Grievances with Lenovo Y560

I would like to share my experiences with Lenovo-all the agony and moral harassment, I went by on the day of the purchase of this machine.

My laptop has been broken for the past 4 months. It happened for the second time in his one year of purchase. After months of repairs in customer Service, it has not repaired until now.

Whenever I take it to the service center, they keep for months, fix it and send it back. But after a day of use, it breaks again. When I go to the center of service once again, they ask me to register a complaint new case.

I'm fed up now with this machine. I have increased my case with the Department of the LenCare, the India 2 weeks ago regarding the same ask for full refund. I had no update on their part whenever I call them, they phone to hang on and not behave or speak correctly.

I expect that some high-level authority would seek in this case and the approval of it as soon as.

    I guess that the regional pricing may differ. You might be better off buying a used 2nd Y560 and hover over your hard drive.

  • Work does'nt WiMax and a graphics card problem! Lenovo y560

    I recently formatted my lenovo y560, so I updated the BIOS and all drivers support lenovo customer. I installed all the drivers of network, but WiMax says that it is not ready. I did a diagnostic manual and it says that the wireless adapter is disabled or uninstalled. FN + F5 is turned on and the wireless network connection is enabled in the settings of the card.

    I also have the menagment of power of lenovo driver (apperently the function key does not work without it).

    Another thing is that I installed the AMD graphic driver and when I check that my windows experience side indicates that my graphics performance for the aero desktop PC is 4.5... I was just wondering how can it be so low! When I bought the lap top it was note 6 +... I don't know if it's important, but I think that somethings wrong with my drivers.

    Im running Windows 7 64 bit, of course, and my only key theatre does not work, the driver is just spoil things!

    So any suggestions?

    I have ati radeon 5730 and my rating of performace for windows aero desktop experience is 4.5 while my graphic score of the game is 6.1. Why is the performance of office for windows aero so low?

    I've updated my laptop Lenovo y560 to 10 Windows.

    Works for the most part, except for the built-in wireless connector.

    Regular ethernet works, but I cannot get wireless to work.

    Any helpful suggestions or link of the driver?

    Well, I tried to install Win 7 drivers for all drivers listed under the download tab wireless to see if everything worked. I then ran the app from support from Lenovo and it showed a driver missing for the wireless adapter. He installed an Atheros driver or something like and wireless has started working. It took about 3 days on and off redolve.

    Still miss me 3 drivers according to 10 Windows device manager, but video, network, usb wireless, audio and camera all seem to work well for the moment.

    I would like to share with you my bad experience with lenovo. I bought S10 2 weeks. Since the first day, it has not worked right. In the middle of my work it rebooted by itself and took a lot of time (20-30 min) to open XP when I turned it on. Then, I decided to restore the system with the OneKey Recovery button, but I couldn't activate the laptop after that at all. After that, I called technical support and explain my problem. They advised me to call lenovo sales and ask to replace the system. I followed the advice and call them and the representative told me that I have to send the laptop to the technical support group and they try first to solve this problem, if they would not be able to fix then I would send a new, and it would take at least 2 weeks to understand what is wrong with the system. I was indignant at this topic and he told me that if I want a new right now that I have to pay 15% bonus. Can you imagine that? Then I called the technical support group and we did some tests together and it did not work. After that, they still suggest to call lenovo sales to replace this laptop. Finally, sales representative decided to replace my laptop faulty by a new one. He arranged the pick UPS faulty laptop and created the order for the new system. Later the same day, I found that they charged me twice for the laptop. This means that I have a defective S10 only laptop, but have paid in full for two laptops. Today is the second day, and nobody came to the inverter to take the defective laptop. I called them and I was wondering why no one pick up the laptop. The answer was: no one does not organize the UPS pick up. This is Lenovo service! I've never seen this kind of service. It's terrible! I asked to connect with the Manager, but the Manager was very busy and I left the request to remember. I lose 4-5 hours of my time to explain my problem and request a replacement. Whenever they transferred my call to various departments, I had to wait 20-25 min. technical support is very good, they are very helpful and polite. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for lenovo sales representatives. It was my first lenovo and I'm sure that the last of them. Would not recommend to anyone to buy it. The service is horrible!

    I hope that, ultimately, the faulty laptop is picked up tomorrow. I am thinking to return it and get my money back if they don't send me not the new Friday, as they promised.

    I did from my first experience with Lenovo: If you have a problem with Lenovo products you should call and talk with officials. It is best to talk with several representatives, because not every representative has correct information. If the representatives are not useful, you have to speak to the supervisor or Manager.     My local disk (C) is 80 GB and almost full. I got rid of and dumped a lot of things that I don't use on my computer and clean it regularly. I have a Lenovo (D), who has 105 GB of space with almost all of the ones available but I do not know how to use this space. Can I transfer some of the things takes so much space on my (C) in this?     Look with in the settings of your programs to change to the D drive. Alternatively, you can copy part
    existing data to D:, just copy and make sure everything is OK before you delete it on C: and make a backup.

    You can also delete the D: partition and enlarge your C: driver. (Save anything from D: first)
    Then you can continue to use the machine you are now. (Are backups and restore points on D:)

    Hey guys. I'm a little new to the community, but I am certainly not new to the lenovo computers. I currently have an Ideapad Y560 out on repairs for the SECOND time for the SAME problem. This is a problem with the computer not charging. The first time I sent it, they he repaired by replacing the "DC in cable", according to them, but then a month later (which is currently online) the same problem. I am furious because it interfered with my studies for the final exam. I was hoping to receive last Thursday, but has received no conformation autour it leave the repair depot.   • Problems with Lenovo g500

    I have a problem that does not persist on another machine with windows 7.
