Laptop & graphics card required for Adobe Cloud?

Hi all

, I'm looking for a new laptop and want to be sure that I buy one with the conditions required for Adobe Cloud.  Is the configuration required for Cloud based on different software (eg. Photoshop, After Effects, Flash, etc.) or are there requirements just to use the Cloud?  I don't know much about computers so I'm having a hard time find one that meets the required conditions.  I would be very happy if someone who already uses clouds of Adobe can provide suggestions.  I'm not an Apple person, currently I'm looking in the following laptops:

Dell Inspiron 14z:

3rd generation Intel Core i5 processor

8 GB memory

500 GB 5400 RPM SATA HDD and SSD 32 GB mSATA

AMD Radeon HD7570M 1 GB video card

Dell Inspiron 14R:

4th generation Intel Core processor i5-4200U

8 GB memory

1 TB SATA hard drive 5400 RPM

Graphics Intel HD 4400

Sony Vaio did:

3rd generation Intel Core i5 processor

NVIDIA GeForce GT M 740 graphics card (1 GB) hybrid

750 GB (5400 RPM) hard drive

8 GB (4 GB x 2) DDR3L - 1600 MHz

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Thanks Ashish!  It looks like Microsoft Windows or Mac OS and internect connection is required for the creative cloud desktop app, so I think I have it is not to worry about the system requirements for each program of the meeting?

  • Which is the best graphic card (fromNvidia) for the first and after?

    Hello, that is the question.

Which is the best graphic card (fromNvidia) for the first and after? In order to improve the performance of preview and rendering time.

It's the Gtx 970 good enough? or do I have to go to the 980ti?

Is there any other better Nvidia in both these needs?

I have these specs and I work in Full HD:

    I7 4900, 32 GB of ddr3 memory, ssd.

    Thank you in advance.

I don't know about these two maps first, but AE the GPU makes very little difference at all.

The current version of AE uses the GPU to very little. The ray-traced rendering engine is the only great thing that AE uses the GPU and this feature is now considered obsolete.

That being said, if you are using third-party plugins for AE using the GPU (as, for example), it's a different story. For the element, I heard that the 970 GTX is the best bang for your buck; the 980-up would not be worth the price difference.

    Hey JohnDF !

Capture CC replaced (or engulfed) color CC. The minimum requirement is 4.4 Android (see the requirements here: Adobe Capture CC - Android applications on Google Play).

I would like to know if I can help with anything else!

  • Graphics card external for my laptop?

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1340sa - it has an integrated graphics card and therefore cannot be upgraded * sigh *, however I have heard of external graphics cards. Is it possible to use one with this laptop? And if so it will be reasonably priced or should I just buy a desktop computer?

Completely disappointed that I can't play my games

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, forget the external graphics card. They are expensive and really just aim to enable multiple monitors to be used. They are not powerful enough for the games. USB 3.0 is much better, but your laptop doesn't have a USB 3.0 ports.

  • HP Envy m6 for computer laptop graphics card problem

I had problems with my Intel Hd 4600 graphics card.

First, it is not compatible with Mudbox 2014 and has problems of execution of tasks in 2015 Mudbox.

As noted above, the paint does not work.

Second, the graphics card played terribly with decks of low-level and Maya 2014 therefore lagging behind.

Is there a way to solve the problem with Mudbox 2015?

Or do I have to update the graphics, if possible?

How long have you had? Basically, no laptop computer has a graphics card which is expandable. Actually not 100% true but the exceptions are so rare that they might as well not exist. If in need of something more powerful for the production of graphics or game was a basis to return the laptop everyone would back his laptop. I don't work for HP and you could call them and see what they will do, but I don't hold much hope for you.

  • Win 7 on a31p / driver for FireGL7800 graphics card required

    All greetings from snowy Russia!

I had to install Win7 on my laptop a31p, in general, I am very pleased with the speed and new features. All the drivers are updated and even managed to get on with the job icon in the system tray
But there is a big problem: I can't find drivers for FireGL 7800 graphics card

I wrote an application for ATI (AMD, now), but or redirect me to Lenovo, referring to the fact that they do not write drivers for these cards.

I would be very grateful for help in finding the driver for Win7 or Vista la!

You can write me an email: barmaley.russia @ gmail.com

You can install driver XP Lenovo, but NOT the ATi Control Panel.

Otherwise, you can play with it:

    Good luck.

  • Requirement of the graphics card dedicated for BB10 simulator

Hi, the blackvery website developer, I found the infromation that BB10 Simulator requires NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or higher to an ATI Radeon HD 2600 or higher graphic. This affects when even if the pc has the graphics card integrated rather than required. I mean I can run the Simulator very well, but this will affect anyway if I run an opengl project in the Simulator? Thank you.

The BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator uses OpenGL 2.0.  If your graphics card does not support it you can have problems (some only show a black screen).

If you see a black screen you can try the software rendering mode (choose option 2 before boots simulator), but you could still see some rendering issues using this mode.  In addition, it is going to be slower.

  • Re: Satellite U400 - is a graphics card required to play the DVD?

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite U400, who shared with the CPU graphics, not a dedicated graphics card. The laptop will play DVD ok without interruption or gel? I guess passes with DVD playback dedicated graphics card? I realize that dedicated graphics cards are good for games and needed to run some demanding games but are shared graphics more than able to play DVD movies?

    Look forward to your reply,

    Thank you.

    Hi MARTIN & SONS,

Graphics card is required to start properly, but for this laptop and play DVD it makes no difference if you have a chip that is integrated or not. That's only important if you play 3D games because they need a lot of performance.

Anyway, you can watch DVDs ;)

  • Can I update my Y410 laptop graphics card (7757)? He already have Intel 965 express chipset...

I think if I can add a graphics card for my laptop and it is it will work properly?

I know, another technique of Y410 comes with the NVIDIA graphics card, and I wonder if it can be added to my laptop.

For your info, my laptop runs on Windows XP with Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo and 2 GB of RAM DDR2 (800 Mhz)

One last thing, what is the maximum RAM I can use in windows XP?

The GPU is not extensible. I had a Y410 at some point. I also wanted to know if I can move to a better GPU from Intel built-in one. Unfortunately, laptops with an integrated GPU Y410 is the port required for a discrete GPU. Unfortunately, this is the case with most laptops with integrated graphics.

  • Vs CPU Ram graphic card upgrade for Mac pro performance?

Just after the crossroads to aboard the cloud to Adobe and seeks help on CPU Ram vs graphics card GPU.

    Material:

    • MAC Pro (early 2009) 4.1 2.26 Ghzdual core 8, 23 grams (5 x 4 g sticks and sticks of 3 x 1 G), 4 x 1 TB 7200 RPM int. HD (1 scratch drive), (no windows don't things here)
    • Graphics card Ge Force GT120 Machine has 64-bit capability, but normally starts in 32- bit due to old still used 32-bit apps.
    • Watch CS6 AE activity monitor uses all 16 son, works in 64 bitsand seizes about 10 Gig of ram to operate in.

    Software:

    • Running OS x 10.6.8. (Snow leopard) with all updates.
    • All major video applications: creative cloud (also have studio FCP 3 installed but just move to Adobe now on video works)

I really like this AE & body use all threads, made in the background (which results in NO crashes (so far)) because my old 120 GT video card apparently is more stifling that it worked in FX in FCP 7 & 4 Motion.

    1. Q - can someone point me in the direction of how Adobe got the device to use all the cores and threads and run it in 64-bit, but starts in 32 bit?

In terms of performance, (rendered in particular) I know I should go to the Apple/ATI 5870 graphics card, but as a veterinarian of fixed-income securities disabled, $450 is hard to find. I evaluated cards flashes, including those of macvidcards on ebay, but for used cards which are flashed, it gives me pause, especially when they are about the same price as the new price of 5870.

So I am struggling with trying to figure out that the best shot for the less $$$, where the issue of the title.

    1. Is it more effective for video FX works to add CPU ram or (gulp) to upgrade the video card to 5870 card?

Example: I can add sticks of 3 x 4 G in place and place existing 3 x 1 G sticks of ram for less than $200 CPU. A new 5870 card is $ 450 Apple. Approach that annoys me that most make speed plant put VFX work in AE CS6 or P Pro CS6?

Sorry, I'm more than a little fuzzy on this, but hoping a kind soul will lead the way.

    Ken

For After Effects, more RAM is better. For Premiere Pro, an improved GPU is more important. In addition, you might consider spending money even on an SSD, which is beneficial for both (for caches).
