Have a Dell PC with Windows XP Home Edition with restoration, internet and the program of the questions that I went into the details in the body of the present.

I have a Dell with Windows XP Home Edition system that uses the internet connection. Friday, he had a problem with images in line being "pixel-ed", which means that the image was blurred and boxes. So I did a restore of the system back as much as she would in July and concluded that the IAF has a program called accelerator that had been implemented to go faster, but eventually would make very good images. Then, I got that part fixed but now a game that I play "Mahjongg" won't play right and when I go to the area "help and support" to try to reschedule, so it don't open even now. Can someone help me please? Thank you

Thanks for the help. I returned and reinstalled everything, even if it was already installed and now everything works.

The only safe option is to perform a factory restore. If you do not, then you are likely to be confronted with a machine that is seriously infected or was hacked. Have a look here for instructions:

I have Windows XP Home Edition SP3, 32-bit and IE8.  Do I need to upgrade to Windows 7?

The upgrade to Windows 7 is a personal decision.  Chances are that if you can do what you need to do on Windows XP then it is 'useless' to upgrade.  If you plan the upgrade anyway, you should first check to see that your hardware is supported under Windows 7.  To do this, Microsoft has provided a program of "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor" to run on your current computer.

  • I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion went well, I restarted the computer, I get a blue screen and the computer restarts

I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?

    Hi KevinRy,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    Unplug all external devices.

Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.

Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:

    1.

Right-click my computerand then click Properties.

    2.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    3.

Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.

    4.

Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.

    5.

Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.

Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.

Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.

    Kind regards
    Amal-Microsoft Support.

  • How buy/install file MSVBVM60. DLL on my Dell Dimension 8400 - Windows XP Home Edition?

Have made many attempts to install MS of the indications of updates KB2804576 and KB2804577, nothing helped, despite the "installed successfully".  I am told that this is caused by the missing or damaged file: MSVBVM60. DLL. How can I acquire and install this file, if, indeed, that's the problem?  My OS is Windows XP Home Edition.

  • I installed Windows XP Home Edition. Can not find the wireless network drive

I installed Windows XP Home Edition on my spare PC.  Now I have wireless network card in the computer and problems to find the drivers for it, and I don't know what brand it is, so I know it's kind of makes it harder too.  Then I also have to start the computer, but if I press F1, the computer starts well

I was just wondering how can I get rid of this?

Disable all devices that can connect to your router (wired or wireless)...

    • PCs
    • Laptops
    • Tablets
    • Smartphones
    • Smart TV
    • Printers
    • Networked storage
    • Another thing that I have not mentioned above!

Put on your router and wait for the normal light distribution. Then turn on all devices.

I hope that your ip address conflict went away. Generally ip conflicts can happen when the router is running again without doing the same with all devices later.

If you have even an ip address conflict, it is possible that you forgot something above or can someone use your router without your knowledge.

Your router's wireless network is secure? Ideally with WPA2 encryption?

  • Cannot install Service Pack 2 using Windows Vista Home Edition or anything else on the internet.

    Hello

I tried to download and install Service Pack 2 using Windows Vista Home Edition, or anything like that on the internet without success. According to me, the key word is internet or a block of Vista from the internet to install anything. Many people here get the same error 80070005 for SP2 as I am, but I think that the problem is with Vista, how the system allows any installs or blocks installed from the internet. I suppose that some are able to go through the download process, but installation is where it does not pass through. There are moments where it seems that the installation of SP2 works, but it will fail eventually. Other times what ever happens to the installation process. The same goes for all other downloads and installs from the internet. I am able to install a program that already exists on the computer, so I know that installs works just not the Internet. Do not send me a link to install because it probably won't last through. I may be able to download but installation will not pass by so that the program will not work. I used the words installation and internet a lot for some reason please take account, when responding.

    Thank you

  • I have a Dell Desk Top Win XP Home Edition Media. I keep getting the famous error message. Below please

Windows didn't start because the following file is missing or corrupt: Windows/System32/Config/system.   I can't access the Menu 'Start' and the original CD does not work.  All of the suggestions.  I ran the start-up test and others and said he "passed all Tests" I can't select the Recovery Console, unless there is another way to access?

    Hello DEENC,

Thank you for your message.  I looked at your other threads and have a few steps for you to try.  The following steps are to repair a Windows XP installation.

Configure your computer to start from the CD-ROM drive.  For more information on how to do this, refer to your computer documentation or contact the manufacturer of your computer. Insert your Windows XP installation CD, and then restart your computer.

    1.

When the message Press any key to boot from the CD appears on your screen, press a key to start your computer from the Windows XP CD.

    2.

When you see the message to install Windows XP nowand then press ENTER is displayed on the Welcome to the Setup screen, press ENTER.

    3.

Do not choose the option to press R to use the Recovery Console.

    4.

In the Windows XP licensing agreement, press F8 to accept the license agreement.

    5.

Make sure that your current installation of Windows XP is selected in the box, and then press R to repair Windows XP.

    6.

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.

    Hello tfortexas, welcome.

    I recommend to try this:

1 turn off your computer completely
    2. turn on the system and start immediately by pressing the "F8" key until you reach a multiboot menu
    3. Select "Safe Mode with network" in the list
    4. wait until it boots into Windows. This may take a few minutes

    ---
    Once in Windows
    ---

    1. click on START
    2. click on "all programs".
    3. click on "Accessories".
    4. click on "system tools."
    5. click on "system restore."

6 follow the prompts shown to restore your system to a date before the problem started. Although the system restore does not target the personal data, it is recommended that you back up all data such as music, photos and documents in case something is not bad.

The product key from COA (25 characters in a 5 X 5 configuration) on the case of your office should be able to be used to activate a generic copy of the XP OEM, in the same edition that you (home or pro) If you can get one from a friend.  This is the license that cannot be used on multiple computers, not discs.
  • I have Adobe Flash CS3 for Windows. Recently, I switched to Mac and the serial key will not work.

Can I change my version of Windows to a Mac version without having to buy the whole program again?

    Hello

Unfortunetely Flash is the platform-specific, which means that if you have windows you can not install it on mac.

Adobe offers cross-platform from Win to MAC but does apply to the current version of delivery. You have to ask for cross-platform upgrade and pay the upgrade price...

    Please visit: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/order-product-platform-language-swap.htm l

    I hope this helps.
