  I recently acquired a voice recorder HccToo 8 GB. However, whenever I connect it to my computer I get a message saying that the device is ready to use and after a few minutes the error message "hardware Id missing.
  The usb cable that connects to the camera has no problem (and should be universal). And I tried to connect to other computers on win 7 with the same results. I also watched online solutions, but this problem seems to apply mainly to phones.

  I would be grateful for any advice on what I can do about it.

  Did you try to connect other USB devices and check the issue?

  If problem persists, try the steps to uninstall the USB Device Manager, uninstall the drivers of device from the list of programs, and then download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.

  Step 1:

  Uninstall the device from Device Manager

  • Open the Device Manager
  • Expand the USB section.
  • Find the USB device.
  • Click with the right button on USB and select Uninstall.
  • Select the check box delete the driver for this device.
  • Restart the computer after the uninstall is complete.

  Step 2:

  Uninstall the drivers of device from the list of programs in the control panel

  • Click Start, select Control Panel
  • Now, click on programs and select programs and features.
  • Find the USB.
  • Right-click USB driver and select Uninstall.
  • Restart the computer after the uninstall is complete.

  Step 3:

  Download and install the latest drivers for the USB on the manufacturer's Web site

  I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I use Kies to sync. When I plug in, I get a missing Hardware ID message. Technical Samsung that's my com puter that's the problem. I tried all the normal channels of re install via Kies, Factory Reset etc. It works on my Mac but not my desktop PC.  DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM

  I've had this problem since the first day after the purchase of my sgh-t999 s3 but would work every time for awhile when I unplug and plug it in. Then two weeks ago stopped working all together. I tried all the patches and reboots that are suggested and nothing. Simple fix, when your phone is pugged in computer draw to the bottom of the top screen and go in the settings to connect pc usb phone to PSG in the TPP and let it intalize then return to PSG. I've had no problems since doing so. I hope this helps and others do not have to go through all the evils I have.

  Check the following policy.

  In Windows 7, you can set the strategy of quick deletion for an external USB device. It doesn't disable the setting cache file for the device that allows to bypass the component to safely remove.

  1. plug the device into the USB port.

  2. open the Windows Explorer, click on the device in the navigation pane , and then select the properties/material tab.

  3. Select the device in the list and click the Button properties , click the Change settings button.

  4. Select the policies tab.

  5. Select the option of rapid withdrawal .

  6. click OK/apply/OK.

  Hey! I seem to have a problem.

  I just did a clean install of Windows 7 on my HP Pavilion dv6. In the BIOS it says it's an a1u58av. (dv6t 6 c 00?)

  All those I work except for the Wifi drivers. I downloaded the ralink those, and they do not seem to work. I get the windows error message that they do not seem to be installed correctly. After several attempts, research on Google and it recharges, I still can't connect to wifi, or even find task bar icon in my status bar. Realtek LAN drivers work for the ethernet, and this is what I currently use.

  I just bought a laptop HP Pavilion preloaded with Windows 8 17-f002na

  I deleted Windows 8 and did a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit.

  Everything works well except the wirelss chip, I can't find a Windows 7 driver anywhere. HP support tell me that it's a Broadcom chip but I don't have the number, so model Ihad that I can get the driver from Broadcom site.
