Had a BSOD

Hello

I had recently played Doom for a few days, when he crashed several times during the game. I thought nothing of it until todeay when I got a blue screen of death with the title ATTEMPTED_SWITCH_FROM_DPC. Not sure what is the exact cause, but the cause seemed to come from 'ntoskrnl.exe '. Hello

Error checking 100000B 8, {fffffa8015cae170, fffffa8015732060, 0, 0}

Probably caused by: ntkrnlmp.exe (nt! KiSwapContext + 7 (a)

Ntkrnlmp.exe is a component of Windows which means than anything else he has led astray.

There is no other real help in the minidump. So you'll have to take a wide varied approach and do everything to try to solve the problem.

1. check with the DOOM support and forums that others may encounter the same problems. Games stress the system and may cause issues when everything else works within the plug.

2-A. Check with the support of ASUStek, their online documentation and drivers and ask questions in the forums about known problems. Updated the BIOS, chipset drivers and other drivers of major on-board and separate devices (see methods in previous answer).

3 remove ALL power. Then carefully remove the cards one time and put back them into their slots. Do the same for memory, then the cables. A loose connection or corrosion can cause strange problems. Add a small fan blowing in the provision or in the Open box (associated with heat does not always mean there is excessive heat as a single component might be too sensitive to even normal levels of heat.)

My OS (Vista 64 Ultimate) was already on my hard drive from my old system, I just moved it into the new system.  I went on cases and power too, but I don't know if it's relevant.  Basically the only things from my old system that were recovered were my 2 ATI 4850HD vid cards and my hard drives.  Everything else is new.  I loaded all drivers of my motherboard, it was a bit of a PITA, but I did.  I was getting A LOT of BSODS in the beginning, but after that I loaded everything and did a registry clean it "seemed" he ran smooth.  It's always the same or similar message, the figures could change a bit, but it's the same fundamental mistake.  Any help is VERY appreciated.

Install the original operating system > then go to Vista.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a set of operating system recovery disk/s original.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

Well I'm getting really frustrated on this laptop, it's almost 2 weeks
and I already had 2 BSOD the strange accident where the mouse moves, but nothing

Today, I got a BSOD everything I did was run a few the taskbar called untility

in any case here is a run down on what I installed that day with my laptop.
-Installed all XP security updates and patches
-Installed Firefox 1.0.1 (do not trust IE6.0 yet)
-Iriver (my mp3 player) installed Download Manager
-Installed winamp 2.0 and Creative Cam Notebook.
I ran a chkdsk forced start and no problems found.
Another thing I found interesting was almost every time my laptop BSOD I usually
find a yellow marker on my net adapter 1394 (firewire port) in device mananger

Anyone else had problems or similar recommendations?

    see you soon,

    Richard S.

    Hi Richard

I understand that you that you are unhappy with it all the problems, but there may be many reasons for this. In my opinion this can happen because of some useless day or some drivers installed by third-party software that you have installed on your laptop.

Please reinstall OS using the recovery CD. After firs start check in Device Manager if there is some hardware problem. If not you than trying to start the free Config (doctor of connectivity) and a few other tools Toshiba to check if everything is ok.

If everything is ok try to install SP2 if you n t have on your machine (just SP2 and not separately updates and patches). I don't know, but some of the A60 are delivered with SP2.

Install all your programs slowly and carefully follow what happened after each step you did.

My modules of memory are dead for no apparent reason

In my opinion the RAM modules need to be checked.
Remove one and check both in each slot
But it would be better to use the new modules.

However, if the problem is not related to modules of RAM then it must be a serious problem of material possibly a motherboard or something like that

Ox9F errors are pilot errors.   Often they are solved by updating the graphics driver, but it could be any driver.  Sometimes something wrong in the system can cause a problem to another driver - they can be very difficult to solve.

I saw a document on the Microsoft Web site that may apply - I might try what it says and see if that makes a difference.   http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982091

Also - make sure that you have updated the graphics and TV tuner driver (and everything that needs to be updated) - there were a few difficulties for crashes and blue screens in some of them.

    Radeon HD 6950 video card
Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 4 GB to PC15000
    MSI P67A-GD65 Motherboard
    Intel i5 processor

I installed everything on the disk, but when I went into my browser I instantly BSOD Multiple_IRP_REQUESTS_COMPLETE
This has happened every time that I went on my browser, sometimes instantly, or up to 10 minutes
Then I reinstalled my Internet Explorer browser(Firefox) and soon the IE BSOD

A friend thought that maybe it was Ram related so I did a bios memory test and it worked perfectly
then he told me to download the minidumps via xfire
There was something in .sys associated with Daemon tools, so I uninstalled and deleted the .sys file
It worked for maybe 2 hours until I had another BSOD
So I decided to just play games (Bad Company 2) until I could get my friend on the computer again, I didn't have a problem with that, up to this that may have been 2 hours
past and I got the BSOD in SQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I kept getting that at random times playing it.

The friend finally got online and I gave him the minidumps, and he said that befcm3xp was in the files... Well, which is linked to my modem so I got rid of this file and got him a new file
At this point the BSOD became less frequent, and after I got the new file I did not get an another BSOD until perhaps 7hours had passed, it was an another SQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Today, I looked at the internet and got an another Multiple_IRP_REQUESTS_COMPLETE
so I told my friend I was going to just to get a few mindumps more so he can review and it was an another two SQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
before I gave it to him, he said it is still associated with BEFCM3XP

I have no idea what to do now

It's my generic how updates of appropriate driver: (look for updates to the BIOS and the driver).

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows

  • T410 nvlddmkm.sys BSOD on startup

    Hi all

I had my T410 since the end of last month and had a BSOD on startup several times so far. Whenever I caught, I noticed that the driver nvlddmkm.sys nvidia was the cause. Each time the BSOD, I get the prompt "windows did not start successfully", how by selecting "Start windows normally" translates the fine start System. Since this BSOD is only presented to a cold start, I'm not too hampered by it outside my boot up times by doubling the time it does. I ran the update of the bios/driver Thinkvantage, as well as I'm running with the latest updates for Win7 Pro x 64.

Everyone knows this? If so, have you found a solution? No matter what Lenovo personal support out there have an entry?

    Thank you

    TSalinas

  • Sudden BSoD. Kernel Power event 41 task 63. And other questions...

While many may be called from a previous thread, I have made, my monitor that's happened wobbly with will power during the boot. I have not solved this issue, by the by, but think it's time for a new monitor.

However, today when I went to go do something else while leaving the start the computer to the top, I came back and (while the screen was still ongoing and disable this monitor because), I noticed he had a BSoD. I couldn't read anything on this screen because of the screen, so I restarted the computer (what makes the monitor stop acting in place). Entered the event viewer and had found it to be an event 41 task 63. Whatever it may be. So that's what I see in the critical error XML view:

    -
    -

      41
      2
      1
      63
      0
      0 x 8000000000000002

      System

      0 x 0
      0 x 0
      0 x 0
      0 x 0
      fake
      0

I don't know what it means at all, but what I'm collecting, event 41 is related to the PSU? But if it is the power supply, what block of POWER of the MONITOR (which I guess would be the problem as the monitor was going to power he has) or power supply of the current COMPUTER (which I really hope is not the case)? Or is it something else entirely?

In addition to all this, I noticed that everytime I start the computer and run Core Temp to check the temperature, I often find it starts at about 50-60 degrees and rest around there until some good long minutes (about 20-40 minutes) before it comes down to temperatures that are easier to manage (30-40 degrees). I guess that's just the Tower need ventilated, but that would be linked to the sudden BSoD on boot to the top?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

The problem may be caused for various reasons and to diagnose the problem, we can try the following methods and check.

Method 1: Start the computer Safe Mode and check if the problem persists. If the problem does not persist in safemode, turn on your computer in a clean boot state and check.

Step 1: Start the computer in Safe Mode

Safe mode is an option of troubleshooting for Windows that starts your computer in a limited State. Only basic files and drivers needed to run Windows are started. The words Safe Mode appear in the corners of your monitor to identify which Windows mode you are using.

Please refer to: start your computer in safe mode

Step 2: Perform a clean boot in order to avoid any conflict of third party software.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Place your system in the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: see 'How do I reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting' to reset the computer starts normally after troubleshooting.

Method 2: Please refer to the article below and try the advice given to solve the problem.

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

  • RDP hosts BSOD - Code SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION: 0x0000003b

    Original title: RDP hosts BSOD

We recently took 10 desktop computers that employees used in a branch at Headquarters and set them to remote desktop for the employees of the branch can have faster access to the resources of main office.

Three of the new RDP to the headquarters hosts suffered a BSOD event. They are all:

    Chain: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    Code: 0x0000003b
    P1:00000000'c0000005
    Pilot: win32k.sys

Each computer has undergone at least one of these since moved BSOD (one had 3, the most recent being yesterday) and never had a BSOD before moving.

I made sure they are updated, sfc/scannow and antivirus scans have been done and revealed no problems.

One of them was installed KB2939180 to respond to a question of freezing and had his first BSOD a few days later (in some cases that KB is used to solve this problem).

In troubleshooting, I applied this patch: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2525246

From the application, machine a BSOD was again with exactly the same discharge.

I fight on a path to go down.

Before the move, those workstations had never BSOD had and were quite stable.

They are all Lenovos (different models, different years of manufacturing), using cards Quadro and Windows 7 Ultimate edition.

I had two BSOD today resulting with the same code 0 x 00000044. One was while I was playing the Sims 4 and have Firefox open.

This isn't a final reading.  I would like to run it again.  If this is not a fall in the first pass of 6-7 is not bad.  If so, it could be either ram or the motherboard.
