Problems with Lenovo g500

Hello

I've been using Lenovo g500 for about a year now, but last week there was a problem with my laptop and I had to restore windows by using the button restore Lenovo. The windows restore very well and I was able to update Windows 8.1 Although wiped all my data in the C drive.

But now my laptop does not connect to any bluetooth device. Whenever I go into the settings of laptop, it just says: "looking for bluetooth divide but it never detects my phone or any other bluetooth devide.»

In addition, since deleted my data, I have to reinstall the drivers for my printer but this laptop does not even recognize the CD! He does not have ANY CD.

And the Lenovo Veriface doesn't work either now

I've searched and searched to these questions. I reinstalled the drivers lenovo veriface and bluetooth but they don't always work. And drivers bluetooth never has been removed from my laptop because they were installed in the D drive, but they do not.

Someone help me please I really need to print some documents, but this laptop will not install my printer drivers.

Recommend to download Bluetooth Driver (Liteon/Atheros, CyberTan/Broadcom, Realtek) version support 8.0.1.305/12.0.0.7850/3.769.769.091813 and installation costs if possible.

I recommend installing the chipset and driver. This should update the windows of files needed to remove the yellow warning.

Hello.I bought recently Y500 with SLI and I am very satisfied with this computer. Yesterday, I found strange problem which I believe is hardware problem. I made a short video of the problem because I'm not sure I can describe it so accurate.

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=S6BEiHuJBfI

I believe that something inside is not in contact with good and this causes the sound stop. The computer is new, and the only thing I improved is the mSATA SSD so I can install the operating system.

Any ideas what may be causing the problem? IM in the USA now, but I'll come back in Bulgaria soon, so I can not have time to return the laptop to Lenovo, so I will try to solve the problem by myself. Thank you.

I found the problem. The bolt on the motherboard against the wire was too close and he was able to penetrate the insulation of the cable. And when the wire touches the ground (bolt metal), arrest him speaker.

  • Major problem with Lenovo B560 laptop

Hello, I recently bought a new Lenovo B560 laptop about a month and half ago and it works very well. However, two days ago, I was playing a MMORPG called Aion very well and decided to go down so I stop the laptop after leaving the program, then later that night I turned on the computer laptop and everything which appeared is a white screen! (the strange thing is that it loads the user login process again because I still have sound on my laptop and it plays the little sound for when the login screen has been worn) I tried many solutions online, but none of them worked, so I decided to come here to see if anyone has a solution. I tried removing the battery and the power cord while pressing the power button method, and even the method Fn + F5, but those who did nothing. So if you have any other suggestions let me know, thanks in advance.

I would also like to speak to an administrator about what to send my laptop for Lenovo for repairs because it is under warranty. I tried to look on the Web site where to contact them by e-mail or otherwise, because I had not the time to call for support, so if a moderator, administrator, etc. might help me understand what I need to do, I would really appreciate it!

    Thanks to advanced with everyone.

This usually indicates a hardware problem.
LCD, lcd cable or on-board graphics chip.

Try an external monitor, if you have not already.
    Display the results.

    Remove and re-install the RAM.
    Display the results.

  • Bad experience with Lenovo.

    Hello world

I would like to share with you my bad experience with lenovo. I bought S10 2 weeks. Since the first day, it has not worked right. In the middle of my work it rebooted by itself and took a lot of time (20-30 min) to open XP when I turned it on. Then, I decided to restore the system with the OneKey Recovery button, but I couldn't activate the laptop after that at all. After that, I called technical support and explain my problem. They advised me to call lenovo sales and ask to replace the system. I followed the advice and call them and the representative told me that I have to send the laptop to the technical support group and they try first to solve this problem, if they would not be able to fix then I would send a new, and it would take at least 2 weeks to understand what is wrong with the system. I was indignant at this topic and he told me that if I want a new right now that I have to pay 15% bonus. Can you imagine that? Then I called the technical support group and we did some tests together and it did not work. After that, they still suggest to call lenovo sales to replace this laptop. Finally, sales representative decided to replace my laptop faulty by a new one. He arranged the pick UPS faulty laptop and created the order for the new system. Later the same day, I found that they charged me twice for the laptop. This means that I have a defective S10 only laptop, but have paid in full for two laptops. Today is the second day, and nobody came to the inverter to take the defective laptop. I called them and I was wondering why no one pick up the laptop. The answer was: no one does not organize the UPS pick up. This is Lenovo service! I've never seen this kind of service. It's terrible! I asked to connect with the Manager, but the Manager was very busy and I left the request to remember. I lose 4-5 hours of my time to explain my problem and request a replacement. Whenever they transferred my call to various departments, I had to wait 20-25 min. technical support is very good, they are very helpful and polite. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for lenovo sales representatives. It was my first lenovo and I'm sure that the last of them. Would not recommend to anyone to buy it. The service is horrible!

I hope that, ultimately, the faulty laptop is picked up tomorrow. I am thinking to return it and get my money back if they don't send me not the new Friday, as they promised.

Thanks for sharing your experience here!

I received my S10 new and very satisfied. This works perfectly. Finally, I got what I wanted.

I did from my first experience with Lenovo: If you have a problem with Lenovo products you should call and talk with officials. It is best to talk with several representatives, because not every representative has correct information. If the representatives are not useful, you have to speak to the supervisor or Manager. In addition, post your case in this forum. I suspect that some manager Lenovo check this forum. My problem has been resolved as soon as I posted my experience here.

The IBM product portable grand, but I wish they hire more agents for sale or magazine somehow their service.

  • problem with my warranty

    Hello

I have a serious problem with Lenovo.

I bought a T500 last spring. I asked the representative of the sales if series T have even international warranty (I had a T42 and X 41 before and both were covered in most of the countries in the world) and as expected, the T series was still covered at the international level.

    This status quo.

I decided to buy the 3-year international warranty, on-site.

Last may, I took a job in the Netherlands and we moved there in July.

my laptop had a problem, I called Lenovo Netherlands and they told me they cannot interview because it was not under warranty.

I contacted Lenovo USA back to find out what was wrong.

I spend a lot of time on the phone, and finally they made me go to this page:

    Search for international warranty:
    http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?lndocid=look-IWS#SW

I put my machine type (2081) and I don't see any country in Europe.

I was furious to see that Lenovo USA has a warranty on the T500 in places like the TURKS & CAICOS or Aruba and not in Europe. with my T42 and X 41, guaranteed international meant most countries in the world, not just a couple of the Islands and countries develop.

I then went to the Web of Lenovo UK site and I chose the T500 even. the order also said that I chose a type of 2081. So in theory, British customers who purchase a T500 to the United Kingdom have no guarantee in their own country. And I am sure that our British friends have a warranty on their T500.

So there is obviously something wrong with Lenovo.

I tried to explain over the phone, but no one listens, they constantly through another Department and finally hang on me. Support nice guy. I like the new Chinese owners. Of course, they know how to treat customers. IBM, come back!

I don't know what to do now. I am really upset about Lenovo because they refuse to fix my problem.

They recognize difficulty there is a problem with laptops UK but they say, to the day, it would not apply to me.

Is there someone here who can give me a name, an email, a phone number I can contact?

    Thank you very much.

    All,

Very good news. I took issues with Lenovo UK yesterday (my experience with the English has always been excellent) and here is the last email I got from them:

    Hello Matthew

I can confirm that machine 2081 which we sell on the shop online (T500 - discrete graphics) has an international warranty (we it degenerated and list is now updated). Visit this link to confirm:

    http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/warrantyLookup.do?type=2081&IWS=on&sitestyle=Lenovo

As a little for the inconvenience with the missing information of warranty up to our days, please accept this coupon of 5% - simply add it to your cart when you check out: y3W5FvNq5j8A

I don't know if the extra vouncher apply for orders outside the United Kingdom, but it is a very nice touch anyway.

Kudos to Lenovo UK who have dealt with this problem in less than 24 hours with immediate and regular feedback. Rock you guys, I love you!

  • Lenovo G500 with SSD and HDD in ODD Bay

    Hello!

So I have a laptop Lenovo G500 aged for 1 year with a processor i5 to 3230M, now an 8 GB (originally, it was 4 GB) of RAM and a 1 TB HARD drive. I recently bought a 250 GB Samsung SSD 840 Evo and a disk HARD caddy from here: http://hddcaddy.com/en/lenovo-ibm-hdd-caddy/646-lenovo-g500-hdd-caddy.html

So I removed the HARD drive, put the SSD in its place, removed the STRANGE and put the HARD drive in its place. It was all nice and comforting, but that in some points the HARD drive was not seen by the system as if it was disconnected or something. This happens usually when the laptop was running, if I rebooted everything worked. I remember that in the past, I don't know, maybe in the last 4 months, I used my ODD twice and neither time was it works well.

So my question is: can it be that my ODD SATA port is faulty, or does this problem occur because this whole switch-and-swap operation is not supported by my laptop? If this is the first I can replace this SATA port?

    Hello!

Thanks for the reply. I just did an update of the bios, so far everything seems to work well, it still took some time (a few hours) unitill the problem occurred.

If the problem persists I'll try the fix from microsoft that you sent, but with the 2nd solution, there is the problem that I need to reboot the system to get the bios, but so far after a reboot my laptop has always recognized the HARD drive.

  • Lenovo G500 camera problems

So I have a Lenovo g500 (win 8.1 pre-installed, 64-bit) and I just installed the latest update of windows, and now does not work my camera.

The updates were the 14 and 15 and I installed this morning, and I KNOW my web cam worked the 14th.

I checked, and Skype is still expected to have permission to use the built-in camera. I checked the drivers, and those who are up to date.

Anyone got tips on how to solve this problem? Its really annoying that it just doesn't work anymore.

I checked windows update and I don't see anything that would harm the camera, so I don't know what to do :/ Any help would be appreciated.

  • Problem of games Lenovo G500

So I bought a few games this summer sale of steam, including Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, and the funny thing is that all of these games have a problem with my laptop, which is an intense flickering while the game is in full screen mode. The only solution is to play in windowed mode is not as fun as it should be. The thing is that I have not this problem when running windows 7 and that was because I was a former pilot graphics Intel installed, once I went to win 8.1 and had the driver on the lenovo site, I encountered this problem. Even if I get this gpu error in Device Manager. I'm not too happy to see that I bought 3 games and I can't play, I also have the same problem with South Park the stick of truth. My specs are Intel i3 3110 m, AMD HD 8570 m, 4 GB RAM, Win 8.1. Help, please. Thank you.

The problem has been resolved by uninstalling the AMD graphics driver that I had and installed the driver Omega 14.12, the games work well and I have not had a problem during playback, thanks for trying to help Cheers!

I have an old Ideapad of one year z510. Last week, the battery indicator began to stuck on 100%. So not connected, he stops suddenly without notifying me with 10% and 7% remaining notification. • Problem with key 'Shift' Lenovo Y530

I bought a Lenovo Y530 recently with Windows Vista 64-bit.

I'm having a problem with the 'Shift' key as they seem to be related to some sort of function hotkey or short cut:

Left Shift-> on a notebook left SHIFT press types "] yt ' and active / turns off the Capslock. He also started a search or find on the desktop

Right shift-> by pressing the right shift key prints «...» MV' on Notepad and done something funny

It is therefore impossible for me to use this laptop. I tried following things so far:

    1. disable the shortcut keys in the Intel Graphics toolbar

    2. all controls 'ease of use '.

It seems that Shift key everything except what it is supposed to do.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Gerard

    Hello

I think that I found a solution to the problem. Although it sounds randomly - but it works for me.

It just open wordpad and begin typing shift with other keys at the same time and randomly - very random and very fast. Hmm and well, it suddenly begins to work properly. It's pretty random and the problem is back, but he always solved with this... well "method" (if you can call it a 'method').

I have not had the problem for a few months now. So, it does not. It is not a hardware problem safe - and nothing to do with the access keys.

    It will be useful.

  • Problems with my Lenovo Y510P.

    Hello Lenovo community!

I bought my Y510P reconditioned 3 months ago and it had worked very well up until recently my laptop would just turned off and would not yet initialize for a certain period of time followed with my adapter it's a "pulsed" strange noise. I tried to remove my my laptop AC adapter and pressing the power on button, but it did not work. After 1 hour later I plug back my power adapter and the noise disappeared and it may start again, but with a strange event, my computer would be a smell of burning electronic and metal from the AC charger plug.

I'm worried if it just my adapter is faulty or would it be a problem with my AC charger plug because it's the second time he has done that.

your welcome, please make sure that the input voltage is the same amount that is stated on the laptop and secondly please keep me updated so that I know if your OEM charger worked

    Hello BHASKARPIYA,

Product Key Finder programs, if someone advises to use, is found only on your operating system preinstalled a Levono multiple factory facilities and will be of no use in these circumstances.

You will need to contact Lenovo and request their assistance.

Or a way around this is to buy a Lenovo recovery DVD to reinstall the operating system or use the built-in recovery Partition containing an image of your OS and reinstall Windows like that.

No method requires a product key to be entered by you.

  • Problem with Windows Update after the new installation of Windows 7 Pro the Lenovo ThinkPad X 200

I'm trying to do a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro on a Lenovo ThinkPad X 200. The product key is easy to find on the sticker of the ThinkPad. However, the version of Windows is hidden (for example, I can't check that my ThinkPad had originally installed Windows 7 Pro). I was able to install by using a Pro Win 7 SP1 CD ROM I bought for another installation. I used the ThinkPad I was trying to make the new facility on the product key. I was able to activate the Windows 7 Pro using the phone call and my cell phone. I checked the activation! However, I have problems with Windows update. The product key may be a different version of Windows 7. If so, why did it install and activate OK? Y at - it a fix for this problem or I have to buy a new version of Windows 7 Pro? Please note that I have not yet installed all drivers Lenovo ThinkPad as I can't seem to install correctly. Thank you!

Since the issue is updated to Windows, it is not a product number key.

You can reset the Windows Update components by running the Fixit on this page. But if there is malware present, she will continue to reset the connection to the update servers:

Suggest you download and save the Fixit. Then configure the system before the clean boot by running:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously. Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode. Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers. If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode. Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.

  • I started having problems with the wireless mouse and the carpet of my laptop - Lenovo ThinkPad T420 mouse.

Original title: right click on the mouse itself activating

I borrowed a USB to a person at work and I started having problems with the wireless mouse and the carpet of my laptop - Lenovo ThinkPad T420 mouse. The left click of two devices works normally, however, sometimes she does not respond to clicks and it takes a few seconds to work. The left button was constantly starts to turn on, as if he was stuck. After that I hit Alt + Tab and modify windows it stops for a few moments and starts at a later date. I havo not found a specific condition or a combination of keys that may trigger the fault.

I read a few posts on discussion forums, but all say that it could be a hardware problem, which I think is not, because both devices have the same problem and I'm sure it all started with the insertion of the borrowed memory stick. I scanned the readers to help Symantec's EndPoint Protection and installed Microsoft Security Essentials and performed a full scan, but found nothing. I even restored the system, but the problem remains.

Should I get a different antivirus? How can I find the cause so I can find a better targeted solution?
