I have not used my scanner on my HP printer/copier/scanner for a few weeks. Since then, I've had the latest updates of downloaded Microsoft and a new version of Firefox 28.0 thus put on it.
The printer/copier part works very well so far. But when I went to open the HP Solution Center where you learn and make your scans of I get a Windows Installer box popping up and it seems that it is trying to find something. Then he said: component trying to use is on a cd-rom or other removable disk that is not available. Then, a status box appears saying status insert the diskette and click OK. Then, something else pops up saying installation package for the product status is not found. Try using a valid copy of the installation package status.msi. My cousin said it would come down to watch, but I don't know when that will be. I was wondering if this has happened to someone else. Funny, is that I just found out that I can still browse my control using the analysis wizard panel. If my computer is grateful the scanner to a certain extent. And even in the HP Solution Center I get to scan market. Problem is once these boxes pop up, I can't shut down my computer in the usual way. You push in my Start button. Also, what is strange, it is manually update my Firefox and sometimes I'll see where it checks for compatibility and will tell me when something doesn't work with this new update. This time, I don't see anything. So maybe it wasn't Firefox. Oh I uninstall a program that had been on my computer for centuries, when he gave me but my cousin said that did nothing. It was more Microsoft Photo Story 2 THE. I think it's for the people who put things/camera on their computer to use. Any thoughts on what happened? Thank you!

No, installation and update of Firefox do not affect other software on your computer. Download and install the drivers and related software for your device from the manufacturer's website.

The latest version of firefox is not compatible with my Norton security - the old version was fine. I need to know how to get back to the previous version thanks

Hello, according to norton toolbar is compatible with firefox 22. Please run the liveupdate from norton repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. Additionally, make sure that the toolbar is enabled under firefox > addons > extension thereafter.

For more information, refer to http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-22-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/979947

Edit: and norton is developing a solution for the protection of the disabled vulnerability, which should be available shortly. Just keep the disabled extension for now.
downgraded to firefox 21 is not recommended and will certainly be more insecure than the extension disabled, as the latest version of firefox has 14 known security vulnerabilities fixed.

    Hello

I have a few virtual machines that have been created and updated in the latest version of Workstation. When I put them in the merger, the tools are marked as needing an update. If I press 'Update tools', but then I get a message saying "a newer version of VMware tools are already installed.

Number tools version is reported as 8.4.5, build 324285. That merger think they are up-to-date?

Number tools version is reported as 8.4.5, build 324285. That merger think they are up-to-date?

Generation of fusion is 332101, so the construction of tools is more recent (because it's the workstation).

You must uninstall them in the prompt, and then install VMware Tools from the Virtual Machine menu in the merger user interface.

  • Why can't I access the new updates of Firefox 4?

Just updated to Firefox 4 and finished rebooting, but nothing has changed. The browser looks the same as version 3.6.16. I see no Button Firefox, the Awesome Bar does not work, the Stop/Reload have not been combined into one, the Home button has not been moved, etc.. When I check on Firefox, it says I have version 4. I even rebooted in SafeMode with everything disabled and still nothing.

Any ideas why I'm not able to access the new features?

    Thank you

The new interface is the default on Windows Vista and Windows 7 only. To get it under Windows XP, you must hide the menu bar. Do, in the view menu, select Toolbars, then click on the entrance to the "Menu bar".

If you need to access the menus, you can press Alt or F10 to display temporarily.

To combine the go-stop-reload buttons, right-click on a toolbar and select Customize. Now drag the stop and reload buttons on the right side of the address bar in reload-stop order

What version of Firefox do need it?

Do you need a stable version as the rejection, or even the beta version that will become the next version and get an update about twice a week?

Or you don't mind updating daily with one using a generation night to test new (unfinished) features that will be part of a future version?

The Nightly alpha1 channel sometimes gets a respin, and if you missed the first update then you will need to download the full version (45 MB).
Editing (alpha2) does not get a respin because that only code that has relied on the Nightly channel for some land of week on the update channel, as well as the channel is a bit more stable.

Our that it is always recommended to install the current version, or at least the beta if you decide to use one of the alpha versions, so you have a relief if certain Web sites or of any browser does not work.

  • How to get Firefox to check the compatibility of the addon first, then ask me if I want to continue the update of Firefox?

How to get Firefox to check the compatibility of the add-on first, then ask me if I want to continue the update of Firefox? The update process currently only told me that an add-on has been disable after you apply the update to Firefox. Options > Advanced Options > switch to the update tab, "Warn me if this turns off one of my modules," doesn't seem to work.

    delores51

This is an add-on that does this.

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/is-it-compatible/

More specifically, what modules are always appear as incompatible after a Firefox updated? Firefox 10, extensions that are made properly shouldn't be a problem, with a few exceptions.

Extension that contains a binary code must be compiled for each new version of Firefox. These modules are usually installed by applications on security Norton, McAfee, ZoneAlarm, etc..

In recent months, Gmail has asked that I've upgraded to the new Firefox. I always have the most recent update. He is currently 8.0.1. A few other apps, I don't remember those who ask me to update Firefox as well - but I am! (Firefox as browser seems to work perfectly well).

  • How can I stop Firefox asking me to update?

The options menu "inform, but do not update," account with no way to turn them off completely. But, since Firefox is apparently just as arrogant and stupid Microsoft programs, Firefox absolutely refuses to stop accepts my answer of 'no' and then no more wonder... I can't imagine why someone would update voluntarily to Firefox 3.6.4, because this adds 1.5 x memory of Firefox which is already a big eater of HUGE according to the Task Manager memory, by adding another process that does absolutely nothing useful at all (all pages 'crashed' must be rebooted anyway - and that's all of them (, not one). It should be pretty obvious to Firefox engineers that no one would ever downgrade from 3.6.3 to 3.6.4, so I do not see why he keeps asking me to update, but I really need to know how to turn it off.

Go to Tools-> Options-> advanced-> update and uncheck the box that says Firefox and click OK

  • I keep running the update of firefox, but next time I click on my icon of firefox, it opens an older version and asks me to update. What is going on?

I downloaded and ran the update of Firefox. It said it was successful and then the homepage etc came. However, after I had closed and starts again the 'old' version came when I clicked on the icon of Firefox with the usual comment I have an old version and that you need to update. I tried this three times with the same result. I have a laptop Compaq Presario 2200.

    What I am doing wrong?

If you use the www.google.com/firefox as homepage site that previous versions of Firefox 3 use as homepage you can ignore the message about not using the latest version of Firefox on this page.

Google seems to keep this page.

The text on the implementation of the latest version of Firefox is in the code of the www.google.com/firefox site that previous versions of Firefox 3 use as homepage and it seems that Google is no longer do not update this page.

The current versions of Firefox 4 + is no longer use this website from Google as home page, but use the build-in on: home page as the home page.

Google assumes that you are using an older version of Firefox if you still visit this site, and warns you that you are using an older version of Firefox and invites you to update.

You can use a different page than the homepage as subject: House or www.google.com or www.google.com/ig (iGoogle).
