• Towards the end of 2015 memory 27-inch iMac

  Just got my iMac to 3.3 GHz 27 inch end of 2015 and looked at the memory already installed.  A bar of 4 GB of ram is installed in Bank 0 and Bank 1 is the other 4 GB of ram.  Just put two 8 GB of ram, 4 GB and 8 GB is in Bank 0, and the other 12 GB are in Bank 1.  Is this correct?  I thought that the ram was supposed to be the same size and type in each bank memory, for example 2 x 4 GB in Bank 0 and 2 x 8 GB to Bank 1.  The iMac doesn't seem to object and it seems the tests when it starts.  Help much appreciated.   Simply put the RAM in both slots empty and you will be fine. Don't resist it.

  Looking at the error, it seems that it could be caused by C++ MSVisual files damaged or missing.

  Your best bet is to Dreamweaver, use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems uninstalling and reinstalling Dreamweaver.

• InDesign and Illustrator CC 2015 does not show old eps correctly - files but through CS6. Solutions?

  I'm working on a 3. Edition of a book and during playback, it has been noted that I had misrepresented a number of formulas. I was a little scared and surprised, there are many formulas in the book, and I had not touched them when editing - changes have been made elsewhere in the book.

  I checked my InDesign document and was surprised to see the next note that the first image is an image in 'normal' mode, the second is a view "HQ" to the formula as in InDesign CC 2015 and the third is a dump of the pdf of the previous edition of the book, with InDesign update in may 2014.

  The eps with the forms file has not been changed in the meantime. This is an eps file (attached) described. When opening in Illustrator CC 2015, it looks like the view from HQ below, in Illustrator CS6, it looks like at the lower part one - that's the way it is supposed to look like.

  

  The issue has been resolved as such, I reinstalled an oldie, InDesign CS6, and then the files eps and formulas all looked at as they were supposed to, but its sad that I have to have both the new and old version of InDesign and Illustrator installed. Can anyone tell med why this problem occurs?

  You may not use EPS in modern times. Convert them to PDF or leave them in PDF format.

  If someone has a problem with EPS it is now very probably due to fonts not embedded, so I recommend you to convert them to PDF via Distiller and embed fonts.

  Be aware that more and more problems appear when someone uses T1 fonts. So, it is also best to avoid.

• What looks like a photoshop trial?

  If the request is in test mode, it will open Application Manager pop of the trial or trial under Apps menu lists Apps in Adobe Creative cloud.

  By 'points', I assume you mean that the events of the calendar in the past. There are two approaches that I know:

  1. export your calendar to a local file in ICS format. then use a text editor to remove the elements you don't want more; then import the file.
  2. Use a program I wrote to automatically remove all events before the year underway (i.e. 2015). Look at http://barryduggan.info/compIcal.php you will need some technical savvy to use it with Windows.

  Recently, I posted a message on a HP Pavilion dv6-3210us death.

  Received a motherboard replacement & after installation, I turned on. The fan ran & almost from the start, the computer turns off. When I turned it back to try again, he came with a message 'overheat '. I waited and tried again, and yet once, it returns the same results...

  Received another card mother replacement today and after further review (the original replacement is exactly the same) there is a chip with 3 screw for an another heat sink holes. It seems to be a video card with chips 4 memory along the side of it. The jury is exactly the same as the original with the exception of these chips. Does anyone know about this chip & if there is another type of heatsink / fan for it?

  I read your post and see you're wondering if there's an another heatsink for your HP Pavilion dv6-3210us Entertainment.

  I took a glance at the guide to maintenance and maintenance for your laptop, there are two different heatsinks for this model of laptop. The type of heat sink depends on the graphics used in the notebook (either discrete or UMA).

• HP ENVY 15-j030eb - SSD HARD drive replacement

  Really hard to find all the information on the net regarding this laptop (no reviews, no tweaks etc.). Again I would buy the desire because of his good record. However only if the following can be done:

  Replace the HARD drive internal 1 TB per a DDI, preferably a Samsung 840 EVO Series 250 Gb.

  If so, can you just plug in, or do you need to support etc. Anyone who has done this before?

  I understand that you are looking to put a 256 GB SSD in the HP ENVY 15-j030eb. I'd be happy to help you with this. I'm you provide a link to the HP Support document: PC portable HP ENVY 15 and HP ENVY TouchSmart 15 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service of Guide. If you look on page 5 you will see that the HP ENVY 15 laptop only supports an SSD 24 GB mSATA, your wanting to install the 256 GB it would not work. What you would end up with, it's either the BIOS would not see the drive at all or it would be very slow and you would lose any benefits that you would get to use an SSD.

  To answer your second question in the guide even if you go to page 44, you will see instructions on how to install an SSD in your laptop.

  The fan on my sisters laptop computer has stopped working, making the laptop overheating and turning off.
  The laptop is an Equium L10-300.
  Also, the warranty has expired, giving 2 options, get a professional to open it and change the fan or do it myself.

  Nobody knows the type in the assembly code radiator & fan how do I disassemble the machine, I tried to find a guide to disassembly without look much.

  Hmm, as far as I know, you need to set cooling module which has been designed especially for this series of satellite.
  These special Toshiba parts can be bought from the AEP from Toshiba, which is responsible for your country!

  I recommend to contact the guy and to order this part.
  In addition, you should ask for additional help on the replacement of the cooling module. Disassembly of the laptop is not easy and a little trickier. People with no experience could damage other parts during disassembly procedure. That is why it s really desirable assistance some technicians.

  My Tecra A5 has 256 MB installed.
  I understand that this can be upgraded to 2 GB. I bought two 512 MB modules, but under the memory cover between it seems to only be space to install a plug-in. Y at - it might be an another available socket to use somewhere. I would appreciate a guide idiots please as looks that I totally wrong the process to upgrade the memory on my laptop.

  Second location of memory, that you can find under the keyboard. Keyboard is fixed with two screws and you can find them under the cover of the band. If you want to do it alone, please take it easy because you can damage the sensitive plastic piece.

  My laptop fans spin at all,
  I installed the fan at speed and it does not even acknowledge the fans, temperatures are between 60 and 70 degrees, but when I insisted on the laptop to 80 degrees the beginning "emergency" fan very weak until she went from 80.

  You absolutely must see the Toshiba power saver options (if pre-installed and available on you laptop).
  But to be honest I don't see serious problems with your laptop.
  If your computer laptop doesn't overheat the fans work very well.
  With overheating, I mean a stop suddenly at the bottom. In this case, the laptop would be closed to prevent the equipment from damage.

  But it seems that your laptop works ok, however, you can check if an update of the BIOS (if available) would increase the performance of fans and sensitivity.

  I have seen your post on how your Deskjet 2540 prints a page of print quality every time that the printer is on, and also the page "use printer wireless without router" is printing.

  I'll start with the PQ page that prints at the start of the printer, as it is normally a sign of a hardware problem with the printer.

  Try to update the firmware on the printer. Here is the link to download and run the update using a USB connection to your Vista system: HP Deskjet 2540 series Firmware update

  Try a reset of the power to the printer and make sure the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help greatly.

  Press the power button to turn the product on.
  With the product, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
  Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  Wait at least 15 seconds.
  Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
  Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
  If the product does not light by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

  If the PQ page always print after you are done troubleshooting, try the steps outlined in this guide below. I looked at the steps that I see would take place in the tent for your specific problem and chose the steps following, Please do not take account of the actual title.
