Has no updates?

Please help someone! 26 of my updates failed last night and I turned on my laptop this morning; It lights correctly. The screen seemed wider (as it does in safe mode, where everything is huge) and he spent 5 minutes, run scripts on the page. He has never done this before. And then it turns off and tried to restart, but I'm still just a blank screen. So I turned it off and ran the Startup Repair, it works correctly. Began to reinstall failing security updates and after installing the first I kept getting notifications (after restart) saying that different .exe files are "either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error." Try to install the program using the origial installation media or contact your system administrator or support software provider. "Reboot again. This time start my system, I counted 39 of these notifications (before even logging on my Windows user account) with different files! I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 (another notification when I opened system properties) and I have AVG 9.0 Free Edition as my primary anti-virus. I'm also under Housecall as my secondary anti-virus, but it is not installed. Anything you can help me with would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! Thanks for your suggestions, but managed to get it fixed now, fortunately, have a computer programmer in the family haha. What happened is this:
One of the Microsoft Updates failure had corrupted the TxfLog file that explains the BSOD. Use SystemRescueCD and booting from the disc, rather than the hard drive we allowed to delete the file and run the system, so my laptop restart fixed itself :)
Hehe notifications on an .exe file is not designed to run on Windows was actually caused by a Google Earth Plugin. I couldn't find the program in Control Panel could not uninstall it - do NOT go rooting in the registry (I'm not quite computer enough for that!) so I just moved the GOOGLE folder (with the file GOEC62.exe that was causing problems!) in the program in the trash files, rebooted, and then emptied the trash and restarted again. I tried to just delete the file first, and after restart there reappear!

I hope it's useful for someone else suffers from this problem! :)
