Greyed songs in music app using 3 G

Hello

When I try to listen to music using the Apple Watch, if I'm not connected to wifi I can't listen to any song that had not been played before.

All songs appear as unavailable or greyed when I use the 3G / 4G. If I connect to wifi, all the songs are available again.

I looked for an option in the iPhone or the app Apple Watch enable the application of music to aid in respect of mobile connections, but I found nothing.

Any suggestion?

Thank you =)

Hello

To listen to the music directly from Apple Watch, you can sync a playlist to it.

Before you sync the playlist to your watch, you will first need to download all the music stored in the cloud (for example, Apple's music, iTunes game).

To listen to this playlist, you need to first pair Bluetooth headset to your watch.

  • Music App force closes during playback of a song

I recently tried to download the beta for iOS on my iPhone 10 6. After the test, I decided to downgrade my phone to iOS 9.3.2,and most of my stuff was still the same as before, but when I tried to open the music application, album covers of the song have been kidnapped and he had an icon gray with the sign of the music. When I tried to play a song, the music app force closes, without playing the song. I tried the app from the app Chooser and forced to restart my phone to compensation, but the problem is still there. What should I do to get the application of music to start to play the songs again?

Unfortunately, it's the kind of thing that happens when you try to beta software. I hope that you have made a backup before installing the beta. This article may help: https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/faq

If you want to return to a previously published version, you must first delete the beta software, and then re - install the latest version of iOS and finally restore from your backup iTunes saved previously.

  • Can you still use stars to rate songs in the music app?

Can you still use stars to rate songs in the music app?  That's how my itunes library is organized, and when I get new songs on my phone I would rate it.

    Hi Eric,.

Yes, you can always classify a song with stars in the app music with iOS 9.2.   When you choose to start a song, the Miniplayer will appear.  Tap the song title to see the player Now Playing view (full-screen).  Tap the title again in this point of view and you will see five points.  Press the point that represents your side.  (Ex. If you type the fourth point, you will see four stars).

The now playing view will remain open, it will be later songs of rate they play.  Pressing the arrow down in the upper left corner will take you back to the sight of MiniPlayer.

  • Cannot add songs to then put in the iOS 10.0 music app.

Just what the title says. I also talk about loaded music from my iTunes library, not Apple Music. In previous versions of iOS, the three points presented next to everything on the application of music to give the possibility to add a maximum of next and now, it is only for albums, not songs. I've used this feature much and I'm sure that Apple has done away with her somehow to take advantage of the features of Apple's music (which I don't use), but it's frustrating to have to everything manually reorganize rather than choosing. I was wondering if there is a setting to get that back, or if it is gone for good.

    Hello STYT13,

Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know the importance of being able to add songs to music's next playing on your iPhone is up to you! The good news is that the following steps will help you understand how to put in place the songs in your queue next play in the music app. All while playing a song, drag down on the now playing screen and press the library option in the lower left corner of the music app. In library view, type songs and find the song you want to add. Then tap and hold on the song and a menu will appear with the options, including play. I have personally tested myself, so I hope this helps and here is more on options while playing songs in-app music.

music app crashes on iOS when I press on play

    Hello ach1252,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

From your post, I understand that when you press play to listen to a song in the music app, the music app crashes. I love listening to my music too! In a situation like this, I first recommend you restart your iPhone 6s.

This article is the measures to restart your iPhone:

If the problem persists after restarting your iPhone 6s, does happen with all the songs you are trying to read or it comes up with one of the songs you are trying to play?

  • Sometimes my iPad play a song without music launched App.

This does not happen often, so I don't understand what I do to start this. But some times I use my iPad Air and about something (I think it's in this case) and it has nothing to do with music and music application is not launched, and all of a sudden, a song will randomly start playing.

Check my Apps launched, the music is not on. The only way to stop it is to drag the menu screen from the bottom to the top and there, I'll see the song playing and I can pause.

Nobody knows what this behavior is and how to stop it from happening, or why this is happening? Any info will be helpful.

    Thank you

    Steven

I've heard of that happening but never heard of the case. When you lift the control center and see the playback of the song you can what source music app? After listening to the music you double click the home button and drag up the application to ensure that it is closed. The music with their ability to play in the background apps are the only applications requiring this closure force to ensure that they are closed.

  • See all the songs of the artist to IOS 10 music app?

Is there a way to display all the songs by an artist under iOS 10?  In the early music app I could find or choose an artist and all songs belong rather than album covers. I want to scroll down any, not one album at a time.

I'm with you on this one. This is also the case for gender, for example. Now if I go in my kind of rock library, I will get all my albums of rock. We should be able to choose if we want to see the list of songs within this genre. Just like in iTunes.

  • music 9 plays the song wrong iOS app

    I have an iPhone 6 s, version 64 GB running iOS 9.3.1.

I found that very often when I play music in the music app, I'll try to select a song and instead to play this song, it will play the song under him, or the song two or three under where I selected. This isn't a question "you must have shuffle." It seems that other people have had this problem since iOS 7. Music force the application to quit and restart the phone seems to solve the problem for a while until he back randomly.

There is nothing wrong with my touch screen, it works perfectly fine. The songs are there, I can play if I choose a song, two or three preceding that I want to play or if I ask Siri to play the song. At first, I thought maybe my phone somehow lose data from the music and the song to jump because he couldn't play, but this is obviously not the issue. If people had problems of this kind in the iOS 7 I would have thought by iOS 9.3.1 it was something that's been fixed now.

Anyone else have any ideas? It's really annoying.

After some research, I found that somehow the shuffle function has something to do with this problem because it disappears if I turn off shuffle. However, while shuffle is on and sat for a while, he will refuse to play the song as I type, rather play another song usually songs, that I hit the underside of the. If I disable the shuffle, the problem goes away for a while, even though I turn on shuffle immediately. But eventually the phone will not play the song that I select. It's the strangest thing I've seen my phone so far.

  • Music.app kills my battery, but I do not even use

Music.app is absolutely hammering my iPhone battery. 25% in about an hour.

Well, I almost never use Music.app (I'm not a listener of music). The last time I opened (except to try and understand why the devil is hammering my battery) months ago.

I have no idea what he's doing and why. I can't delete or disable the background refresh because Apple says I can't.

Does someone have an idea how I can stop this stupid application, I use not yet turn my phone into a brick before noon every day?

(I must say, Apple has done an amazing job of bringing the Music.app right level iTunes.)

  • iPhone 6 s think is store songs, but the music app does not work

I've upgraded to an iPhone 6s, and I restored it to my backup so that all my contacts on my phone.

I do not keep the music on my phone because it takes place, and I can just listen to my library of music to iCloud. However, each song that I play, my phone displays I'll keep the songs on my phone, but the music app always said that I don't have any songs downloaded on my phone. I'm especially worried about it because I had a problem with my previous phone where I didn't keep all the music on my phone, but for some reason any much space was taken over on my phone. I fear that my phone will fill with songs, but not recognize them (which can be irrational, but who knows). In any case, here are a few screenshots to show you what I'm talking about is about, what happens to someone else?

    1. you can see it says there are "59 songs" on my phone

    2. when I go to music app and search for downloaded music...

    3. it's screen (which indicates that I did not download the music on my phone)

    4. after a few minutes of songs, has increased the number of "Songs on my iphone..."

... And when I go to the "manage storage" section in the settings, the music app does not appear as an application that takes place (because apparently there isn't any music inside)

I'm worrying needlessly, or is my phone slyly fills with music?

So I discovered that after turning off "iCloud music library" under the "Music" tab in the settings, it displays much fewer songs on the 'About' page (although I still have none), and it showed that I had more than about 1 GB of storage space. So, I concluded that indeed, while I listen to music from my library iCloud, he should secretly Store songs on my phone (and perhaps easier streaming later?), and turn off streaming iCloud removes these songs. This is exactly what I wanted to know, but at least I can the hypothesis a little more on what iCloud music is streaming.

  • iTunes can't locate my music. When I try to play a song one get an exclamation point and the message "the song could not be used because the original file cannot be found. You want to locate?

I don't know if I am posting this in the right place. If she must be somewhere else please let me know.

When I try to play a song I get an exclamation point next to the song and a pop up that says: "the song could not be used because the original file cannot be found. You want to locate? »

I use Windows 10 and iTunes version 12.3.1.

It's the path statement where the music is currently located on my hard drive:

If I click on a single song from within File Explorer, it opens iTunes and the song plays without problem.

To try to solve this problem, I went in 'Advanced' in 'Préférences' and changed the iTunes media folder location to match the location of the files on my disk hard as you can see below.

Unfortunately, it did not work either. iTunes is always gives me the same message that it cannot locate the original files. I REALLY hope someone can help me finally tried for weeks to solve this problem.

    Thank you!

Now iCloud is down, if something happens on the end of apples.

  • I get 0xc00d36c4 or 0xc00d11cd(0x4) error codes when I play the songs in the music app

    Original title: music app

Get 0xc00d36c4 or 0xc00d11cd(0x4) error codes trying to read some files ripped from my own CD other files ripped in the same way on the same PC playing okay. Why is this and how can it be fixed. I ran the app store already.

    Thanks for the reply.

I spent hours experimenting as WMA files will not play that have been ripped from my own CD using windows medial player 9 on the same PC.

I finally found the answer - I need to uncheck the "copy protect music" in the tools/options - tab music copy in media player!

I can't believe that the system is so sensitive and so poor error messages. I don't know how the box checked in the first place, but now I have to spend hours to re-rip my CD to put on my Surface! hum Ho!

  • XBox Music app is not read the labels of the song of library on network

So I have my library of music stored on a file server.  I'm also on a Windows domain.  I added the location of the music to the area of music under library on my PC in Windows 8.  However, when I load the Xbox Music application, all my songs appear as unknown artist / unknown album.  It does not simply read the file tags.

With a different music, such as Windows Media Player or Zune, these two programs player read the MP3 tags very well.

I copied an album in the My Music folder on my HDD, and then the Xbox music app seems to recognize the tags very well.  However, I owe much music to record on my local computer.  In addition, I prefer to keep on file for all server copy to a local drive is not an option.

Thus, music Xbox seems to have a problem with the playback of MP3 tags on a local network or domain.

Does anyone have a solution to this?  Or is there anyone he works with a similar network set up?  I even disabled the firewall.

    Thanks for the help.

  • What are the criteria that the music App or music cloud determines if a song should be reported as 'stream only?

    • I have a very large music library that I uploaded to the cloud.
    • All the files are physically located on a local hard drive.
    • All files are .mp3.
    • All files were purchased from sources other than the music of the Xbox.
In a seemingly random way, there are songs that have been reported as 'stream only' despite the above conditions.
In some cases a single song in an album has been reported as 'stream only.
What are the criteria that the music app or music cloud determines if a song has to be marked as 'stream only'?  If I had this info, maybe I could understand something.
Please don't tell me to do something about that.  My huge music library; 45K songs, 260 GB in size.  Change files and turn on clouds or extinguish any simply questions I have hours of work manually download songs to the cloud which music xbox has not recognized.

  • Music app will make no sound

The music on my iPhone app 6 will not make any noise. When I insert a track, it is said that he plays, but no sound. Happens if I play with nothing hooked up, or if I have a headset in, or if it is connected via the speaker or car charger. The phone always say he plays I like, but no sound comes out. This does NOT happen if I use an app like Spotify, so I know that my speakers and other audio devices are not the problem. It's incredibly frustrating. What exactly should I do to get it working again?
