  Quick question about the Acer C720 - is this a good camera to read pdf documents? Is it possible to have the full-screen pdf documents and read them in order to have the full page in PDF on the screen in portrait mode?

  Basically I have to go through hundreds of pages of pdf documents and I want to use the C720 as a tablet which has also a keyboard - I also need to take notes and I found very frustrating tablets for this.

  I use WebCenter content (11.1.1.8). I want to search in the documents. WebCenter content-> Administration-> management-> General Configuration Server, I put the following.

  I can search in TXT, HTM and XML files, but not in the PDF or DOCX files.  I after conversion failed.

  From what I've read, the index is built and what remains is that saved the file. If you save again, there apparently cancels the job. Why? I have no idea.

  I installed CIS CIS - admin - Server on the OC4J instance and configured an adapter for UCM. I am able to access the CIS GUI and retrieve documents using controls browse-> Active-> research methods.
  
  From there, I'm able to run queries like dDocTitle < match > "report". I get the correct results.
  
  I need to do a search of text here. Is there a method that supports research in full text from here?
  
  From my Java code I am able to get the results of queries like above. When I try to give a setting of text like "XYZ" instead of the query text search, it's during extraction all documents available in the content server. I'm facing the same problem of GUI of CIS, when I give a text like "XYZ" search in the query text field, he's back all the documents in the content server.

• PDF documents are INVISIBLE the Windows 7 search engine

  Help!  When you create PDF documents in 7 the window, no problem creation, open, move, copy, etc.  HOWEVER, when I use the search function of Windows 7 (start, enter the name in "search programs and files"), these PDF files are INVISIBLE to the search engine.  We never find them!  In addition, the icon of the thumbnail of the file that I created is the standard PDF icon BUT with a blue square in the lower left corner w / arrows 2 "superior to" (as opposed to a green box with a check mark).  Please HELP I use this function to search constantly and create PDF documents regularly!  Thank you!

  When I contacted Adobe support on this issue, I was told that the 64-bit filter had not been tested on Win7, so I went to the foxit iFilter.  Even this has not worked for me.  Then I discovered it was my antivirus software which is in conflict with Win7 ability to correctly generate indexes.

  I use the specific to Oracle orardf:textContains function of FILTER of SPARQL to search for full text on the MDSYS. Table RDF_VALUE of $.

  This customization is not supported through add_datatype_index, but you can directly create a text index on MDSYS. RDF_VALUE$ and the use with orardf:textContains in SPARQL queries. In other words, you don't have to go through add_datatype_index to create the index. As long as VNAME_PREFIX is included in the set of columns that are indexed, then orardf:textContains should work.

  For example:
