Growing awareness of Firefox Skype Click-to-Call

Hello! I'd like to edit regular expressions used by the plugin Firefox Click-to-call. I work online, and unfortunately, phone numbers that we use are entered by workers in a text field and so often don't are not properly formatted, so I would like to change the sensitivity. (No, I'm one of the workers, and I have no control on the operation of the Web site). (Yes, I know that this could cause the plugin to go out of control, and I'm happy to just disable the plugin when I am not working.)

Could someone guide me in the right direction? Any advice would be helpful. (It would be easier if I used IE or Chrome?)

-Very well, unfortunately, no one has responded to this topic, but I finally found a third-party solution.

(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/telify/ ) Telify is an Add on Firefox that works very similar to Click-to-Call, is much more sensitive and is completely compatible with Skype. I just uninstalled Click-to-Call and installed instead.

  • The following extensions are always safe to use with Firefox? Yahoo toolbar, McAfee WebAdvisor & Skype click on call

I had these extensions installed since February 2015, when I bought my new computer. They always worked very well, but this morning I noticed that each say, «McAfee WebAdvisor/Skype Click-to-Call/Yahoo Toolbar could not be verified for use in Firefox.» Proceed with caution. All of these extensions have been download from their respective Web sites. Should I worry about this?

In the future, Firefox refuses to run unsigned extensions. However, the first step being taken in Firefox 40 is to warn you that you have a little so you can check the updates and/or inform the Publisher of this impending problem.

I'm sure that these three companies are aware of this change. What they need to do, is to submit their Add-ons for Mozilla for review and signature sometime before Firefox 41 is available and no doubt they will be.

If they are not, please complain to them!

  • How cal get Skype click-to-call to install Firefos 10

I have JUST IMPROVED FIREFOX 10. As it happens everytime I update, Firefox says that it cannot install the add-on Skype click-to-call. I used to be able to add tools, but now Skype is not yet listed here; What is called click-to-call SIP's (beta).
Can someone tell me how toget click-to-call from Skype to work once again, or else advise me as to if he charge associated with the SIP functionality and also how ewell it works...
    Thank you.

The compatibility module are the responsibility of the developer. All add-on developers are able to update/test their product before any major version of Firefox, due to release a public Alpha/beta of Mozilla's Firefox. This means that all developers of applications update before a major release is made, which often prevents the compatibility between the module and the browser.

Skype has announced that they have updated their "Click-To-Call' add-on for Firefox10

Make sure that you have downloaded the version more returned to the Add on Click-to-Call on the Skype website.

  • Skype click to call works in Chrome, but not Firefox

    Skype 7.7.103, C2C, v 7.4.9058, FF v v40
This question was asked enough now for a response to available. Time to dump FF and go to Chrome?

What problems are you having with the Skype extension?

Just to go through the usual:

    (1) does show on the addons page and can it be activated? You can open it only by using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then check the list on the right. Extensions disabled down cluster.

Note: It is normal in 40 of Firefox to display a message that the extension is not checked.

    (2) must its button be added to the toolbar? You can use the Customize tab to detect if it is not in the expected location. See: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars.

Are there other issues? I do not use this extension myself.

  • Click to call only to detect a number encapsulated in hyperlink

I noticed that Skype to call does not detect any number on browser that encapsulated in the tag.

It detects ordinary number, and I can use click to call.

but not on numbers that currently into a hyperlink.

is this in any way about this?

I checked in chrome and firefox.

using Skype click to call 7.3.16540.9015

I highly doubt it because that would mean that it would essentially convert/modify an existing binding that really wouldn't make sense for me.

  • Click-to-Call works is not in Chrome at all

I know that some people have reported chrashes with chrome, but I can't get it work period. I uninstalled and reinstalled click to call several times and his Chrome as ignores it. There is no extension listed in Chrome or whatever, is not just hard chrome.

    Is happening here?

Bethany support Skype just helped me solve this problem. It was frustrating me no end. I couldn't see it in IE or Chrome.

We reinstalled Skype and re-uploaded the click to call app from Skype website. He then worked in Internet Explorer. However, the Chrome was still a problem.

However, that's what fixed it obtained:

    1. we have completely closed Chrome. INCLUDING by using the Task Manager to kill all processes with Chrome or Chrome32 as their name. (We tried it before just by closing Chrome with red 'X' normal process in Windows, and it did not work, because there are still methods and extensions running in background).

    2. once we killed the Chrome process with the Task Manager, I received notification of some of them as extensions crashed (Roboform, TamperMonkey, Pinterest, and several other extensions). Then, in the Task Manager no process for Chrome or Chrome32 were more.

    3. we uninstalled Chrome completely.

    4. We then returned on the Chrome site Chrome with IE (the browser #1 to download other browsers) and re-uploaded and re-installed.

    5. this time, when I launched Chrome, it told me that Skype click to call extension was to be charged and asked me to turn it on. Once I enabled it, I refreshed all my screens in Chrome and VOILA! The click to call feature worked as it should.

TL; DR: Basically you must close Chrome and kill all the process of Chrome, Chrome, uninstall and then reinstall Chrome and re - download Click-to-Call App (Seems like the last two steps can be done in any order.)

Thanks to Bethany with Skype for his excellent help to solve this for me!

    Hello

    ·         What web browser do you use?

    ·         You get the error message

    Follow these steps:

    Step 1:

To disable this, the simplest method is to remove or uninstall the plugin Click-to-Call with Skype , through the Control Panel Add/Remove or uninstall function.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/uninstall-or-change-a-program

    Step 2:

Click and call can also be disabled by disabling or removing the plugin through your

browsers manage add-ons/plugin options (actual procedure varies depending on the browser).

    Step 3:

There is a 'Rapid Product Removal Tool' from Microsoft which can be used to remove the programs that we are not able to remove it by using the functionality of the program.

  • We have a requirement of click to call in installing 10.5 UCCX with customer website (user input) for our customer

    Hello

We have a requirement of click to call in installing 10.5 UCCX with customer website (user input) for our client, anyone who tested it in the laboratory/prod settings?

    Thank you!!
    Magali

    Hello magali.

It is possible to deploy with UCCX HTTP trigger type. To get the number of customer via the HTTP trigger to the script. Then we can place the outgoing number of customer to campaign or appeal directly to the customer and place this call to the QSC.

There are two scripts for web reminder in Cisco repository of scripts, see this http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/cont...

  • Jabber for Windows and the 'old' Click-to-Call

    Good evening

Is anyone able to tell me what is the status of Jabber for windows and "Click to call" function

Prior to Jabber, you could install the stand-alone click to call the client for windows to have the feature, then whith CUPC, you had to use the embedded click to call software for the feature, but now with Jabber, you have the TEL: and benefits: via an HTML page, but what as before, the integration of Microsoft Office (word, outlook, etc...)

I found no clear information on the subject.

It is still supported for the stand-alone Click Call software installed with also Jabber for Windows or not?

    Thank you for your reply,

    Kind regards

    Christophe

You cannot install them on the same PC as they will interfere with each other.
