  I have seen the other question that has been locked and pointed to this topic. Firefox reset should solve this problem. It takes about 10 seconds and will remove the modules and customizations that could cause problems. It will save all of your personal information.   Ok.  I had with jQuery.  There is a special bootstrap class to make it work.

  Similarly, if you have your entry within a modal window of BS field, you would use the shown.bs.modal class.  And it works a treat.

  Hi Marc, it won't make a difference if search you from the home page or the search bar - both use the same default search provider.

• AOL have diverted the search bar, deleted all the other engines and disabled the reset.

  I noticed that at some point today the search bar was reset to aol. I removed aol in the bar, but now there is NO option to search engine. All done malware also deleted all other options in search bar, disabled by default reset settings and seems to have deleted the folder of drive C search plugins. I tried an add-on to restore the default choice, but it didn't work. I tried to reset Firefox and a system restore. None worked. I copied the folder searchplugins from a backup, but that has not changed anything. I don't see a new Mozilla Firefox folder (34) as indicated in some other threads. I looked into: config and there are new things for aol it but I do not know how to remove them or what, if anything should replace them.

  I used to get nine tiles when I open a new tab. All of a sudden I get 6 votes against and a search bar at top. All attempts to remove the search bar failed.
