laptop HP pavilion g7 running windows 7 is more bed wireless network adapter

My hp pavilion g7 as lx503av bed is no longer the wireless network card. instead of the icon being displayed wireless, I have only the icon of LAN. When I checked the Device Manager, the wireless network card was not shown. Once I scanned for hardware puts a couple of times, the adapter that presented themselves and the LAN icon changed the wireless icon. When I clicked it, it says "no connection is available" until my router is turned on and just next to me. In the meantime my wireless switch is turned off and remained so no matter how many times I try to turn it on. I tried reinstalling the drivers, nothing works. What continues?

  • Satellite L500-13z - Windows 7 does not recognize wireless network adapter

    Hello

The Windows 7 RC Device Manager does not recognize my wireless network adapter (for example: Atheros, Intel or Realtek). I tried to install all the Toshiba support drivers, but none of them work:

After installation, they ask me to connect the unit to my computer (of course it is still on the motherboard!).

=>, Is there a way to know what is my Wifi adapter?

that one failed: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD7201PO000SR01.htm (this is the only Word to say "network adapter" with a yellow exclamation point).

-Online someone knows when will be released Windows 7 drivers on the website?

    Hello

Before you begin to install all drivers WLAN you can find on the Toshiba site you must make sure that wireless network card, you have exactly. You can check in the Device Manager-online properties-online Details of the local network adapter device.
Need you an information like PCI\VEN_XXXX & DEV_XXXX

If you have based this information you are looking for with these terms on this site in order to determine the exact WLAN card:
    http://www.PCIDatabase.com/

After that, you can download the driver appropriate for your laptop. Before installing, you must uninstall all other versions and restart the laptop.
Also, make sure that the WIFI is enabled with the hardware switch and FN + F8.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5510y of: No. Wireless Network Adapter installed

I just bought a Pavilion Slimline S5510Y Desktop opportunity; not an installed wireless network adapter.   Y at - it somewhere that I can download the map?

Here is the PAGE of SUPPORT for this office.  It doesn't have a wireless adapter.  It has a wired aka the installed ethernet card.  The wireless adapter is a piece of hardware and must be purchased, not downloaded.  There are choices in the type would work better for you - USB or PCI x 1.  It may depend on the type of network you want to use.  The new highspeed options may require an adapter corresponding to the specification of network router in order to achieve faster speeds of the AC.  If you look at the "n" speeds then most can do.  Also be aware of the bands 2.4 and 5 GHz for newer routers.  If all this sounds "Greek", then perhaps seek help from a friend.

  • HP Pavilion g6-1d28dx drivers for laptop PC Wireless Network Adapter?

I'm helping my friend with his HP Pavilion g6-1d28dx Notebook PC, formatted the HARD drive and reinstalled Windows 7 (64-bit). There is, unfortunately, not the CD that came with the laptop for its pilots, we are now able to have a new CD delivered for us, so I used the site to HP support for its Ethernet controller drivers and used a program called Driver Genius 12 for the rest because for some reason, not all the drivers on the support site of work. The only question I have now is that Driver Genius is not correctly install the wireless network adapter and is not the HP support Site. He travels a lot, wireless connectivity is important on this PC. It can connect via its ethernet port, but the wireless adapter cannot see all the networks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You are the very welcome.

Here are links to the drivers you need...

I usually google the hardware ID, and then go to the support page and pilot of the model for pilots.

I think knowing that there is a driver for the wireless card is a year newer than the one in the laptop support and driver page, so I posted a place.

When you have helped so many people that I have, all I have to do now is to see the material ID's for most of the devices, and I know what they are.

For example... I didn't need to look for yours.

I think I spend too much time doing so.

  • HP Pavilion p6 - 2220t: Thunderbolt just zapped my hard wired network adapter

    • Standards for the transmission: 1000-Base-T Ethernet

In my opinion, than a bolt of lightning just zapped my hard wired network adapter.  Everything else is fine, including the wireless network adapter.  But my computer doesn't even know he has a LAN adapter.

It does not appear in the network and sharing Center > change adapter settings.  Only the connection wireless network card is listed.

It does not appear in Control Panel > Device Manager > network adapters.  Yet once that the wireless adapter is listed.

My AT & T Modem is fine and the wireless router that I plugged it is fine.  The lightning did not affect them.

The Web page of the modem displays my pc as part of home network devices but shows its status of 'off '.  I think that if I click on scan for devices, it would pass in the list because there seems to be no current communication between the modem and the card ethernet at the moment.

I am however connected to the modem via my wireless router and from there, connection to internet is normal.  So, I don't think it's a problem of modem.  This same modem provides TV service and phone as well.

I think that for some reason any that the wired adapter got zap and disappeared.  And since there is no way the computer to find it, I do not think I can load drivers or something like that.  Since this is a 'built-in LAN' I think too which may mean it is part of the motherboard and I can't just insert another card.  I don't know how in any case.

    (1) it sounds like my adapter was killed?  Or y at - it another way to diagnose his health when the computer doesn't even know it's there. (Usual tools find no problem because they only check the wireless connection, because any other adapters is located.)

    (2) can I solve this problem by getting a USB Ethernet adapter, rather than take to the shop for repairs?  Especially if I have to get a new motherboard.  BTW, what does 'Integrated LAN' means?

    (3) my USB ports are 2.0 so I know it is not necessary to get a faster USB Ethernet adapter.  But is there anything else I need to know on which is compatible with this computer?

    Thank you for your help.

    More troubleshooting:

It is possible that the drivers you use, even if later now available, are not
100% Windows compatible 8.1. Check with the manufacturer of your system (motherboard support
Manufacturer of custom systems) and/or the manufacturer of the device. This one, like Intel,
RealTek, Atheros and others may have newer versions is not available to the mother of system
-site of the manufacturer on board. And continue to check in with them regularly over the next year.
Also update the BIOS, drivers from the chipset of low level and major embedded and separate
    device drivers.

Download your applications and devices in Windows 8.1

    =========================================================

Don't forget to check the updates of the firmware on the router, because who can have a definite effect
on connections Windows 8.1 same if other OS systems connections are fine.

Check with support of the manufacturer of the system (motherboard for customized systems manufacturer) and/or
the manufacturer of real device driver updates. If there is no newer versions re - install the same
ones. Ask known in their forums (if any) problems.

  • ConfigFree: windows pop up message: sellers application is controlling the wireless network adapter

    Hello

When I draw a line from nearby wireless networks (with or without WEP security) to the laptop in the middle icon,
a popup message with the text: the provider application is controlling the wireless card.
Does anyone know what this message or where I can get the answer to this question?

After clicking on it you may see far (only the 'ok' button is available), the connecting line with the laptop wireless network disconnects after
    a few seconds.

Thanks a lot for helping me...

    Hello

In my opinion this message appears because a 3rd WLan utility configures and controls the WiFi connection!
    There are different possibilities:
The laptop uses the Intel wireless network adapter and the Intel Proset utility configures the WLan
    Or
The laptop uses the Atheros WLan card and Atheros Client utility configures the WLan
    Or
The windows have the option has been enabled and do this job.

In this case ConfigFree application cannot configure and control the WiFi connection!

  • Satellite A300 1QE - Windows can't find any wireless network

    Hello

Please help me with a problem of annoing with radio.

The story is like this:-J' I bought a laptop with Vista preinstaled... I used only once the wireless and worked very well... after a while I have reinstaled Vista, vista ultimate editing... I used 2 days the wireless and then suddenly found no more... wireless network I have reinstaled vista 2 weeks ago, and now I bought a wireless router and set a network... same problem : "Windows cannot find any wireless network"... with a laptop dell, I found 2 networks (one I created and the other a neighbor with very good signal).

    Collaborative I've tried:

1 http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9602NC0000R01.htm - in the directory toshiba\wlan there are 3 directories: intel, atheros and realtek... following the steps, the only factor that installs is intel one... If I try to navigate to the folder Realtek can't find anything compatible... (the network lan card is realtek, so I guess that the Wlan should be the same... as also indicated in the url)

"I have the latest drivers from the toshiba Web site
"the wireless is a turn on"

    2. I thought that might be a vista problems, so I instaled all the vista updates available... still no work

The next sollution I try is updating the bios, but I have no whink it is useful.

So please help me with a sollution for my WiFi problem!

    Thank you

    Hi creativu22,

First, you must identify the type of wireless network card before you begin to install all the drivers available. Therefore, you can also search with vendor and device ID.
    Check this box!

If you have installed the driver successfully and your wireless network adapter is listed in the Device Manager, you must check the TCP/IP settings. Maybe you need to use static IP addresses, but it depends on your router.

Try turning off also in Power Options Windows WLAN energy saving features!

  • Changing the settings of the WLAN with an Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter running on a Vista computer

How can I set the preset wlan on ONE for an Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter running on a Vista computer.  Currently, the default is OFF and I need to use the Fn F1 to bring up the option to turn it on, Iwant my laptop to connect to my wireless router automatically without having to do that.

    Thank you

    Hi Cath.

In most cases, it is a configuration in the BIOS of the laptop that will solve the wireless by card.

Then start the laptop enter in BIOS and look for an entry that configure the wireless to be all the time card.

Where necessary the manual or computer support site must have the necessary info.
