  In Windows Media Player. When I try to go to the library of configuration, I always get this error message:

• Windows Media Center EPG does not have the correct data

  Windows Media Center EPG on my computer is so ugly!

  Description is separated in two, and it's always the last part that displays first, so you'll have to roll down to the bottom to read the description.

  The series is difficult to use, because the series 1) is not always marked as series (so you can select 'plain' Record), and 2) the title contains often series of numbering (e.g. "the bodyguards (1:6)"), so even if it is marked as a series, it will record ever "Guards body (2:6)" or other titles (the Media Center will just try to record any episode of "Bodyguards (1:6)").

  It is the broadcaster who create * data, and then displays in Media Center via Broadcasting Dataservices Ltd., or who are the last to blame?

  What is MS Media Center that does not have the correct data?

  I am in Denmark, if this has an impact on the response.

  This isn't a "repairable" situation and the folks at Experts Windows won't
  a solution. Microsoft has removed Internet TV on September 20. The reason was not

• Windows Media Center visualizations will not work

  My Windows Media Center visualizations will not work for some reason any. its been like that for a while.
  When I listen to music and want to see my office shows that the program is still underway
  I thought it has something to do with the visualizations I instaled on Windows Media player
  (like ribbons and Upcube)
  I tried to remove them, they either come back or he will constantly ask me to go to it

  I missed a CD command before the directory (since corrected) so orders would be as follows:

  CD C:\program files\windows media player\visualizations\
  
  DIR

  You'll see the DLLs listed here, they are visualizations that have been installed (if the author decided to use directory default visualizations) NOTE: there may also be cases where the author badly spelled directory visualizations and used something like "visualizations".

  regsvr32.exe - u nom_fichier.dll  (use only the indicated file name that you want to remove)

  repeat if necessary.

• Why my XP Media Center PC does not update the guide?

  I was informed that my necessary guide updated and I have very updated in the last 2 weeks but he ran last night and I don't have a guide.  Which makes it very difficult to watch and record the TV Online, can anyone help?

• Guide TV Media Center has stopped working.

  I used Windows Media Center in windows 7 to watch & Record TV from my antena years. Display programming information, Guide suddenly stopped. Stations say "no data available", the downlaods guide but that's all I get.

  That is what it is?

  I had the same problem, but I tried the suggestion of Barb and it worked. I wnt to the TV set up and inserted a ZipCode nearby, and of course the EPG was back.

• Media Center Video card not detected error

  Media Library on my s3580a Slimline has suddenly stopped working.  Error bed undetected graphics card.  I followed the instructions to fix on the HP page. Hardware diagnostics shows no problem with the card.  Changed service Media Center receive and rebooted as suggested.  Have removed and reinstalled the PCI card. Used Recovery Manager to recover an hour before the error. PC was not connected to the network, so no update driver has occurred.  Searched drivers updated in any case but none are available and existing HP driver refused to load because it is the same version.  Can someone please?

  Crow, here's the latest nvidia driver for your video card.  Once you install it, let us know if it works.  If this isn't the case, we will return to the drawing board until what we solve your problem.

• Digital Cable Set Top Box connected to the Media Center computer, forced to keep MC on the use of channels 3-cant TV Guide in Media Center to record

  I have to keep the center of the media on channel 3, and the decoder controls the channel I want to watch or record.  For example if I want to record channel 631 21:00 to 23:00 I would say the MC to record channel 3 for as many programs they broadcast between 9 and 23:00.  This process does not allow registration of the MC - guide as it was planned. I have to use the channels on the cable box only and always have the Media Center on channel 3. Is it possible to come back with the MC TV Guide and record by this guide as it was designed to do, while still using the cable set top box or some other Descrambler for replacement by the cable operator?  Basically, the decoder is a decoder which makes us put all our TV on channel 3.  But the cable ready TV I hear do not need the box, they can use another device.  The computer can do the same?  Nobody seems to have no answer to this problem.  Help!?

  I read your question. I asked you what happened when running
  TV Setup and specifically want to know if the TV Setup detected your set top
  Box/decoder and it happened. If Media Center does not automatically detect your decoder,
  have you tried the manual method to learn codes? I'm trying to help you
  features of Media Center EPG.
   
  You must ask the FIOS people if they have the equivalent of a DTA

• Windows Media Center/player will not play my AVCHD videos

  I have a Canon Vixia HF R300 that came with a CD-ROM utility transfer, but not with the video ver.2 (Pixela) browser, which is supposed to work with my camera, but does not come with it and I can't find a download for it. I was able to transfer videos on my computer but not able to watch videos, much less edit. My videos have been saved in a folder called TVD_AVCHD, then in separate folders with .cpi and .mts 'pages' and a separate JPEG image. I tried to click on all of these files and used Windows Media Center and Media Player, but it says that no videos not found. Help, please. I know that my videos are okay because I can visualize in my camcorder and my TV.

  I have the Version of the Windows Media Center - Windows Vista 6.0.6002.18030 software (vistasp2_gdr.090429 - 2357).  I'm trying to watch TV on my laptop.  I have Windows Media Center and am confused about the version because I saw this - if the version number is 6.0.6001.18000, you are NOT running Windows Media Center TV Pack.  You are running the version of Windows Media Center, which is included in Windows Vista or in Windows Vista SP1.
   
  As you can see my version (numbers) are alittle different on the end, also the info in parentheses (vistasp2_gdr.090429 - 2357) I don't know what that means.  When I tried to configure the tv signal in Windows Media Center, I was told: the TV signal cannot be configured because no tv tuner hardware was detected. So, how can I find out if there is an internal tv tuner installed and everything is not detected?  My laptop is new - 3 weeks, and I think that all the drivers are current.   While they inspected the help windows vista hardware compatibility list for 64-bit vista tv tuners, I was flooded for more information that I knew what to do with.  I'm obviously not a computer genius and will never be.  I'm open to suggestions.  I just need to know what I have to do to be able to watch TV on my laptop.  Any help will be appreciated!   I have a HP m8300f desktop computer.  I bought the HP media center unit and the remote, but it is not recognized in Windows 7 (64-bit).

  I forced to use Microsoft's ehome recv.but which could not start.  But when I restarted the computer and plugged back, he found and started to download the other drivers from windows update.
