The problem is obvious. You have not enough memory installed. 4 GB is barely enough to run the system, the bare minimum. Note that all of these processes 'killed because of insufficient RAM'? For your less double your RAM 8 GB. If you can swing it install the maximum amount of RAM your system can support.
When your system is running out of RAM it uses free space on your hard drive for what is called virtual memory. It reads and writes to your hard drive, as if it's real memory and slowing down operations a lot.

Mid 2011 Mac Mini running slow/a lot of balloons of beach/HDD to research and writing
I have a Mid 2011 Mac Mini, which runs slower than a snail's pace. I frequently get beach balls as I type this message. Startup time is very long, and the hard drive is often written / search/access for several minutes at random throughout the day.
This seemed to start after I have updated to El Capitan 10.11.6. I decided a few weeks to reinstall OS X without doing a thorough cleaning. It did not help the situation, so I then proceeded to install the latest beta of Mac OS 10.12 to see if that helped. Nope. I don't think I have a bad hard drive, either.
I have just run an EtreCheck and copied below. Any ideas? I don't want to run my computer at the Apple store. Thank you!

Really slow Mac Mini on the first commissioning
I bought my Mac Mini because the old PC had an age to start up. Now, my Mac Mini is even worse. I also have an old portable (2010) I installed Windows 10 on, and it is much faster than my Mac! W10 is up and running on browser/email before Mac even gets to the user login page!
Advice on other posts, I ran EtreCheck and updated a printer with the HP software problem. Got sorted and it really helped. But its just as bad party, ran EtreCheck again, the results below, but while the Mac was still loading up, it's done intentionally to see if I can find what it keeps. There is nothing obvious in this, can we see something that miss me it please.
(Aware there are other posts like this but saw someone do an admonition to add their isses at the same post accusing them of 'thread-jacking')

I suggest you remove the Avast software according to the instructions of developers. You need anti-virus software on your Mac and often through other reports Avast here seems regarded as a cause of potential problems.
If you do remove it, restart the Mac and the test. If it makes any difference once Avast is removed, you can always reinstall it if you feel that you need (even if you haven't).

Avoid using third-party cleaning software. This software does more harm than good. You don't need it. All computers become slower over time even in normal conditions of use. Experienced users erasing the hard drive and do a clean install from scratch, from time to time; or every time that the installation of a major update of the OS. Do means if you must maintain regular and several backups.
Add more RAM or reduce the number of simultaneously executed from applications and utilities. Delete unnecessary anti-malware software and any software that promises to clean your Mac. Look for the runaway process: Runaway applications can shorten the battery life, affect performance and increase the heat and fan activity. Back up everything, wipe the drive, reinstall OS X and restore your data from backup. Reinstall the third-party software of original/zero media.

How can I stop the beach balling on my mac

End of 2012 very slow Mac. Etrecheck joint
I have a Mac to end 2012, El Capitan, which has been gradually running slower and slower. It seems preferable, once he is fully initialized, but it takes that which feels like an age to actually start, and if I try to open applications such as Mail, Safari. Finder etc., I sometimes get the beachball for several minutes. I ran a couple of Etrechecks for beachballing and the other for the computer is too slow. The disk information section seems worrying, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking at in the Etrecheck, so some constructive advice would be welcome.

Slow Mac - EtreCheck does not validate
My Mac worked very slow as of late and I use EtreCheck to try to identify any problems. He discovered a few Adware on my machine but I was unable to delete due to an EtreCheck error.
I do not have a firewall, so I don't know why it does not work. I would really like to see how things go after I was clean the adware.

Mac Book upwards, the heating fan noise
My mac book has problem with heating past 3-4 days, the fan creates a lot of noise, initially I was using tabs n of several apps at the same time then it was working fine, but now he hangs up. Sometimes apps leaving automatically.

My mac was slow not normally in recent times. Beginning take at least 10 minutes until I can enter my password, open the folders take 5-10 minutes

help-problems with Mac book since the upgrade to Yosemite
I have a 13 "Macbook, end of 2010. It is used to run perfectly until I installed Yosemite in late 2014 when he started to run slowly and Safari would crash. The problems have got worse with each update. Now when I boot, I get a white screen with a progress downstairs bar and it may take between 1-3 minutes before I get the logon screen. Programs also take a long time to load and I constantly get the rotation beach ball. I don't have any external hardware attached and am does not have any software that needs to use a lot of RAM.
