  What happens if you start a new conversation with Franny & Dad from the IOW computer do not try to "catch" the conversation

  Click on new message and put their names in there

  If this does not work - remove the wire from the Mac and try again

  I think it should not because after sending the text it comes just up on their phone as a text message you only, but I want to just make sure

  Thanks for your post. I understand that you wanted to confirm if a mass message will convert to a group message after activating again Group Messaging. I certainly understand wanting to send a mass text message without launching a group of crazy message where number of all is shared. I'll be more than happy to help clarify.

  I tested on my iPhone, and so my previous knowledge on the messages, I discovered some great information. When you send a mass text with disabled group messaging message, it sends the messages individually and these other people only get a text without your mass SMS numbers. When you have enabled messaging group once again, it won't change the message on their end, and if they say it will for you.

  So I was at the amusement park with all my friends and we have texted each other a lot at the time we were there. But I used only my ID apple to the text, and I don't have cell so I couldn't receive their texts.   In theory, as long as you have settings > Messages > Send as SMS enabled, Yes, it should send the message as an SMS when there is no data available. In practice, sometimes it isn't. If you still do not have a data connection, you're usually better just not using iMessage and just going by SMS.

  For some people, the link between iPhone and Mac for Forwarding text (which works in both directions) can break.

  Things to check: -.

  (1) iPhone and Mac are still on the same LAN

  (2) that the iPhone displays the Mac which should get the sent items

  In case of doubt deletion the Mac in the list.

  Leave the little transfer of text then reset so that the Code number will appear again on the Mac.

  It is my understanding that you are not able to receive SMS Messages from iPhone to your s5 Galaxy. I know I like to get all my messages to all my friends. I recommend making sure that all the steps in this article have been taken:

  If I understand your message correctly you lit iMessage on your iPad, and now you want to remove the feature from iMessage.  If this is correct, then all you need to do is disable iMessage in your settings.

  

  iMessages are text, photos or videos that you send to Mac and iOS devices via WiFi or cellular data networks. These messages appear in blue text bubbles. To enable or disable the iMessage, go to settings > Messages.

  Use Messages with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
