  Sorry, I did not at first that your Tablespace has been migrated from DMT to LMT. My post was just for newly created LMT.

  Yes, formerly your Tablespace has been a DMT. There is no extended UNIFORM allowance for this kind of Tablespace. UNIFORM and SYSTEM apply only to newly created LMT.

  Increasingly, after having migrated from DMT to LMT, extended allocation rest USER ( DMT ).

  For example, if you want to check the size of the scope in the (migrated) Tablespace you must query DBA_EXTENTS (column bytes or blocks) view for all extensions inside the storage space.

  Can be the size of the scope is all the same. It can occur if a default storage has been set on the DMT with INITIAL = NEXT and PCTINCREASE = 0 and/or any other Storage Clause (with INITIAL = NEXT and PCTINCREASE = 0 ) has been set to the /Index of tables created in this table space.

  I read the RMAN manual and I'm quite familiar with backup a tablespace or data file, but I can find very little uses for it. Backup upward a tablespace is useful for the TPITR, but since who needs another instance sound very little useful in most production environments. I think that you cannot restore an older version of tablespace in a normal database, except if the tablespace has been done long read-only, in which case RMAN optimizations will do the trick.
  Still less use that I can find for the backup of the data file. I have absolutely no idea of what you can do with a single data file.

  OK, you're right. If you are using noarchivelog moden then a partial database backup is no useful. Only the archivelogmode can make a useful partial backup of DB.

  In my notebook, I have 2 instances (orateste and ora11). They are all intended to test. I don't know what happened, but a problem in a partition of my SO did the unavailable Oracle software. I can't start the instance orateste. Even the windows service that is associated with the instance have disappeared from services.msc. What I want to do is to restore only a tablespace for instance orateste to ora11. I have a full D - 1 rman backup. What are the possible solutions?
  
  (1) to restore the entire database (orateste - 11.2.0.1) ora11 (11.2.0.3)?
  
  (2) is there a way to restore only a tablespace between instances and versions?

• Thinreg saves only a single shortcut among several

  I created a package for Websense Email Security 7.3, which has several shortcuts that connects with different executables in the program folder files. When I run a thinreg against the main executable file it does not create the shortcut for this and none of the others. If I install using the MSI file, it installs all the shortcuts. Package.ini attached. Any help would be appreciated.

  I found I can save each shortcut using thinreg manually, but the deployment of SCCM I'd really rather just register against a single object and get all the shortcuts.

  Have you tried to register multiple entry points using the command below:

  thinreg.exe /a ThinAppPath\ * .exe

  I think I want to establish a separate profile to Firefox for my children, my wife, and myself but Mozilla Web site advises against using multiple profiles, unless there is a developer. I'm now on Firefox 3.6.3. I had multiple profiles for one year on previous versions of Firefox and it seemed to do what I wanted. Is there a better way to do this? No technical reason not not to use profiles of boards?

  You can use the Profile Manager to separate profiles of browsers. Everything works very well.

  The warning on the article use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles of Firefox is probably for several reasons:

  • The Profile Manager can be confusing finding a way access and use
  • It is mainly used as a troubleshooting step and the user interface so that it could go away or change to the future of Firefox version.
  • It is easy for less experienced users to do dangerous things like stuck in a new profile, or accidentally delete the default profile.

  But I don't see how using Firefox profiles offer an advantage over Windows user accounts. There is no real password protection, anyone can delete / see / use other profiles, and the user interface is poor.

  That being said, many people use profiles to manage different versions of Firefox without problems.

So, I have created several subVIs to accept my pile of type defed (all together 4 pieces). I link all my subVIs in a single polymorphic VI and use as desired. In all of my subVIs, I change the elements of the cluster in the same order.

  But when you change the code of the subVIs, I need to change the code in the other subVIs, too. Is it possible to create a single VI who will accept multiple clusters of type defs?

  What I would do, is go back to your configuration polymorphic and transform any code which is common proximities different polymorphic cases in a Subvi.  Then just edit the subVIs.

  Yes, you can have several databases (running different ORACLE_SIDs) the ORACLE_HOME even on a single server.

  I suspect that the ORA-12520 error was the result of certain constraints of resources (cpu, memory or i/o) resulting in the inability to create a new database session.

  Hi, having a problem with actions on the symbols. THIS IS a REPOST, hoping someone can help!

  I have symbols that when you click on play to a specific place on the timeline.

  LLE first symbol uses simple click (how I want)

  The rest of the symbols also use single click, but when I test the animation they need, double-click (even if they are coded to be single click)

  Any ideas?

  Marie nailed without even looking at the project.    You call play() on a place that has a trigger that says stop().  The reason why he plays the second time is quite complicated and has to do with the behavior of play() by default when there is a trigger, but the easiest thing to do is to add one to your click event of the timecode.

  For example: Presentation.click currently says:

  SYM. Play (22000);

  Just replace it with:

  SYM. Play (22001);

  The next best thing to do is to change your call of game to use the optional 'false' parameter to force him to run not the trigger at 2200.

  We run around 9 Virtual Centres for the moment due to the large number of VDI we have. The support team have difficulty working with VC to go when they need access to the consoles.

  I created the following script to get the news have asked the team, but I'm stuck at two places.

  • I can get the script runs correctly on a single virtual circuit, but as soon as I try to run it against more it fails. The script presents unique access

  • When the script is running is it possible to add the name of the virtual server Center as a result? It was asked that teams use it as a filter field as well

  Any help on this would stop tear my hair out me and greatly appreciated

• Divide a single avi in several avi files?

  Hi there, totally new to PS Elements 10 first.

  I have a few video VHS tapes that I converted to AVI.  I would like to separate the video into segments (IE; separate Christmas 1982 Easter 1983)- and store them in several AVI files.  I tried to do in MS movie maker, but that took forever.  I bought elements of Prime Minister because I thought, it should be easier. and it's probably, but I'm noob...

  I split the video behind the scenes that I want.  I added markers... but I'm unable to divide the actual pieces of clips video - IE; one big avi file would become 10 smaller avi files.  I try to watch these on a boxee box, if I don't want to be separate - files I don't want to go out 'web dvd '.

  I tried this:

  • I can't export functions.
  • I'm going to 'SHARE', but it won't let me export to a single output.

  How can I do this?  It's for Christmas gifts, so it's a bit urgent - any help you can give me would be so appreciated.

  For partial share/export of a timeline, you will want to use the WAB (work area bar) and set it, as you wish. See this ARTICLE for more information.

  From now on, we receive several PDF files for several transactions in the single extracted file. But is it possible to generate the single pdf file with all transactions. I'm not sure when to change in the FSISYS. INI file. Can anyone help on this. Is there an option like that?

• Generate a single pulse on several channels of an external trigger high-speed DIO

  I'm trying to implement a system using a PCIe-6535 b connected to a high speed of SMB-2163 DIO.  The system must be configured to work with a camera send a trigger (at the beginning of each show) to the PFI4 which in turn sends a single pulse on three digital output channels to lasers.  Each output has its own specific deadline and the width.  There is no counter on the SMB-2163, so I think I need to use Pulse Width Modulation (PWM).  I saw this example and adapted to my system:

  However, when the source to enter the DAQmx VI of sample clock is set to PFI4 (instead of the on-board clock) to receive input from the camera, changes in behaviour.  The rate of sampling in the sample clock VI is ignored, and each element of the digital waveform is triggered.  I need the sequence to complete each after trigger.

  I am attaching a quick diagram of the sequence.  Any suggestions on how I can get this kind of events triggered? (With the help of LabVIEW 2013)

  The external signal must be configured as a trigger for digital startup rather than the sample clock.  I do not think the 6535 redeclenchables supports digital output, so you don't have to restart the task after receipt of each trigger (something like this, however you can improve performance by committing to the task by using the task of control DAQmx before entering the loop).
