Greek Government restrictions in foreign currencies

I'm a Greek customer pay with my credit card each month. All Greek citizens are however recently faced with the same problem: Government has restricted all personal foreign operations and our credit cards do not work. This was done at the Center to allow the Greek State avoids bankruptsy. My credit card is completely up-to-date, but adobe cannot draw any money from it because the Government restriction on all Greek citizens. Y at - it a Greek account where we can pay our monthly payments now that we cannot send money abroad? In the case where I have a friend with US citizenship will you accept his card?
I know that Google has opened Greek accounts to facilitate the situation.

If you have an answer to this pls send me.

Thanks in advance,

  • translation using units of foreign currency per dollar

We currently use the mechanism of translation integrated HFM for most of our accounts, i.e., enter us exchange rates in dollars per unit of foreign currency for a year-end rate and a rate of profit and loss and allow HFM to translate. Is it possible to use default translation using reverse rates, i.e. the translation of units of foreign currency for a dollar? Of course, this would imply that the rate would be divided into the amount of currency entity instead of multiply.

I realize that we could do that through conversion rules for all these accounts, but I would prefer to use the mechanism by default, if possible.

    Sofia,
Your answer is not correct. The translation operator field applies only to transactions - given in the intercompany transaction module which must translate intercompany. It does not apply to the translation of normal data of HFM.

It comes to page 95 in HFM Administrator's guide:

Specifies the calculation of conversion for intercompany transactions. The default value is empty. Specify
    one of the following values:
l D to calculate the local currency by dividing the currency of the transaction by rate
l M to calculate the local currency by multiplying the currency of the transaction by rate
l empty by default the value of D

  • Withholding tax in foreign currency

    Hello
I implemented a supplier site to work with the withholding tax. After I recorded a new invoice, the system creates a new line in this Bill by crediting the account of compensation with the foreign currency. But when it creates the new invoice for tax administration, it creates in the functional currency, and not in foreign currency.

Please help me how to set up the system so that it creates the invoice in foreign currency.

    Thank you.

    Hello.

It is not possible to create invoices for the withholding tax in foreign currency. According to planned features these bills will always created in the functional currency, as the tax will still be paid in a functional currency to the tax administration.

  • Error when creating a receipt of foreign currency by using the Create_Cash API

    Hello

I'm working on the conversion of AR received in R12 and try to create receipts using AR_RECEIPT_API_PUB. CREATE_CASH.
Reception is created successfully when the currency_code is USD. Method of reception that I'm passing is "manually".

When the currency_code is not USD (EUR in my case), I pass the values p_exchange_rate_type and p_exchange_rate_date.
But without creating the receipt of currency giving error - error API: AR_RAPI_RCT_MD_NAME_INVALID.

When I tried to look at the API for this error, I don't see this error in the API. I see an error with the name 'AR_RAPI_RCPT_MD_NAME_INVALID', but nothing shows up for the error "AR_RAPI_RCT_MD_NAME_INVALID" ("P" missing "RCPT"). I don't know where this error is calling from?

I don't know why the API is mistake out for foreign currency receipts saying reception method name is invalid. But it works very well for currency_code USD with the same name of method of reception.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Increase the length of the column - restriction key foreign vs MS SQL

    Hello

I need to increase the length of the column (nvarchar) in some tables. Between these tables are foreign keys.

When I try to do it on MS SQL databases using the command as "ALTER TABLE TABLE_NAME ALTER COLUMN column NAME NVARCHAR (50) NULL" then I get the error like below:

Column ' dbo. TABLEA. NAME ' is not the same length or scale as the referencing column or the 'FKNAME' object depends on the column 'name'.

Therefore resume, on MS SQL I drop all constraints, alter table and re-create constraints.

When I do this same thing on the oracle database (oracle database a same pattern as MS SQL database, same fk, same tables, columns, etc.) using the command as "ALTER TABLE table_name MODIFY COLUMN NVARCHAR2 (40);  " then length is change without any erros and I wounder t - it a correct situation on oracle? -all the constraints are enabled. Oracle checks the length of data to foreign key columns?

As I understand the error (ORA-02267: column type incompatible with the type of the referenced column) is the show that if the data type name is not equal between data tables not type length (?)

    To reproduce:

    1 create tables

    CREATE TABLE "TABLEA".

(ACTIVATE THE 'NAME' NVARCHAR2 (20) NOT NULL,)

    NUMBER OF "TEXTID",.

    'PK_TABLEA' CONSTRAINT PRIMARY KEY ("NAME")

    );

    CREATE TABLE 'TABLEB.

    (SELECT 'ID' NUMBER NOT NULL,)

    NVARCHAR2 (10) "NAME."

    NUMBER OF "WWW."

    "TABLEB' ('ID') PRIMARY KEY CONSTRAINT

    );

    2. create the fk

    ALTER TABLE TABLEB ADD CONSTRAINT FK_TABLEB FOREIGN KEY ('NAME') REFERENCES 'TABLEA' ('NAME');

On MS SQL, you get an error message on the same length of column ;) no

    Thank you

    Best regards

    Mateusz

Whatever it is, the answer seems to be here: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17952_01/refman-5.5-en/create-table-foreign-keys.html

"Corresponding columns in the foreign key and the referenced key must have similar data types. The size and the sign of the integer types must be the same. The length of the string types are not necessarily the same. For the non-binary (character) string, the character set and collation columns must be the same. "

  • Currency of screen-Forengn PSI + functional currency

    Dear Dina,

In the PSI (project status inquiry) screen, you can find the total costs of a project at a given date. It supports a currency which is the functional currency. The surprising thing is that, when an expense (such as equipment for example) comes to the project of module purchase through purchase order for this particular project, & if this purchase order is in foreign currency, this amount is added to the total costs of the project in the PSI display without conversion of the foreign currency functional currency!

This is quite surprising for a product of the Oracle, & defeats one of the main objectives of the PSI screens that monitors projects total expenditures.

Please confirm the above and pass your comments on how we can overcome this problem.

    Thanks a lot n advance

    Hello

PSI go and explore the real.
You should see the form resembles the spending survey. Check the currency and quantity also here.

If you still see the problem, you may need to open a SR with Oracle session. I'm not aware of any reason that could do that.

  • Power of the exchange rate in numbers

    Hello

I create a Position size in numbers calculator for managing risk in the trading game. More commercial instruments denominated in foreign currencies and to work on what I am risking in Australian dollars, I need exchange rate feed numbers to calculate. Most of the time it would be the rate of exchange between the Australia and the United States. Otherwise, I would have to manually enter the exchange rate.

Is it possible to do, if so how? I guess one would use a site like Yahoo Finance!

    Thanks in advance...

    Graeme

You can get a rate of Exchange directly in a cell numbers, where a spreadsheet formula can then access elsewhere in the sheet.

Here's a script AppleScript to do this, and uses Ruby to request and return the exchange rate of Yahoo. The hypothesis of the AppleScript is that tell you him what cell you want released in the exchange rate, and you already have the open Numbers worksheet.

Ruby code was borrowed from Github with the assignment of all destinies.

The request to Yahoo returns a CSV table as [[l1, d1, t1, S, b, a]] where just the last trade price is captured (e.g. [1]). You can reference these and other symbols here:

    • s = symbol
    • L1 = last trade price *.
    • D1 = date of the last transaction
    • T1 = last trade times
    • b = the bid price
    • a = asking price

  • BlackBerry smartphones can I buy apps using my debit card?

    Hello

    My post is this postdouble.

I am trying to buy a few apps through app world. I have the paypal account, but every time I try to buy something. I get this error:

your transaction has not been processed. Please try your purchase again. (Error Id: 30261)

I found this post that explains how to fix at the top of the error. I'll try that later because I have something to say in this post.

what I'm trying to ask in this post, that's why can't buy apps using my debit card? I see that two options are credit cards and Paypal. It's honestly very few options for a device management company wide world like Blackberry.

I live in India and honestly, there are several features of Blackberry that make me say WTF.. ?

I'll list some of these features WTF here:

    1. Low autonomy (1230 mAh) - honestly, making mobile a little thicker for a good battery life would have been better.
    2. Cannot use my internet network, which is cheap, on my Mobile.
    3. Even though I have BIS, that the internet can't access my laptop. I need to have more internet network also.
    4. Only two options to purchase an app that is, credit card or paypal. What happens to users who do not have both? (if you guys decided to have your customers simply rich Fellows don't launch then at the market of the middle class of the population).

Man, I'm really * beep * off... I don't even know that to say this... my friends just listen and laugh.

Please tell me if I can buy debit cards or not?

PS: In addition to the features above of WTF, I love my torch BB 9860 because of its design and of course the motion detector. Many times it is run out of battery and I saw this mobile Virgin displayed to feel the beautiful design. (Waiting for an update soon to fix the bug of battery life)

Payment for app purchases depends on several factors, very few of them controlled by BlackBerry. If BlackBerry had his way, you would be able to walk into your local convenience store and buy an app with money. Many factors, including government restrictions, decide how you can pay.

For example, here in the Canada I can put an app purchase directly on my monthly bill of the cell with my carrier, Rogers. This is because BlackBerry offers this service to the Canada, approved by the Government and Rogers supports. As I said, if BlackBerry could do that for all carriers in the world, he would.

I hope that clarifies things for you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones No. for the Telecom Serbia software?

Hi, I would like to reinstall the software on my bb9900, but when I went to download the software to download sites / my provider I get message "this software download is not yet available in your country for regulatory reasons. Please check back for future availability. »

Hello and welcome to the community!

If you can get the operating system package, you should be able to use any bundle of BONES of any carrier, as long as it's for your specific device model. However, from what you said, I assume that your BB has nothing to do with the problem you are having... on the contrary, your computer, Internet provider seems to block your access (from your computer) to the packages to other carriers OS download site. It is perhaps unique to each country... maybe you should try other companies in other countries to see if you can find that your ISP is not blocking.

In addition, we cannot answer why they would block... but noises from the error message you posted, I guess that it is a Government restriction in your country, which of course the BB can not overcome or violent.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry, change of sim card and ID blackberry Smartphones roaming charges

I did a little research and although have found similar cases, I'm not quite sure if this has been covered completely. Please forgive me if it has.

I'm going abroad in Germany for a year, and it is useless to cancel me my current plan of the monthly British payroll with Vodaphone. As far as I know my blackberry is unlocked at the international level - I put an old, German o2 pay as you go sim in my phone. Seemed to work very well (sign of o2 Germany, received a message on homelessness in the UK, etc.), but I had no credit so couldn't test. I registered again my user ID of blackberry on my home wi-fi. But other that I couldn't do much to verify the extent of my use.

However, I heard various accounts of not being able to use e-mail, internet, wipe the contacts, etc..

If someone could clarify this, here are my questions:

    • If I take my sim UK vodaphone, is anyway I have accumulate roaming charges? Is my blackberry ID, potentially with a new German supplier, related to my old?
    • Will he make any question tries to access my email, bbm, whatsapp, etc., with a different number and in a different country.

One has experience in this area, in Germany (a long shot), Europe or world? It seems that the whole ID blackberry complicates things.

My phone is a Blackberry Bold 9900, AFAIK its software wise update - I have updated today with the "Bundle 2061 7.1" I think.

    Thank you

    J.

Hello and welcome to the community!

There are a number of problems to know for what you propose... Here are my thoughts... (Note that I have traveled internationally widely enough with a BB).

If you activate a plan of itinerant international with the support of your home, you should be able to keep your current SIM card in your BB and have all the features anywhere where you are allowed (according to what your home carrier active). Costs are not small in general, but your home operator is the only entity that can tell you if it will work and for how much money. My personal experience with this method was difficult, it took two 'stranded' international travel before my carrier home could properly configure my account for full international roaming I needed. And once my BB was out of my home network, there was nothing else they could do... so the two 'fail' the TRIPS Agreement.

Given that your BB is unlocked, you can use it on other carriers, simply by changing your SIM card. But with BB, it is not quite as simple as that.

No BB does exist (indeed, no device anywhere that I know of) that has all the radio technologies/frequencies within the view are just too many in the world. Thus, your first task is to ensure that your BB has the ability to the same function on the support networks you want to use it on. You must study the capabilities of your specific BB against the requirements of networks you will operate on... you may need to ask those network operators for more details.

If this element is satisfied, which then verifies that you have services at the level of the voice (calls, voice mail, SMS). But for level data services, increase complications.

Each company chooses patterns specific to BB (by model number) that they will promote "automatically". I do not know the carriers that have their network configured to support all the model numbers of BB. If the carrier you wish to automatically use your BB model number on media, then their system will be able to automatically deliver to your BB Service books required in order to activate the BB exclusive services (email, BBM, etc.). But, if their network does not natively support your specific model BB number, then their network is not likely to be able to automatically deliver these Service for your BB books... which will prevent the use of their network BB exclusive services. Again, you must inquire carriers on which you want to run if your specific model BB number is supported by their network for the automatic distribution of maintenance book.

In addition, it is to ensure that your home carrier frees your BB PIN of their system of BIS. A BB PIN can exist in only one carrier BIS system anywhere in the world... so if your home carrier doesn't release him, then the other carrier will not be able to allocate a BIS account for you, and you still won't be able to use services BIS of them. In this case, it is usually a matter of contact your supplier of home and convince them to release your BB PIN of their system of BIS.

If all goes well and all the conditions are met, then it can be quite transparent to switch between carriers, simply by changing your SIM card, ensure that each SIM card includes good BIS Services this carrier of course.
But if anything this either in the chain requirements above fails, it can sometimes be frustrating to make the things work pretty well (reminds me of my two "failed" international travel).

So, with all this as preamble, now to your questions...

    jpfp wrote:

    • If I take my sim UK vodaphone, is anyway I have accumulate roaming charges? Is my blackberry ID, potentially with a new German supplier, related to my old? J.

Given what you describe, I see no for Vodaphone to charge you roaming charges. Without their SIM in your BB, your BB may not even try to use any resource of Vodaphone. But, you will need to get confirmation of Vodaphone on this point... so that they control all services, billing, etc. for your account. BB services you are subordinate to your main carrier services... you need the services of the main carrier to provide network connectivity services BB riding on this network connection.

    jpfp wrote:

    • Will he make any question tries to access my email, bbm, whatsapp, etc., with a different number and in a different country.

There are always opportunities for questions. When you use a different SIM card, you are constrained to some services that provide the SIM. If it does not, for example, BIS level services, then you won't access to people. Similarly, if there is some government restrictions for some services, you can be restricted from that as well. If you get a SIM card with full services of BIS and, as described above, you spent all of the required components that I have listed, then you should be able to have all the services you listed. It is possible that you may need to reconfigure your email... There are stories about these configurations if shattered when change carriers... but the BBID integration is intended to facilitate this exact type of change of carrier, so it should not happen. But don't we can, of course, no promises.

    Good luck!

    Hello

Here is the catalog page AppWorld:

The India is not listed in the section connects to the "supported countries"... I can only imagine what is 'why', but normally does this have to do with government restrictions in this country. There are probably a few features of the new BBM the India has yet to be approved.

    I hope this helps!

  • Adobe customer service - history

    Hello

I want to describe my problem here as support-contacting Adobe customer seems to got to a point where there is nothing happens and I'm ignored. I want the community to know the level of support Adobe provides for a paying customer and things will stop here.

If someone wants to check the situation my number is 0215257780.

All started when my credit card was expiring and I tried to update my payment information. It didn't work, so the next thing I did was to contact Customer Support. I was provided with a link where I should have updated my payment information, I filled out the form and submitted it. The guy said he tried a few times to start billing in order to update the payment method, but failed. I tried fill once again and it finally worked. The next day I saw that on my bank account that I have been ripped off with the equivalent of 10 subscription fee, each as a separate transaction (499.99 EUROS). I immediately contacted Adobe about the chat in order to correct the situation, given that the funds were still hanging in the Bank, and if Adobe have asked them if they were released without any problem. The cat guy said it will open a ticket and will solve the situation. Next day or so I contact support by telephone to ask them to get the situation resolved as quickly as possible. After all, they ripped 499.99 EUROS from my account without reason. The Lady on the phone was very nice and had an Indian accent told me that the situation will be supported. And then I saw nothing happening and to contact support to request a letter from them stating that the funds were borrowed by my account error. This letter was used with the Bank to cancel the payments. The guys at assistance chat customer made about 4 errors until the letter was created (writing $ instead of EUR and even if I provided the correct information, etc.). I got my letter, out of my transaction, empty the bank account, so I see that on the side of Adobe, they have nothing did, in my Bank appearing with - 499.99 EUR debt. After 10 days, they go to the bottom of it and refund the money. Meanwhile another transaction of 49.99 was made. Who has been refunded too a few days later. However, because of my multiple transactions and I use a foreign currency, the money back were in fact less than transactions. Not to mention the transaction fees. I explained the situation in support of customer requesting a free month subscription to a CC for the trouble. No response to this request. I also asked them to speak to a supervisor or to provide me with an email address to file a complaint. Someone had to pay for all this bs. Ten days ago and no response. It of like the Indian customer support took over the company and are covering each other * and Adobe staff does not know what is actually happening. This is outrageous. Another transaction (12) of EUR 49.99 had occurred in parallel with my monthly subscription yet a few days ago. It's like a never-ending nightmare. Who is responsible in this company? Who runs it? Customer support, really?

I have no problem to the cancellation of my subscription and is going to start to use the tools of the competition. I am paying for the tools that Macromedia created and continues to use them when Adobe took over. Since then, many things improvided but also went down. After so many years, I feel as I am ignored, and I speak for myself as a customer is the worst case.

    Hello Bogdan,

One can certainly understand that your experience with our support team was not good at all. Please accept my sincere apologies for the same thing.

I will accelerate this issue probably. Please use the private Message that I sent to you, so that we can help you properly.
