  I have a funny problem here. I installed on Windows Standard edition 12 c and I can connect without any problems by using the command prompt or SQL Developer. The problem I am facing is that, after some time, I can't create a new connection and I am getting a timeout in SQL Developer or nothing happens by using the command line. Connections I created before work always and I see that the database is available - I can run queries in SQL Developer old sessions and everything seems to be there. If I take the database using windows services, then I can create new sessions, reconnect and everything works well. It is the first time I see something like that. Is there something I need to put? A kind of connection pool or something similar.

  We are currently running a vCenter Server 5.5 with a HA/DRS cluster enabled with hosts running ESXi 5.5. We seek to integrate vCAC 5.2 with the vCenter to 3 main features: -.

  2 lease time (Auto Delete after the expiration of the lease)

  3. simple commissioning of several clones related to a single model

  Is this possible with vCAC standard edition? I'd also be interested if there is VMware's best practices / recommendations for the performance of virtual machines in the computer virtual and vCAC vCenter in the same cluster? I guess they are one and the same it is recommended and taken in charge? We are currently using vCD 5.1 in a location separate and discouraged VMware vCloud and vCenter VM in the same cluster of mixture

  1 fast Provisioning (Linked Clones) - Yes, you create the VM in vCenter and take a snapshot to be the point of reference for the master plan of Clone related vCAC - default value is 20 maximum clones per source, this can be adjusted to a custom property - MaximumProvisionedMachines

  2 lease time (Auto deletion after expiry of lease) - looks like it is included in the Standard edition

  3. simple commissioning of several clones related to a single model - see number one above.

  Best practices around machines unmanaged vCAC running in the same environment of vCenter as vCAC managed machines. I think you can get into trouble here when you have people doing things outside vCAC (such as the commissioning of the machines that take place from the data store) and then people within vCAC asking machines to hit the same resources. I recommend allocating warehouses of data specifically to vCAC reserves will not use for machines that are implemented outside the vCAC in order to prevent the distribution issues. With memory I would make sure that my allowances in vCAC take into account as well as workloads existing workload future non-vCAC so that you don't have problems of contention if vCAC is heavily used.

  Don't know if it is included in the Standard edition, but you can import existing machines using organizer of Infrastructure that you assign to a person / blueprint / commissioning group / booking (if you have not used the vCAC this probably doesn't mean much to you) so that all the virtual machines in the environment exist under the vCAC. These VMS could refer to a plan that is not a rental period, so you wouldn't have to worry about vCAC archiving as linked clones.

  I don't see a problem with running differently licensed hosts on one instance of vCenter server. Due to different features, you will need to place them in separate well groups. With respect to the vRAM, I understand how it vRAM is pooled by license type, then you will end up with two swimming pools.

  I called the customer service. I called the support to businesses. whatever i can I I did but I don't get any solution, right away that these people say that support is not provided for windows 2003 as its being obsolete.

  My question is whether the product activation. I bought the license for windows 2003 std ed. At least I need solution for activation, it should be default but nobody is bothered.
