  The "iamnewbie" password that you configured is probably for the configuration of the router at 192.168.1.1 page and not your wireless key.

  In order to change the wireless key, open a web browser with the above IP address and access the Setup page using the pw "iamnewbie."  Go to the wireless security section.  In this area, you should see the 339KEXXX key that you can change to your favorite Wi - Fi key.

  The "M" 'virtual' drive that resides on Exchange (55 additional GB, its representation is not just messages of real exchange located on who will drive you have configured for the mail store).

  I put in place of cluster HA on VMware ESX 3.5, but I have some question if I suddenly stop my node of a cluster (ESX) then what has happened with the guest computer running on this node how they migrate to another host they start newly on second ESX clsuter node or running machine migrates on other hosts. can someone explain to me the whole HA.

  It is a common misconception that HA depends on vmotion - this is not the case. When a host fails to stop restarted and virtual machines on other nodes of the cluster. So when you stop your ESX Server it is treated as if the host is dead and the virtual machines to restart on the other nodes - which is what you see. What you can do is to place the ESX Server in maintenance mode that will give you the opportunity of vmotion the vms to other nodes before stopping the ESX Server or if you have active DRS and in fully automatic mode it will automatically vmotion machines virtual to the other nodes.

• Migration of data from records on Win2K8 cluster to a new SAN SAN

  I hope that someone here might have a clear answer to my question. We are currently working on a project to migrate all the data of a former SAN that stores our info Win2K8 Cluster (Quorum, MSDTC and SQL DBs) to a new SAN. I know that databases SQL, the plan is to simply detach the DBs with in SQL, stop SQL services, move the DBs from the old drive to the new location and then reconnect, we intend to reuse the drive letter, so that there will be real problems.

  What I'm having a hard time trying to figure out, is how to move successfully the readers of the page Web MSDTC and Quorum, would I simply create a new set and removing the current Quorum and MSDTC leads or is there a way to move the data on the page Web MSDTC and the Quorum of the current location reuse the old drive letters and stored it on the new San without having to change any configuration or break the cluster.

  Hello Experts! I'm hoping to get help on the SCV Clustering... I know that with the VCS X7.1, it says that VCS clustering requires a configuration with the same cluster name on all VCS, same pre-shared key for cluster on all VCS communication and same feature option keys (i.e. provisioning, findme, H.323 - SIP gateway, etc.).

  That said, can someone please confirm if a peer of VCS can participate in a single Cluster VCS? Or - is it possible to have a single VCS to join two or more different VCS groups? If so, can you point me to the right docs?

  You can not only VCS join 2 different groups.

  To join a cluster, you must have some common paramtere through peers as FULL, pre-shared key domain name.

  VCS only single entry to these settings so I don't see a layout in which you can not enter the FULL domain and pre-shared mupltiple.

It is equivalent to an Oracle extended RAC, but with Weblogic. Our link between sites is extremely fast, dedicated, with a latency of less than 5 ms. Is it possible and cost-effective to build such a solution?

  (2) regarding the deployment of the application, I would like to know if it is possible to deploy an application on Weblogic Server just on node A, and this application is automatically replicated on the Weblogic Server in site B? As far as I know, I have to deploy the application on both Weblogic servers manually.

  I have 2 IBM (M4 Systemx3650 IBM, Intel® Xeon® CPU E5 - 2620 V2 2.10 GHz, 12 processors * 2,099 GHz) hosts.

  one DELL number (PowerEdgeR730, Intel® Xeon® CPU E5 - 2630 V3 @ 2.40 GHz, 16 processors * 2,399 GHz) host with much more kit license vmWARE. configured in a single cluster and all ARMY 3 are under the same group.

  Problem 1: attempt to activation of DRS, get error because I'm not allowed to activate DRS for license and DELL host must be updated to the same.

  "Problem 2: attempt to activate CVSIntel® Ivy Bridge ' generation is not tenable for host DELL and Intel®"Haswell"generation is not tenable to accumulated both IBM hosts.

  If someone could suggest an easy way to overcome it / what step should I take to solve it.

  So now the problem is simple, since you do not have a problem of compatibility really :-) Since vCenter VM is started in one of the hosts, you must perform this procedure: VMware KB: VCA allowing on a cluster when vCenter Server is running in a virtual machine

  The VCA level for the new cluster must be Ivy Bridge.

Serengeti helps you plan and configure the virtual machines according to your specifications. You can use virtual machines to the cluster basis to install large data applications.

  The basic cluster does not install application of large data files used when you create a cluster Hadoop and HBase. Instead, you can install and manage applications data with tools for third-party such as Apache Ambari application or Cloudera Manager management in your environment of large Extensions of data and integrate with your Hadoop software. The basic cluster does not deploy a cluster Hadoop and Hbase. You must deploy software in virtual machines from the base of the cluster by using a third-party external application management tool.

  The Serengeti includes a cluster annotated sample specification file that you can use as an example, when you create your database cluster specification file. In the Serengeti Management Server, the specification sample file is located at opt/serengeti/samples/basic_cluster.json. You can change the configuration values in the cluster sample specification file to meet your needs. The only value, you cannot change is the value assigned to the role for each node group, which must always be basic.

  You can deploy a base with the data Extension plugin Big cluster by using a custom cluster specification file.

  To deploy the software on the basis of the VMS cluster, use the cluster list - command of detail, or runserengeti - ssh.sh cluster_name to get the IP address of the virtual machine. You can then use the IP address with applications such as Apache Ambari or Cloudera Manager to set up the virtual machine with the software of your choice. You can configure the management application using the serengeti of username and the password you specified when creating the cluster basis within large data Extensions when management tool requires a username and password for you to connect to the virtual machines.

• Integration of a 3rd server in a cluster.

  Hi Experts,

  I have a problem with my current setup and would need some expert advice.

  Currently, I have a production environment with 2 hyperion installation clustered, configured, works well and a test environment setup on another server on the same network, also configured, works very well.

  All 3 instances have the same components installed:

  11.1.2.1: Foundation, EE, FR, FRFramework, Web Analytics, provider services.

  The client wants to test installation of environment in the cluster. Thus, we have a production of a group of 3 instances of hyperion environment.

  From my research, I can not just load the EMP configurator to "reconfigure" (Foundation/en/eas/wa/aps) components to point its database on the prod environment.

  I see 2 possibilities:

  1 - remove from the current instance and create a new one to point to the Production cluster.

  2 ignore the current instance and add a new instance that is configured to point to the Production cluster.

  You know a viable alternative?

  Given that I've never done this, I wonder, if I followed option 2, create a new instance and configure it on the cluster... what will happen to the old instance?

  Lots, you mean scripts? I do not understand why they cannot be kept, maybe I'm missing something but if you no longer need the test environment and then wipe it off and set it up again.
