I want to upgrade to a graphics card that supports two monitors.  Games isn't a factor, but I'd like a card that does not become the neck of the bottle when you surf or work remotely.  I have a PCIe - x 16 available slot.  My price range is around us $100.

What should I look for another as the PCIe - x 16 and the ability to support two monitors when you shop for a graphics card?  I think the AMD Radeon HD 6570 is a good starting point.  What do you think?

    Any information will be appreciated.

Here are the specifications and the configurable option for your desktop HP Pavilion a6610t CTO. According to specifications, your system came from the factory with a 250 watt power supply. Most retail graphics cards require a power supply minimum system assessment of 300 watts or greater. The Radeon HD 6570 you noted requires a 400 watt or a bigger power supply. The CX500, CX600 Corsair are highly recommended, are favorites of the forum and are known to adapt to most cases of HP. • Graphics card double output

I was wondering if there is a video card capable of dual monitor to my HP Pavilion Slimline s5713w desktop PC, Windows 7 64 bit? Also, it will require a bigger PSU, if this slim case will fit it? any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Any PCIe x 16' low - profile' or "low - profile ready" graphics card must fit into your computer. Almost all retail graphics cards require a minimum of 300 watt system power. Power on a HP Slimline computer are not your standard ATX used in most full desktop computers. Based on the physical size of your computer's power supply, AthenaPower.com should have a solution from 300 to 450 watt for your computer. Good luck.

  • HP Pavilion A6603W Graphics card upgrade help.

    Current graphics card:

    GeForce 7100 / nForce 630i (built-in to the motherboard as a chip)

    Power supply #: ATX-250-12Z-REV-D7R (250 Watts I think?)

    Computer model: (HP Pavilion A6603W)

Problem: Trying to figure out which is the best graphic card for upgrade with to keep up to date with current games, such as: battlefield, bad company 2, just cause 2, Amnesia: Dark descent.

Now in regards to food, I'm sure that ill have to level it as well. But I found quite reasonable online at the FRY's Electronics:

    http://www.frys.com/product/5503410

But in regards to the graphics card, I'm completely lost here that I out I can buy and not to buy. most of my games requires at least DirectX10 or more, which only takes my graphics card supported DirectX 9. I also saw that some graphics cards require power slots? I am completely new to this and I would like to have the support of users.

Oh and by the way, the minimum that I can spend is $ 250

    any suggestions?

Thank you for your time and your consideration.

Salko, to play the games you mentioned, you'll need a good mid-level video card.  I like XFX, BFG, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.  The main thing to check is the length of the card.  The newer cards are 10 "or more may not correspond to the expected location.  With a power supply that is at least 500W, you assign choices.

The Antec PSU should be fine.  However, I love OCZ and Corsair PSU for a higher power clean and stable.  They are the two manufacturers PSU enthusiast/gamer.  Check Newegg for a PSU that assign customers (read) and is rated at least 4 eggs.  It is a good indicator of the quality of the product of those who use it.

I also tried looking for a bios update, but I couldn't find one that was on the hp Web site.

Please help I don't want to buy a new motherboard and cpu.

    Hello

Most graphics cards require BIOS version 8 HP.  BIOS version 8 is listed under Windows 8 for your particular model PC.  While the BIOS version 8 will probably support your new graphics card, you might find yourself stuck that Windows 7 will not work using the UEFI. You can install BIOS and then turn on legacy mode and see if the card works. However, if the card is a single card UEFI well then you are in a situation of 'catch' 22 In this case, you would have the BIOS later and W7 should always work in legacy mode.  Even with this BIOS update running in mode inherited that there could be some risk that W7 will not work.  Once you update the BIOS there is no coming back.

    Another thought.

There are no Windows Ultimate 10 version if upgrading to W10 (free upgrade) would you put on the professional version W10. I do not know if that would suit your needs. However, if you have a place in the upgrade by using the W10 iso DVD or flash drive then you could extract the W10 license key so that your could do a clean install with legacy mode turned off in the BIOS that puts your PC into UEFI mode.

You have a few risks to consider.  In addition, HP has not posted the W10 for your PC drivers.

What would I do?  I'd go for it, but then my wallet could be deeper than yours.

  • HP h8m question. Graphics card and power supply.

Hi, I am planning to buy a HP h8m series. I just want to know if it is possible to update the graphics card (by default it is an AMD Radeon HD 6450) to an AMD Radeon 6950. For what I searched there are 2 drawbacks. First is the power supply. Default power, the computer has, I think that it's 300W and the graphic card requires 500W. So my first question is, this computer would be able to manage the change of power supply? The second question that I have, I read on the Internet that this graphics card is physically large in size, so, this computer can fit this graphics card? If there is no response, please can you me better graphics card, it can adapt without worrying about food? I think it can be great information to say that I'm looking animation 3D with this computer so I think I need a good graphics card. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Pablo

Look over thisNVIDIA GTX 57. It has 2 GB of memory, which will help to 3D.  This card is longer and must adapt. You will need a bigger PSU such as recommended by OG.  A Corsair CX600 is a good choice

  • What does that mean? -This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.

I tried viewing a presentation power point and got to page 2 and my computer crashed.  Thought on... what he did previously trying to display a PPP file, but I thought that it was not my computer to the actual file.  now I have my doubts and also this time an error message came that said... This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.  can someone tell me what I should do next?

You left out which version of DirectX has been shown.

As far as I know, your Intel 945GM should support DirectX 9 and because you have XP sp3, you must have at least DirectX 9 installed.

I met the following, but it shouldn't apply to Powerpoint:

Some such as the Intel 945 GM Intel video cards have a design limitation which may cause problems when you try to run the Source Engine games. 3D graphics kernel does not support transformation of material, light and the vertex shader to similar technologies, which is an important part of the pipeline of 3D acceleration. Instead, this functionality is emulated in software that can reduce the compatibility and performance with 3D games.

I don't have a solution for you (assuming that DXDIAG, in fact, reports to have DirectX 9 or higher).  You can see if you install a new driver support, but if it were me, I would be first contact Acer technical support or ask your question in another forum as one of the following conditions:

    Intel graphics Forum: http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/graphics
Forum PowerPoint: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/powerpoint (select the corresponding forum for your version of Powerpoint).  Include the results of DxDiag, including the version of DirectX.  If there is something unusual about the image that causes the crash, include this info as well.

Normally, for notebook/laptop computer, it is better to get the drivers of the mfr of computer rather than the manufacturer of the device.

Acer drivers for your computer are here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=535 (you want the Intel VGA for XP driver)

Intel has a newer driver: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Internet+Devices&ProductLine=Netbooks&ProductProduct=Mobile+Intel%C2%AE+945GM+Express+Chipset+Family
It's the main Intel support page: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/945gm

  • Requirement of the graphics card dedicated for BB10 simulator

Hi, the blackvery website developer, I found the infromation that BB10 Simulator requires NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or higher to an ATI Radeon HD 2600 or higher graphic. This affects when even if the pc has the graphics card integrated rather than required. I mean I can run the Simulator very well, but this will affect anyway if I run an opengl project in the Simulator? Thank you.

The BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator uses OpenGL 2.0.  If your graphics card does not support it you can have problems (some only show a black screen).

If you see a black screen you can try the software rendering mode (choose option 2 before boots simulator), but you could still see some rendering issues using this mode.  In addition, it is going to be slower.
