Harman kardon makes noises of cracking on my M40

Hello, I have M40 - 101, and my problem is my speakers crackling and noise burst (when using media player, winamp a bit higher volume). What can I do for this problem? is this hardware or software problem? Thanks for your help...
(I also try Start/settings/control panel/soundmax)
And the value of the management of energy in any economy. the clickings order but crackin and popping is not fixed to the top)

Hello

You should sett 'Power' Mode for the soundcard for "No. Power Savings.

Start-> Control Panel-> Sound Max-> power management. Change the Mode 'Power' of 'Economies of normal energy' (default) or 'High energy savings' to 'No Power Savings'. Then it should work!

Good bye

Is there a software in the laptop for the harman kardon noise areas. or maybe a special driver for the sound available.

    Hello

I think you re a bit confused. Am I wrong?
In my opinion, he must erase something. You will need only a driver for the sound card and not for the speakers or boxes that sounds.
I put t know how you connect this boxes, but I assume you are using the headphone jack.

However, if the sound appears on your laptop, you need to do is plug the external speakers and in addition, you can see the sound and audio devices in your control panel.

  • How to connect Harman Kardon adapt using WPS

I have a Harman Kardon adapt - whole House audio peripheral wireless which acts as a bridge to existing Hi-Fi - a bit like a bridge of Sonos. It will connect a wi - fi network using WPS. When I press the WPS on the Adapt, then use Apple Airport Utility 6.3.6 to add a WPS printer, it gives me an "error of connection Adapt" and then shows me Adapt MAC address. I can't ever it connects. Any help?

Make sure that the name of the wireless network on your router AirPort is...

... In short no more than 20 characters in total

Simple... use only normal and numbers letters... and not special characters like an apostrophe, dollar sign, asterisk, etc.

Compact, without spaces in the name

For example, a wireless network network name as...

    addict3 Red Apple wireless network

Not going to have much chance to allow the HK unit to connect

    Try something ike

    addict3wireless

Make sure that you have assigned a distinct name to the 5 GHz network... but using the 2.4 GHz for HK device network. If it connects to the 2.4 GHz network, then you can try the 5 GHz network to see if it can connect to this higher frequency signal.

If still no luck, try to connect the device HK manually... not not using WPS

  • faulty internal drive, make noise, even when empty

My internal DVD drive is faulty and continues to make noise as if a disc is stuck in there. The noise stops when the computer goes into mode "Eve". It is an iMac 2007 and probably not worth the cost of a repair. Is it possible to stop the noise by turning off the player or eject it somehow from the hardware list. The computer works perfectly in all other aspects. I guess I could learn to live with the noise, but would rather not if someone out there has a solution. Thank you

You can always buy an optical drive of the correct specification of several sellers &

have one put in, or use an online guide to replace the component yourself.

Identify the exact model of guidance to see what is involved in the restoration of the iMac.

    • iMac repair guide intel - iFixit:

    https://www.iFixit.com/device/iMac_Intel

One of the online sellers whose inventory likely includes an optical replacement

Reader SuperDrive equivalent for the iMac (intel) would be OWC macsales. They also have

some DIY video guides to see how to make various repairs. Generally a little

additional tools would be needed. While the iMac is open for the replacement of this

part, is an opportunity for the battery of the clock to be replaced as well. Maybe even

drive hard replace; hard disk rotation is probably rather worn.

So, it could be a great DIY project, if you went into it knowingly, with the right parts,

tools and patience. Lets have a second machine to check details

the online repair process; guides and video to help.

    In any case...

    Good luck & happy computing!

    Hi people

I also have a toshiba qosmio e10 notebook. I had problems with it as well lately.

First it started with a slow start, and then at some point I started having error messeges.
When I called the toshiba Helpline advises him to do a check disk. I did this and the problem is still involved.

Now also the hard drive constantly makes noise, but once the computer was successfully loaded its usually very well, it's just starting. A similar thing experience?
What is the best thing to do?

I'm thinking of replacin the hard drive.

In my view there s nothing unusual. Over powering the laser s objective reader calibrates and makes noises.
In addition, such sound can appear if there is a disc in the CD/DVD drive.

  • Slimline makes noises

Hello, I recently bought a slimline pc and since then he has made a low beep noise, I can't tell if it's the case fan or hard drive that makes noise. I ran the hp diagnostics and it doesn't seem to be anything wrong. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Open the verification of cases, for the noise to

    1 disc

    2. power supply

    3. CPU cooling fan

4 bezel Digital video (if equipped) cooling fan

    5. exhaust fan back

Use a rod of wood dry to stop the fan for a few seconds.  If the noise goes away, then you have found the problem.  Wrap a piece of paper, so you can use it as a megaphone.

  • Matching of my Acer Tablet to Harman/Kardon speaker wireless

I have an Acer Iconia tab A700.  Recently, I received as a gift a Harman/Kardon Onyx Studio wireless speaker.  I followed the instructions on how to connect through Bluetooth and my Tablet recognizes the speaker and I select but I don't get all the sounds outside.  Sound continues out of the tablet.  Is there something I'm missing here?  I don't know if the problem is with the tablet or the speaker.  I associated the speaker successfully to an IPod nano using Bluetooth is a bit confusing.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

After you have checked did the sound was still on the shelf?
Check the volume of media on shelf?
Restart the A700 and re - connect the BT

    Hi @bushkitchen,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

  • HP f1703 monitor and Harman/Kardon speakers

I have a HP f1703 monitor who is about nine years old.  It is different from the picture on the site of HP support for this model number - mine has no built-in speakers.  It came bundled with a pair of Harman/Kardon speakers that draw power from the display itself (no separate power supply).

A few days earlier, when my machine using XP, the monitor suddenly began to blink between a black screen and the desktop.  It's a constant nod.  She continues to do so when the VGA cord is not attached and connected to a second desktop computer.  I used a spare of same amperage power cable and it continues to blink.  It seems safe to say that the monitor is ruined.  If there is some simple troubleshooting tips, I would greatly appreciate them.

But my main question is this: given that the speakers are not come with a separate power supply, is it safe to use the power supply to the monitor with them?  The Jack fits perfectly and when it is plugged into an outlet, there is no intererence, crackling or anything like that.  I don't want to fry my card sound or motherboard.

The model number on the speakers is HP 5187-2105.  The rated power is DC 12V 1a.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

    Hello FireDragon,

It is an interesting case. I found the speakers online through Amazon, while they are sold separately without the monitor and it comes with a power supply. What I can't find is the power supply is.

That being said, I can't say for 100% certainty that power can be used, I think that you should not have problems if.

I would also say that (and it is probably not the answer you want to hear) speakers can be relatively cheap and you may be better off just buying a new set of speakers.
